Street food is the great equalizer--no glamour required. Yakitori, when well-executed, is about the simple flavors of authentic street food. A hot grill provides intense flavors from seasonal proteins and vegetables, grilled to order over a chattering, hissing fire.
Beer, wine, and sake selections compliment the fresh-grilled flavors. Craft cocktails, Japanese whiskys and spirits are chosen for customized meal pairings. Experiment and discover!
Bottle 183/1000 this sake is a rare gem. Aged in ceramic and stored in a system of bomb shelters, tensei has an artful complexity. An initial firm approach gives way to subtle tartness and notes of banana and citrus
Naba Shoten, 'Minato Harbor', Yamahai Nama Genshu
Hailing from the Akita prefecture in northern Japan, the fishermen of this area spend long hours on the icy waters and when they return home want a rich and warming beverage. This sake is exactly that with a lively mouth feel, umami and hints of cocoa
Master brewer – Miho Imada –is widely regarded as one of the most dedicated and talented of japan's few female toji. This sake is made from the long overlooked hattan-so rice varietal resulting in a uniquely clean and subtle junmai
Yuho, 'Rhythm of the Centuries', Yamahai Junmai
A unique and beautiful yamahai! Aged for four years before it's release, think sweet potato, Orange blossom and bergamot with a higher than usual acidity for a sake. Warm or cold, it's delicious
Rihaku, Junmai Ginjo Nama Genshu
A special release from the rihaku brewery. Unpasteurized and undiluted, tropical fruit, cream soda, and anise with a beautiful complexity and acidity make this sake an absolute stunner. Get it while you can!
Kikusui Funaguchi, Honjozo Nama Genshu
This is a bold and flavorful undiluted, unpasteurized party in a can. With alcohol content coming in at 19% - we suggest enlisting a friend or two when attempting the "liter can challenge"
Dewatsuru, Kimoto Junmai
A whopping 1.8 liter bottle that's perfect for groups of eight or more. This one is a show stopper and party starter with a mellow flavor and higher than usual acidity

Food was great, but service was really slow to get a drink. Had to wait a good 10-15 minutes at our table to get a drink. Then our glasses stayed empty for 15-20 minutes. Otherwise server was very knowledgeable.
I've been to Yusho twice before and when I went on Saturday the menu had changed. Some old favorites were still on the menu but, things like the pickles and the flank steak seemed tired and in need of a revision themselves. I like the cocktails and Sake choices but I think I've gone to Yusho for the last time.
we had a great birthday dinner here for my boyfriend. Wonderful food and service. Cocktails were very delicious. We were seated at our table right away. Food came out quickly and we were very stuffed. What a great meal.
