We had a wonderful meal. Our waitress, Puneh, was attentive and professional.
Great Persian dining experience in Sandy Springs!
There are plenty of Persian restaurants in Sandy Springs, but Zafron is becoming my favorite. The decor is lovely, it's not noisy, and the service is outstanding. And the food! I'm on a gluten-free diet and I have a wide range of choices. My only issue is that parking is kind of tight. When the new performing arts center opens, I suspect Zafron will become a favorite for pre- and post-event dining.
Service was easy and accommodating
Food was fresh and well prepared
Chicken kabob was delicious, tender.
Lovely restaurant with amazing Mediterranean food. Entrees are large and easily split.
We love Zafron! It's always delicious, the servers are always friendly, and it's never priced too high. It's one of our favorite restaurants!
Food is always excellent. Room is quiet enough to actually hear your friends. Service friendly and efficient. Enough food to take half home for next meal
This was our 2nd visit and a 1st for our friend. We thoroughly enjoyed the house appetizer (bread, olives, feta cheese, radishes, cucumber, mint and tarragon leaves).
We each had a different entree: 1) Zafron Chicken with Orange Zest Pistachio & Almond rice 2) Tenderloin Kabob and 3) rack of lamb. Each dish was delicious and cooked to perfection.
Our waiter, Will, was very attentive, informative, and gave a great recommendation for our wine.
To top it off, we each had a different dessert, each of us wishing for more.
Zafron is great neighborhood Persian restaurant. Food is fresh and well prepared with authentic ingredients and appropriate portions. Bread is freshly baked on site and generously refilled. The service staff is genuinely friendly. The wine list is fairly narrow. We missed the desserts since we were all too full but they look amazing. For us, this will become a regular stop.
We had a great experience in this restaurant. The food was delicious, we didn't wait too long and the service was amazing. A very friendly and quiet environment. I strongly recommend this place.
It was a perfect evening!
Very nice experience and the food is always good. Love the salads.
This restaurant not only gives their customers great food and service; but, it is so quiet, then the party can have a decent conversation.
Service was good and staff was friendly. Food was good, even though meat for some dishes was a bit too cold. Ambiance was nice, nothing extraordinary though.
Overall not the best experience, due to the mess up that happened with our reservation that was cancelled and then reinstated (due to a birthday party before us).
The food was well prepared and the service was very good. The waiter explained the menu options to our friends who were not familiar. Our friends commented on how nice the atmosphere and food were.
Great neighborhood spot, but worth making the drive. Food is authentic and you can't make a bad choice.
Took the family out for lunch. Loved the food. Everything was made to order and cooked to perfection. The Basmati rice was fantastic and the chicken and lamb kebabs we're outstanding However the high point of the meal were the desserts. We ordered a chocolate mousse and a apricot flan. The mousse was enclosed in a beehive of chocolate and the apricot was layered onto a cake base so we were able to cut both of them in half and and share. Service was excellent and a platter of herbs and olives together with lavosh bread was brought to the table immediately. We also a Hummus appetizer which was enough for four people plus we took some home. All in all it was a very pleasant out of the ordinary dining experience and one which we recommend to all who love good food, service and a ambience.
Spectacular service and attention to details.
We came with our little grandson and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, especially the hostess. They made us feel welcome, just like family and the food was delicious.
Not only are the food and service excellent, this is one of the few restaurants where people can have a decent conversation, as most others are horribly noisy.
Love this place great food fresh and great service
It is usually our favorite neighborhood restaurant, but on this occasion, the service was very slow and our food was cold..I think they were understaffed that night.
I will definitely go back.
Prompt, attentive service. The food was very good. Excellent selection of appetizers. We’ve occasionally had dinner out of their appetizer selection, tapas style.
A friend and I went to visit and enjoy a nice dinner. Our waitress was very personable and knowledgeable. It was fully priced but a very enjoyable evening.
We had a great meal at Zafron last night. Service and food were excellent. Quiet enough for conversation. Good variety.
Thank you for making our family’s special day fun and enjoyable.
Excellent Persian food, ambiance and service.
We wanted a relaxed but delicious experience on a Friday night, without the long wait for a table. Zafron fit the bill. It was excellent food, great service, comfortable atmosphere that was quiet enough for conversation. Each of us ordered something different, chicken barg, salmon and veggie kabob, and we shared, family style. It was more than enough food for 3 of us; we even took some home. We loved our food and the whole experience and will definitely return.
I love the food here, the wait staff is always excellent, Rico is amazing! He always knows exactly which dish I’m in the mood for. This is a very romantic quiet dinner location. Best Persian food in the city- Hands Down! Come Hungry!
first time back since the restaurant was renovated. very nice decor, energetic. food seemed to be better than previously! will def be back.
was there on a saturday nite. also, had friends there same night, diff table. while our service was a little slow, their service was terribly slow! hope it was just a very busy, unusual saturday night & not the way it always is.
Service was very good and the meals were as delicious as they were attractive on the plate!
Hour and half to get our food :(
Food consistently better than nearby “Persian” competitors, and less expensive and pretentious to boot. Kebabs and rice dishes do not disappoint.
This is a great neighborhood find. The food, service and ambiance is excellent. It is very quiet, which is not true of so many restaurants
I’ve eaten here several times and been pleased but this was the first Saturday night experience. It was crowded and there seemed to be a big party/private room requiring a lot of service. Our server did not write down our order and completely missed the appetizer we ordered. For entrees, both my husband and I ordered meat dishes at medium rare temperature. They were closer to well done but we could not locate our server to discuss. Not sure if the server put the order in wrong or it was a kitchen error. About halfway through our meal we were both out of drinks and water, and again, our server was nowhere in sight. It’s difficult to enjoy a meal with nothing to drink and this was at least 10 minutes. We flagged down someone else who brought us water in wine glasses because they ran out of water glasses. Clearly an off night for them, which is too bad. I’m too afraid to recommend it due to the inconsistency. Note: the server brought the appetizer out as we were almost finished the entrees and made sure to tell us it was complimentary. They tried but if the server is working too many tables than someone else needs to make sure the customers have everything they need. The food is always nice but this experience was disappointing
My lunch group has been here several times, and we all love the food! We are a big salad group, and love all of their salads.
Excellent food with nice ambiance where you can actually talk.
