Pretty disappointed My partner and I visited Zaragoza for our New Year’s Eve dinner. I made a reservation with the understanding that a set menu was in place, however when we arrived and seated at a tiny table far too close to other diners for comfort, we were told that as there were only two of we could only order fro. The everyday menu. The service was slow and our waiter did not seem to understand what he was doing. We waited far too long for our drinks to arrive and when they did our drinks menu was taken away. When our food finally arrived it was mediocre, the paella was bland and the potatoes were not fresh. Although the meatballs were good. Cocktails and food is very overpriced for what you are getting and the service was terrible. The only highlight of the evening was seeing another couple get engaged.

Had a really nice meal here with my husband and our friends, the food was lovely the cocktails were delicious and the staff were friendly. The only small minus was that you have to be very specific about what water you want. Tap water is available but we only found out after having several bottles of filter water brought to the table and the wooden floors can be a bit treacherous if you are wearing heels. Well worth a visit though!

Went with a group of 10 on 22nd Dec. Have been to zaragoza lots over the last few years and regularly recommend it to friends etc as its always delivered but this was the first occasion I was underwhelmed. We were given a set menu and couldn't use al a carte even though I've been with larger groups before and this wasn't and issue. Maybe it was a christmas issue but it didn;t seem any busier than other saturday nights I'd been there. Service was off too and was difficult to get a waiter at times for drinks. I noticed the normal Maitre'D wasn't there and perhaps that made a difference on the night. Anyway I haven't given up on Zaragoza but would have a hard time convincing the group I was with to go back as a gang.

We came for the tapas but the menu looked like an ordinary menu with the exception that they offered to bring everything out at once. The lady serving us was lovely but didn’t really engage us about the food. The food was very standard other than the pork belly which was lovely. We ordered the marinated feta (just lumps of feta with some seasoning), the mussels (again standard with little sauce and no bread) and the paella (not flavorful) and potato braves (chips with sauce). We felt we could have got a better meal elsewhere for the same price.

Food was delicious & the staff attention to detail is the best I’ve encountered in many years. Lively with a great atmosphere. Ten out of ten all the way for us. Mary
