They did not have enough help and we had to ask twice to get a refill on a diet coke and the water glasses were empty and never refilled.

Very good food. Definitely a bit on the pricey end. Good service too. Ambiance was fine, not too noisy.

Upon arrival I had to wait several minutes prior to being seated. There were 5 of us and we were seated at a very small table. Our server was nice, but slow at times. Also, it was off putting to find out that the lunch menu on the weekend was the same as the dinner menu. We all enjoyed our meals, the food was well prepared and very tasty. Overall, it was a mixed experience.

Zaffrons COULD be my absolute favorite Persian restaurant in the area IF it offered CHOICE of rice WITHOUT an added charge, like others (nameless) in the area DO. I'd try a lot of other dishes if patron were allowed to choose the rice accompaniment without a substitution charge. Other that that , LOVE it.
