This was either our 3rd or 4th time at Yuki Hana, and like every time before, it was phenomenal. Justin was our server, and he’s absolutely wonderful. He’s knowledgeable and friendly and just helps make the overall experience memorable and wonderful. I had the cauliflower salad and the citrus and fuji mountain rolls. My husband had the octopus appetizer, miso with clams, and a chef’s sashimi choice entree. We also had a special bluefin tuna appetizer that was a special that had three slices from two areas of the tuna (in the photos you will only see 5 pieces because my husband couldn’t wait for a photo before he ate it). We both love the food and highly recommend it.
We made a reservation to make sure that we could be in and out on time. Sat down 7:30 and appetizers did not make it to our table until 8:30pm. My 6 year old’s dinner was a Shrimp Tempura Roll and her Roll finally arrived to the table at 9pm. My entree was Duck Ramen and the Duck was Raw and it was non-chewable. I had to send it back to the kitchen. Despite them first insisting on me reordering another dish, the additional wait time was not worth it for us as I had other friends with us that were done with their meals already. Drinks were never refilled. When our checks came to our table, our dirty dishes were still stacked on the table. Unacceptable.
What an amazing dinner we had tonight, celebrating our friends Bday. The service was exceptional and the food was perfect. It felt like we tried everything. Blue fin tuna, ahi poke, grilled octopus, pork belly, steak teriyaki. The firecracker rolls served in a beautiful presentation. The Christmas roll is one I’d order again too. Saki was even better than normal. Jizake Tenzan. Thank you Justin & Yen for your attention to detail in food & service.
Two steps above anybody else serving Japanese food Magical dinning menu in Orlando area
The roasted cauliflower salad was delicious. We also had Ahi Poke, Vietnamese shashimi roll and both were excellent. The Hana roll was a little boring in comparison to all the other items, and the tuna on top of that roll didn't taste very fresh. We will definitely be back.
Chef was great and creative , food is fresh , service is very good , good performance in magical dining occasion
I enjoy the experience. Really like the place and the food superb.
Very busy night with Magical Dining. The server was great and knowledgeable but did not have enough help so we did have to wait a while. Food was great as usual.
We went for Magical Dining month on a Saturday night. Overall, the food was quite good (with the exception of the steak entree from the Magical Dining menu, which was overcooked, tough and flavorless).
The service, however, was unbelievably slow and inattentive. We sat for nearly 20 minutes before even receiving our drink order, and another 20-30 minutes after that before receiving the first course. The entire meal dragged on for almost 2.5 hours. The restaurant was only about half full, and other tables that came in long after we did had food before we did. The pacing of the three-course meal was way off. Instead of enjoying a leisurely meal, we couldn't wait to leave.
This was not our first visit to this restaurant, but it will be our last after this experience.
We went there for magical dining. The app and entree were overwhelmingly delicious! I had the gyoza (probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted) and the duck ramen. The duck meat was soft and the skin crispy. The noodles were made in-house. I had the panko brownie bites which I didn’t particularly enjoy though. Service was great and attentive and the ambience was nice too.
We decided to try this place since they were offering Magical Dining. It was a mid-week evening and they were less than half full. We placed our order and waited 30 minutes for our salads to arrive. The salad was very good ( roasted cauliflower on bed of greens) but then we waited another 45 minutes for our sushi rolls to arrive. While there were a lot of rolls, they were a bit salty and lacking any real appeal. Our desserts were not very good.
This place is worth a visit. Creative menu items and high quality presentation. Should be on your list of sushi go-tos in Orlando.
Food was good although not as good as in previous visits. Service was fantastic.
A great start to a first date! The waitress’ recommends were spot on and the food was excellent. Would definitely return in the future.
Once a month I go to dinner with my nieces and my daughter-in-law. We each take turns picking where to go and this month was my turn. I would say that I made a very good choice. The food was excellent, it was quiet so we could talk and the server was very attentive and could answer all of our questions about food choices. I will definitely go there again.
Service was ridiculously slow. We were one of 4 tables and it took over 2 hours to get soup, 2 apps, 1 entree, and 2 rolls.
The ocean trout nigiri and cauliflower salad were amazing.
We had two appetizers off of the happy hour menu which were very tasty. For dinner my wife had a diamond roll and I had Duck ramen and they were both excellent.
Yuki Hana was amazing! I took my girlfriend here for a date and everything about the experience was amazing. The staff was incredibly friendly and the food was second to none. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes good food.
Quite enough to enjoy a romantic conversation. Such beautiful, fresh presentation and food. This is one of the best quality and service restaurants in Orlando. We’ve flown to big cities to experience amazing dining experiences, only to find this amazing place in our backyard!
Don’t go!!! The sushi was not great, we were sick the next day. Publix sushi is better quality. The beef skewers were also terrible. The beef was chewy and possibly old I had to spit it out. Never going there again, it was a mistake to try this place.
Everything was excellent. Sushi quality is A-grade
Enjoyed a lovely evening as part of Bite30. You definitely want to come with an empty stomach and a hefty appetite, because you are going to leave properly stuffed!
The service was the best I've had in quite some time and I really appreciated how nice, quiet and clean the restaurant was.
MY MENU CHOICES
I did go for a ginger salad, $6 wasn't too bad. I love ginger and I came very hungry. .
STARTER: Wagyu Gyoza - Mm! So good. The oxtail jus really made that dish for me. It had such an amazing bold, umami flavor. I normally always get an ahi poke starter, so I changed it up tonight and had no regrets whatsoever
🥂 **For $12 you can also enjoy a Cold Sake Flight, which you really don't want to miss out on 😉
MAIN: Duck Ramen- Instead of going with two rolls of sushi(which was such a hard choice to make) I went with the #DuckRamen. The duck thigh was succulent and the skin was nice and crispy as promised. I only wish I had written down all my thoughts on this dish, it was just so good. That duck! 😚
DESSERT: Japanese Cotton Cheesecake- This was the hardest course to decide on. As a matchaholic, it was hard to pass on the Matcha Creme Brulee; and as a human it was just as hard to not get the panko fried brownie, but I just couldn't resist going for the fluffy cheesecake with strawberry ice cream and YUZU FOAM 😍Despite being pretty stuffed , this dessert didn't last very long on my plate. I will say that the cheesecake was much denser than I was anticipating , however the flavor was very nice. It was almost like a chiffon and a cheesecake made a beautiful delicious baby that went amazingly well with strawberry ice cream. And omg that Yuzu foam....
Overall, every course was delectable, I left extremely well fed and rocking a food baby. I'd advise going with company and everyone ordering a different dessert, so you get to enjoy each one 😊 - my only regret of the night
Yuki Hana is the perfect sushi experience. The dishes are artfully prepared and are a feast for both eyes and the palate. Don't be lulled into thinking that sushi is all California rolls and fresh tuna on rice. Yuki Hana brings you to a different level.
Service was absolutely incredible!
The food was very nice and was an incredible value with their happy hour specials.
I was expecting more since Yuki Hana is on Open Table, but it did not make for a memorable positive experience. I will not be going back again.
Excellent service by our server, creative and awesome food and presentation. I even made a special request in my reservation which they exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back soon! What a gem!
Sushi is my number one favorite food and I am very critical of my sushi. I have been to Yuki Hana many times and I cannot get enough. I had the poke bowl for lunch and it was Awesome along with the Christmas roll. You can tell that the fish is definitely top, top, grade (not fishy tasting at all) like in some other places. The organic greens mixed with the top grade sushi and pride really makes it a great dining experience. Soft lighting, quiet music and great atmosphere makes it so comfortable. I am so glad that the owner Ping takes great pride in her restaurant, there and I keep going back. Yea for the poke bowl and Ramen Tuesday. Thank you Yuki Hana for being there.
Great experience. Food, service, ambiance, noise level......couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. Will definitely return
We have been coming here since they opened. CHEF EDDY is a step above the staff is incredible and the new look and taste of sushi or Japanese cuisine is incomparable.
There was a film on the shrimp they didn't take off that looked and tasted like plastic.
Excellent food, decor, relax environment and attention.
Enjoyed our meal. Staff friendly. Good selection of entrees.
The sushi was better than average, but it took a long time for our food to come out.
Truthfully they appear to be struggling a bit. Food lacked their past flare with smaller quantities and higher prices; even the quality of their menus were different --rather flimsy paper. Saddened as this was one of our favorite spots and the Owner is so nice. Don't think we'll be back as value for price unfortunately not worth it.
I dined here with my sister and her friend who were visiting from out of town and we all enjoyed tasting and dining from each other's plates. The wines were very tasty 😋
There was a really awesome guy named Shane, he was the prep chef and was working behind the sushi bar. He was so great to talk to! We definitely want to go back to talk to him more and see what he recommends. The rolls however were okay, the rice wasn't fantastic but it was okay if you're just craving sushi. The prices were pretty expensive though. I would say their more expensive than the average sushi place.
As usual Ping and her staff did an excellent job with the sushi plates. Pretty, tasty and varied.
Tried Yuki Hana for the first time for an early birthday dinner with my husband. The food took a bit longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait!
Everything we ate was obviously prepared with skill and care, and we would definitely order everything we tried again. Service was fantastic and ambiance was lovely. We will definitely be back.
My wife and I dined here for the first time and were not disappointed. This is a neighborhood gem serving up delicious Japanese food. The sushi was fantastic! Wednesday nights offer $6 wine by the glass...bonus. Our server was very friendly and informative. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would highly recommend!
