We live locally and eat out regularly. Our neighbors had recommended the restaurant. Sadly the food was really poor quality. Some of the food was either over cooked or had been reheated. The tacos we ordered were stale and the ‘paella’ was not good. Maybe it was just an ‘off day’ in their kitchen.

Wir mussten 15 Minuten an der Bar warten, obwohl wir den Tisch verbindlich reserviert hatten. Es wurden nicht mal Getränke angeboten an der Bar. Die Kellnerin war sehr unfreundlich. Leider nie wieder!

Trotz vermehrten Terminverschiebungen unsererseits, die Reservierung ist einwandfrei gelaufen. Das ZAPATA war voll. Ich hab’s echt vermisst, weil es so lebendig war. Der Service war immer zur Stelle, aber nicht aufdringlich. Insgesamt eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Authentisches Essen und gute Portionen, auch Extrawünsche wurden nicht vergessen. Auf meinem Teller war ein frittiertes Weizentortilla, Ein „weiches“ Enchiladas mit Hähnchen und Gemüse, ein mit Chili con Carne gefülltes Taco. Was ich besonders fand, ist dass das Chili con Carne nicht mit Hack zubereitet wurde, sondern mit in Würfel geschnittenes Rindfleisch. Mega lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Parkplatz-Situation war chaotisch, aber das nehme ich in Kauf für einen besonderen Abend. Ich denke mit der MVG zu fahren ist besser. Danke für den leckeren Abend! C. Schmidt
