I absolutely love Zaika. My boyfriend and I eat there regularly and sometimes order delivery when we're feeling lazy. The food is consistently delicious no matter what we order, and the staff is so pleasant and friendly. They even recognize us as regulars, and always make sure we are happy and comfortable. Thank you, Zaika!
I usually love and know Indian northern food ! I m from NYC .. so perhaps I m spoiled...
but in My opinion it was bad service and not good food at all ...
The food is spicy unless you request it not to be!
Nothing tasted good !
Food was tasty but wait staff could not understand questions, took forever to bring drink order, and confused item as shown on menu. A real shame as obvious care has gone into the restaurant's interior and authentic cuisine
The whole snapper was exceptional . Salad and chicken Marsala was excellent. Delicious meal, and we enjoyed tremendously. Definitely will return for authentic Indian foods! ThankU!
If you like Indian food, this is the best in Arlington. If you like wine with your dinner, half price wine Monday is a deal. Service was great. Menu has such a great selection. I will definitely be back to this restaurant! Thank you! Zaiya
saw they have 1/2 price bottles of wine on Mondays so might try and come back for that. came here with a groupon for the 2nd time. for what you get, the food is good and restaurant offers great value. The weather was nice so we got to sit outside. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
Service could be more personable. Felt rushed.
The calamari appetizer, goat Zaika and tandoori chicken were all excellent.
Very boring and dull buffet. No desserts. Limited food options. Will not visit again!!!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious food. White wine paired well with dinner, at suggestion of waiter. Will be back
Arlington doesn't have many Indian restaurants so it's nice to have Zaika in Clarendon. It was a lovely evening and so we ate on the patio. Wait staff were attentive. Food was standard fare but well prepared and very tasty and satisfying. I also ha a very refreshing cucumber laced gin cocktail that was delicious. We will be back.
Decent spot especially considering the price for the lunch buffet. Drinks were good as well. Would recommend if in the area and looking for Indian food.
We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious dinner! The mango chicken was great- a little sweet, a little spicy. Been here many times, it never disappoints.
Food quality was good, service was good, but the prices were a bit high. Normally it's a few dollars cheaper per item from what I remember, but this time we got 2-3 things with a drink each and our bill was close to 3 figures
Hard to find -- it's above Sephora's, and the stairs are a bit steep and very, very hard. My son fell on them, so watch that. Food is great. My 10-year-old and I really loved the Mango Chicken. Choice of mild, medium or spicy everything, so there's a lot of control there. My husband loved the Lamb Vindaloo, which he likes very spicy. The mango lassi was not the best I've ever had, and it was pricey, but it was still good. My husband had one beer, and it and the lassi were both small for the price. The garlic naan was also pricey, but very very tasty. The upshot is, the food is great, and the entrees are very reasonably priced, but you pay extra for every little extra that you order, so watch the sides and drinks if you're on a budget. The naan bread and drinks easily doubled my bill. Still, it was a great experience for a nice meal in a nice restaurant. We had a great time. Nice sit down family restaurant, and they seemed to be very patient with the kids at another table who were not the best behaved.
I went with my family to Zaika's for Mother's Day. The food was delicious! I highly recommend their mixed drinks.
We ordered the Kebab Platter and the Samundri Ki Machiyani. The meat was tender and the flavors were on point. The portions were satisfying and I ended up with enough to take home for dinner the next night.
The staff was friendly and attentive. I was able to find a voucher for Zaika on Groupon, which knocked $80 of the bill. Even with the voucher, the meal was expensive, but I have to say it was worth it.
We were the only ones in the restaurant at around 6pm on a Tuesday which felt a little odd but we enjoyed the food! We had a groupon deal which made the whole thing an incredible meal.
Best Indian food I've had in this area. It's my favorite restaurant in Arlington!
We waited a little bit for our server but he was polite and attentive. The food was delicious and portions were more then enough. I will go back.
Good food. Better service and attention to preparation during the week, but still good.
We went on Tuesday night so it was quiet. We sat outside and dine under the stars over Clarendon Town Center. My husband order a mojito and it had very little rum in the drink. That was the only disappointment of the meal. The food was good but standard Indian.
Buffet offered a variety of dishes and properly labeled.
The restaurant makes a good impression when you arrive. Modern, clean design. The place settings have been arranged carefully with quality items. We dined on the early side, so there were only a few customers; however, by 7:00, the restaurant was comfortably full and there was a good sense of relaxed energy. The food arrived promptly; hot and aromatic. Friendly and attentive waiters.
It was disgusting experience, I don't think we will ever go back again. The food was served lukewarm and had no taste. Service was bad , after serving food nobody bothered to come to ask us if everything was ok . Also when we were done no one came to ask If we need anything else . It was a pathetic experience.
Great service! Delicious food - will definitely come back! The spinach appetizer was 🙌
Service was exceptional, super attentive, and foods were authentic and delicious! The women's bathroom was smelly, needs to be cleaned and air freshened. Horrible odor!
Nice ambience, good selection of entrees. My husband had Chicken tikka which was excellent, served on a heated pan like a fajita and tender..I had butter chicken which was not as fresh and the sauce was not as flavorful as I've had elsewhere. Otherwise naan was tasty. Beware of the alcohol prices. My husband got a draft beer which we found out later was $10!
My friends and I had a great time. The food was delicious, service was great and efficient and I had enough left for lunch the next day.
Great experience! Food was delicious, service was prompt and ambiance was exquisite!
Very bad food, next day there was stomach pain. There was a fly in the restaurant.Lemons given were old.
This is one of my go-tos. The staff is always friendly, the food is always quite tasty.
I had the worst experience ever. The waiter and management was super rude. Ordered a soup and made it clear we didn't want cilantro in it (allergy). He bought soup with it and when told him to take it back, he had the audacity to say sorry but the restaurant policy you'll need to take it once ordered has been made. Didn't make any sense at all. They made us pay the bill !!!
Enjoyed new-to-me delicious Indian food while visiting with a friend. Easy to hear each other in spacious dining area. We both chose the buffet option. Many interesting dishes to enjoy.
Good authentic food! Staff was very attentive. The set up was cute.
The food was excellent. Very flavorful. Our waiter was helpful in choosing what to order, allowed us to make substitutions, attentive.
The ambiance is lacking, but food & service makeup for it. A great place for good Indian food in a casual setting.
I really appreciated the restaurant decor. The food was well done and the service's was very attentive.
My sister and I had a Groupon to use. We were pleasantly surprised. We got a bottle of South African pinotage that was quite good. For an appetizer, the vegetable samosa, which was nice paired with the tamarind sauce. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and my sister the chicken curry. They were both delicious. We also tried the garlic naan and the rosemary naan - definitely preferred the garlic. Service was very attentive, plus a manager stopped by to ask about our experience. Would definitely go back for some good Indian food.
The food was good, but the restaurant is desperately in need of repairs. The upholstery is damaged in many of the booths, the ceiling leaks, and the bathrooms are trashed. They also do not accept Groupons on holidays. If they did there might have been more than four people enjoying the New Years Day Sunday buffet.
Excellent food. Too slow service if you order at different times.
