Zarletti - Downtown

It was for New Year’s eve and the food and service was excellent..Cesar was our server and he is fantastic. Knowledgeable, great service. i’ve never been disappointed at Zarletti

Nice, upscale but unpretentious, Italian food in a friendly atmosphere. We ate here on NYE and they had a good mix of a special menu as well as their standard items and it was really nice being able to pick from each one as opposed to being restricted to a smaller selection. Great service from Cesar and the rest of the staff. We had the full range from salads and appetizers to entrees and deserts and would come back here anytime we're in town.

Zarletti remains one of our favorite dining spots. The food is excellent and the service outstanding. Personally, especially in these challenging times, we've tried to support our local restaurants. It's so nice to see that the restaurants we've supported acknowledge that support when we dine in person, and are appreciative of it.

Bryan, Matt and the entire staff were fantastic. Food-outstanding. Always a pleasure dining at Zarletti.

The server was really good until he started quickly clearing our plates without asking if we were finished. We definitely felt rushed. The bread was a disappointment compared to the last time I was there. The braised lamb was amazing. Stuffed octopus not so much. House salad to die for.

Food was delicious! Atmosphere and social distancing was quaint and done well. Our waiter just ignored us when a larger party sat next to us. He couldn’t get us out of there fast enough. A little disappointing toward the end, but the food was delicious.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thoughtful comments and consideration of tastes with meal and wine pairings was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and fully intend on coming back; bringing more friends with us. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a wonderful dinner!! Everything was delicious! Skip our waiter was fantastic. We got some of their tasty olive oil to to take home because it was so good.

Always perfect

Service was excellent. We started with stuffed calamari in tomato which was imaginative and very tasty. I had osco which was very good. They included a little spoon to pull out the centers. My wife enjoyed the salmon. The bread was excellent.

I had not eaten there in a bit, but will revisit it in the future.

Food is consistent, good pastas and basics are solid. Staff is friendly and attentive

We had a great server and the food was outstanding! We all had the pistachio crusted halibut with the cherry beurre Blanc sauce, julienned vegetables, potatoes and a half order of the
Mushroom Pappardelle. The Super Tuscan was the perfect compliment and the Tiramisu for dessert was delicious. This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in town. I have yet to have a bad let alone a mediocre experience here. Bravo Zarletti and thank you!

Always amazing food and amazing staff. Great little joint tucked in downtown Milwaukee which has otherwise limited food choices. Great for dates or just a great meal.

This was our first night dining inside since the world has changed. The calamari appetizer stuffed with crabmeat was just fantastic. It was wonderful to see that Zarletti's has kept up with innovative dining in the current restricted world. Service was impeccable along with generous portions. The only downside was that the restaurant was not as lively as it was when we were there in February.

Great food and fantastic service. Recommend trying some of their cocktails and specials they have for the day. Great spot for high end italian dining.

We had an amazing Anniversary at Zarletti. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back! Our server was top notch and the food was spectacular. We enjoyed handmade pasta and a halibut special that was to die for. we even took advantage of their wine special and purchased an extra bottle to take home.

Outstanding dinner. We sat at the bar and Bryan took care of us. He was knowledgeable, personable and gave amazing service. Food was out of this world and is the best Italian we have had in a long time. We felt very safe with all of the Covid protocols and precautions. Thanks for such a great dinner, we can’t wait to come back.

My husband and I had a fantastic dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Food was excellent and we had great assistance with menu and food choices from Brian, he helped to make our evening very special. The restaurant has taken thorough steps to make sure diners have social distance from others and yet can enjoy the wonderful ambiance of the restaurant and downtown location. We felt very safe, and we will be back!

we ate outside on sidewalk so that is lack of ambiance but our choice. The food was out of this world, we shared some pasta for a first course and it was just amazing. I had lemon veal , and it was best I have ever had. My friend had fish she raved about. I had an outstanding manhattan, ok I had two...overall the food could not have been better.
we had a very attentive and pleasant waiter , there are not heaters but it was fine this evening to be outside. It appeared to be quite a few diners inside as well. They have put up partitions at their bar every two people, very innovative and safe looking . I would highly recommend Zarletti's.

Anniversary

Amazing food and felt safe with the social distancing measures taken.

Went out for a friends birthday dinner, she got the bolognese (4/5) and I got the truffle oil pappardelle pasta (5/5). Overall we had a great time!

Excellent atmosphere! The dining room has been redesigned for the pandemic, and we felt comfortable eating here. The food, as always, is exceptional. The staff are welcoming, educated and professional.

This Milwaukee gem continues to shine, even in Covid times. I’ve been reticent to eat indoors, like so many are, but Zarletti put all my worries at ease with their protocols. Food and service were impeccable as well. It was a delightful evening.

The food was phenomenal and service was excellent. Our server offered good recommendations and the restaurant was quiet. Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.

Had an amazing meal outside enjoying the sounds of the city! Started with a few wonderful appetizers and a glass of Italian wine. Then moved to the entrees having halibut while others in the group flocked to the pasta fungi. Amazing meal and service with "Ceasar" is always on point - professional, attentive and great personality! See you all soon!
