Yvonne’s Café is an adorable café in the community of Ocean Grove. The restaurant specializes in modern European cuisine and serves both breakfast and brunch. The intimate café offers both indoor and outdoor seating and is decorated with elegant lighting, comfortable seating and large windows looking out on the beautiful neighborhood.
Yvonne’s Café has a delectable breakfast menu that consists of classic home cooked favorites, including stuffed Bavarian french toast, portobello mushroom omelet, monte Cristo, Cajun omelet and homemade muffins. Additionally, Yvonne’s Café also has a decent dinner menu for guests to enjoy. This menu consists of crab cakes, eggplant rollatini, orange glazed salmon, slow cooked baby back ribs and chicken marsala.
location is in Ocean Grove which has a throw back center of town . You would want to walk around after dinner. Yvonne's is cozy with 10 tables. The service was super professional and friendly. Dinner was delicious from appetizers to dessert. We had great soup and gourmet lemongello chicken wings that were better than any wings. The seafood and steak specials we delicious. We finished off with flourless chocolate cake. My wife and I like to have our dinner Unrushed which is exactly what they provided. We have been suggesting Yvonnes to our friends. Since it is a summer town, we plan on hitting this place multiple times before the summer. By the way, I hear it is a great breakfast place too.
This is a good restaurant, and worth the trip to Ocean Grove The food is always fresh, a nice menu
and everything is well prepared. The place cute, quaint and clean. The lights were so bright for Saturday night dining you almost needed sunglasses. Obviously the manager doesn't understand that evening dining requires a soft light.
Good food, good quality, good service. Nothing spectacular, but meets expectations. Expect to patron again in future.
Yvonne's Cafe is a small, intimate unassuming restaurant in Ocean Grove that's easy to walk past. DON'T! It's a gem of a place for dinner. The portions are generous and the taste and presentation are memorable. The menu is creative and current but unlike so many restaurants that seem to try too hard, Yvonne's knows how to incorporate kale or quinoa in complementary ways. Even a simple dish of whole wheat pasta with vegetables has a freshness and zest to it. The fish specials are always outstanding and varied.
If you don't want a full meal, the salads are equally wonderful. It's a BYOB which is another nice bonus. Ocean Grove is a special little town and Yvonne's just adds to that. It's small, like the town, so be sure to make a reservation ... and dress warm. It can get cold when the door opens and closes.
My wife and I tried this restaurant recently and enjoyed our meal. The service was attentive. Prices are reasonable.
The door opens and closes so dress warm but the food is inviting, and the service is warm and attentive. What a treat to find another great OG restaurant - and a BYO. Can't wait to come back.
Went there just looking for a new place and what a great surprise. Really nice extensive menu, gourmet dishes and or comfort food. Food and service were outstanding. Got to leave room for dessert. BYOB as well makes this one of my new favorites
I have dined at this restaurant many times for breakfast and it is very good. We decided to try the dinner and even thogh the food is "prepared to order" the salads lacked the proper amount of dressing so it was dry and without taste. The entries portions were good but again the seasoning was missing. It may have been an off night for the chef or since we dined at 8:30pm, the kitchen has exhausted their creative abilities? I will stick to breakfast.
Food and service were outstanding . I had the Pork Osso Bucco, taste, presentation and portion were well worth the price. My girlfriend had the Filet of Beef Wellington and loved it. It is a BYO, so buy your refreshments before you get to Ocean Grove, it's a dry town.
My seafood fra diablo was exactly as I asked for.
My husbands franchise was just as good. It is a great ace right in the middle of town. You could eat I nor out. The service was just as good.
