Beautiful ambiance, below average service
Love love LOVE Ysabel, will always be a favorite of mine.
Love love love!! We celebrated my b day on Monday and i enjoyed the food and the service, atmosphere.. everything is spot on ! 👌🏻 i am definitely coming back very soon!
The ambience is always calm, classy and beautiful at YSABEL. The food is delicious and consistent!! Brought my mom for a celebration 🤗🥰
My experience was amazing and im so glad I spent my birthday here. I cannot wait to return.
Had an amazing date with a special girl!
So overpriced
The food was excellent! We were required to eat outside due to covid. I felt that the tables were a little closer than I would have liked. Also, the music was not to my taste. It had quite a bit of profanity which made me very uncomfortable and rather loud.
Just a great experience all around
Our server was horrible. Never had that bad of service. Disappointed.. love the restaurant though one of my fave gems in LA.
Surprisingly poor dining experience. Poor management and service. Slow service, and then appetizers came far apart but worse that half the party got their entrees and the other half got theirs 15-20 min later! We waited for everyone to get theirs and ended up eating cold food.
Asked to speak to a manager who came out for 1 min and said let me see what I can do...? He didn’t even come back to even check up or say if he comped anything (didn’t care for that but the principle of it). He didn’t come back and apologize or anything.
Just disappointed bc this has been one of our favorite restaurants for so long! Terrible experience.
We were there for a farewell dinner with a party of 6 - a favorite restaurant of all of ours not sure about now...
The food was great and it is a nice atmosphere. However, our server forgot about us and we sat with empty plates and cups for quite a while waiting for our check. They may have been understaffed or overwhelmed since our reservation was right after they opened for dinner. The service was not good in our experience but I would give them another chance!
Beautiful. Food was fantastic.
Meal was great but too salty other than that great :)
Great vibes
Totally Liked the place. Nice atmosphere, the music is a little too loud.
Delicious food and the beat drinks u can get
The food and service was amazing as usual. I am glad Ysabel is open again. I highly recommend this place for a date or just a night out for dinner and drinks.
Best decor in the world
Love this place! Great vibe! The seafood items are delicious!
Your steak side options are very limited with four different potato items, please add variety like asparagus, spinach etc. for those looking for a healthier option
I went on President's day to celebrate my birthday and while it was busy, it didn't feel uncomfortable or overpacked for covid's sake. Really amazing ambience, lively music that I couldn't help but dance to, menu variety, and service. They had a large number of heating lamps set up in the courtyard that were all spaced nicely so each table essentially got their own which was really great. They might have a bit of a limited menu at the moment (probably due to Covid), but we still struggled to narrow our top choices down.
We started with the shrimp and brussel sprouts appetizers that were SO tasty, and then chose the scallops with bok choy and potato pasta with oxtail ragu. Both amazing as well. Lastly, we finished with a creme brulee topped with strawberries that was so perfectly made, I didn't even realize I had room to eat all of it.
Very happy with how the night went and will definitely be back soon
I thought that the restaurant was great. Amazing music
Was here for a Valentines dinner was really lovly food was great staff was friendly and I felt safe
Host needs to do a better job at seating people.
The cocktails, food and wine are still great and not crazy overpriced. The ambiance is terrible; ridiculously loud and completely out of place - on a Valentine’s Eve date night at a higher-end restaurant, I don’t want (and it didn’t look like any of our fellow diners wanted) Cardi B’s WAP playing. We were initially seated directly under and speaker and had to ask to be moved, which the server was very nice about and took care of. Later in the evening (930p after we’d been seated about 815p for an 800p reservation) an extremely rude person stormed up to our table, and without introduction, whilst we were eating, she loudly told us their policy was 90 mins and we’d been there 3hrs and that we’d have to go, then left before we could speak. We asked our server to speak to the manager... turns out that rude person was the manager. After she returned to the table (I asked her to step away from the table so as not to further disturb my date) and informed her of her mistake she was apologetic, but the damage had been done and the night ruined. Appalling customer service. Appalling ambiance. It’s a shame Ysabel used to be a great, reliable “go-to” for an elegant night out.
You are our favorite restaurant to go to in LA....thank you for ALWAYS making it special and accomodating my requests for tables in the inner patio.................FOOD always fab and we love our servers
Loved this place, so cute and the food was great! We ordered the Hamachi sashimi (fresh & great flavor), Truffle fries (so good), Rigatoni (fantastic), and the Lamb Chops (delicious)... would definitely recommend!
Reserved dinner for 2 and it was well in advance. The hostess seated us right next to a wall on the side of the restaurant. Our table was the size of a coffee table and it was uncomfortable to say the least. Our plates were huge and we could barely put our utensils on the table. Seats were uncomfortable as welll. I explained this to the waiter and requested to be seated elsewhere. We were given a excuse that the seating chart is randomized and can’t accommodate at this time. Our seating area wasn’t an actual seating area, it looked put together at the last second. Reesh, the manager was very rude and interrupted me while I was expressing issues regarding the service. She blamed the waiter, and the waiter blamed the seat schedulers. No one took accountability. I felt uncomfortable how close we were to another couple as. They all made excuses. Terrible service.
The service was a 10 (thank you, Barbara!), food was a 10 and visually, Ysabel is an aesthetic treat for the eyes. However, we were totally put off by the crazy rap that was playing on the speakers...Nearly EVERY word was rude and outrageously profane and was playing so loudly (even in the bathroom) that you could hardly hear yourself talk. Not only did it take away from the general ambiance but was NOT AT ALL conducive to a nice dinner out. All that being said, as food and service are great so we will give it another try at some point and hope for better!
Phenomenal experience, and the service was amazing. Laureline went above and beyond to make our evening memorable.
Beautiful place, nice ambiance. Food was delicious too.
The service and the food was horrible I would never go back
Delicious food and amazing vibe
Food and ambiance is the best in LA
The hostess/ manager was extremely rude and spoke terribly to me and my friends. She purposely put us on a bad table in the restraunt because we were dancing outside and saying happy birthday to my friend (she found that to be rude) and when we asked nicely to move tables, she cursed at us and did not even look for any alternative spots (even though I counted 4 other empty tables to sit at.) we have never encountered this rude of a hostess in our lives and hope that NO ONE has to deal with the terribly bad energy she gave our group. Keep in mind it was my friends birthday (as she knew) and still wouldn’t think twice to accommodate us.
Great place to celebrate & tasty food n drinks!
Favorite spot
In the wise words of Paris Hilton-loves it.
I love it, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great
