Local gem and our favorite. Cozy and amazing food. Great staff.
Enjoyed my lunch. Wish pita was warm/fresher. Server was very sweet, needed more training.
I love this place. All staff are friendly.
Our server, a young Korean woman is the most friendly, courteous and enjoyable server I have ever had.
She is a treasure.
Always good food and service. We go a couple of times a month.
Most of the personnel seem aloof/indifferent to our presence. I don't think I saw a smile all evening. My husband had the "rhubarb" lamb shank which was OK - but had NO signs of rhubarb and more fat than expected and it came in a metal bowl which was difficult to maneuver. I had the lamb kabob and asked for it to be pink in the middle and moist. Two of the pieces were pink - the others were dry and over tenderized. My kabob was served on a metal [or plastic] tray rather than a china plate [and it felt strange for me to eat off of it.] They do have a nice wine list with reasonable prices and we enjoyed our bottle of wine!
The sea bass is wonderful. Service excellent. Good value.
This is our neighborhood gem, but well worth traveling there for great ambiance good service and excellent food.
The food was enjoyable and the presentation interesting. The service was a little slow, and the wait for the bathroom a little odd, and although there were not many people it became loud quickly. I did not include in my assessment but I was surprised at the limited adult drink menu (not a stocked bar), considering the price point. I saw the sodas and beers go from consumer packaging into the glasses from the kitchen.
Great service, tasty food
Great food . Service was excellent. Our server, Chase, was attentive, but not overly so and made some good recommendations. Would certainly go back again.
Good value for lunch, authentic and plentiful. The ambiance was nice, the manager at front could be a bit more welcoming. Over all it was great.
Have eaten at Zafron on a few occasions and have been consistently pleased with the food, service and staff!! George N.
This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! Every dish is fantastic!
Love the food fresh and service was great ❤️❤️❤️
The food was good but the service was not that great.
Had a great time, always amazing food. Met my grandfather for dinner and everything was perfect. Chase is an amazing waiter and a super nice guy. I highly recommend the chicken wings and lamb!
Excellent meal every time .. our favorite Persian food in Dandy Springs .. thank you!
Excellent food quality and great ambiance. Desert was a bit disappointing.
I love this place.
Excellent as before. Delicious, and just the right amount of attention.
OH YES....this restaurant exceeded our expectations on every level. If you adore Mediterranean/Mid East good don't miss Zafron's.
The food and the ambiance was awesome 👏🏼 We went there for birthday n the food made it even better.
But I felt the price was a bit high then usual.
What a wonderful experience. The restaurant had a lovely Ambience. Our server Iman was very helpful and a friendly. He provided excellent service. We certainly enjoyed all of our meals which included the shrimp, zaffron chicken, and the roasted salmon. The rice and vegetable kabobs were excellent as well. Also the hummus was nice and fresh. We will be back!
Food was average. Didn’t compare to Rumi’s
Always a good bet
The server hovered too much. My salmon was over cooked
It was a busy Saturday night. The vegetable kabob was delicious. I look forward to dining at Zafron again.
It’s become a favorite of mine The food is beyond delicious. The ambiance is bright, inviting and soothing. The service is outstanding.
Our service was great. Unfortunately, guests only return for good food.
Went for lunch on Saturday. 3 other tables were already seated. Our server Lia was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Even though there were only a few other tables our food took over 20 minutes. Two of my friends ordered ka-bobs. When their food arrived there was just meat and rice on their plates. My understanding of a ka-bob is it’s meat, onions and peppers on a skewer. Definitely not ka-bobs. Upon further inspection there were holes through the meat as if it were on a skewer and then the skewer removed. At this point the restaurant was very busy. Our server was absolutely swamped. No fault of her own. We decided to eat our lunch and not wait for the problem to be corrected. That being said, the food was okay but not memorable.
This was our first time eating here. Great food and service. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend
It was a busy night. Food and service was fantastic. I had a Posted salmon with favs bean rice which was delicious. The Manager checked on us few times and gave a free dessert to my kids.
First time dining at this restaurant. The service was a little "off". I think our waiter changed 3 times because no one knew who was handling our table. Not sure I could eat Persian food that often (quite "seasoned"), but it was very good and generous portions!
Excellent food, service, and ambiance! We were with friends we had not seen in a great while and could actually hear each other and converse without any problem! Attentive staff and beautifully prepared food. Will definitely go back soon!!
I had a great experience in my fist time dine in Zafron Restaurant That have a really nice and friendly staff. I had salmon kabab with orange zest rice which was delicious. Management team check on us few times and gave us free dessert.
Delicious and plentiful salad made for a great lunch!
Consistently excellent in service and in the quality of the food...Each time we've come, I've never been disappointed...Kudos to all who make this one of the most reliable and delectable restaurants in Atlanta!
They were amazing with our kiddos. Let them pick a dessert and treated them so nicely.
A neighborhood favorite. Zafron is the kind of place you like to have in a neighborhood- good food, reasonable prices, friendly staff, casual , upbeat feel. We're usually there about once a month or so and it's almost unusual not to run into someone you know. The Persian food is always good- we love the salmon!- and prices are significantly cheaper than the bigger, more well-known, and MUCH noisier Persian restaurant a few blocks away. Zafron also has the good fortune to be located directly across the street from the beautiful brand new Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center that opened in fall, 2018, and is a great new venue for plays and concerts.
