We had dinner at the restaurant before the show. The food was quite good, but pricier than most restaurants for the same items.

My friend and I dined at Yoshi’s prior to the Jon B. show last night. The food was excellent and service was just as great. The spinach salad was fresh and very flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed it! The skewered beef was another favorite of mine. The meat was so tender and perfectly flavored. My friend had the hamachi crudo, scallop and shrimp tempura “fritters” and the pork chop which was recommended by our server and did not disappoint. Everything was so delicious. Our server, Edwin, helped make our dining experience even better. He recommended favorite dishes that we really enjoyed. He was professional, friendly, helpful and provided excellent service. I look forward to returning soon!

It was a great first experience at Yoshi’s. The food came out fast and fresh, it was such a great experience we are planning a monthly trip to Yoshi’s.

Well, the food all came in at once the appetizers, the salad and the entrées all came at once, which made it very difficult on the table. My father-in-law had a big long black hair in his salad. I thought they at least take the salad off the bill but they didn’t . Server didn’t apologize must happen often , didn’t come around that often, didn’t care for the sushi especially the Jack London roll

Get the pork chop. Trust me! Sushi and grilled chicken/fish were also very good. Plenty of sake to choose from too.

Very authentic flavor and cooking techniques. Excellent service. If you are going to a show, reserve a table for dinner. You can get really great reserved seats for the show. We like to dine at 6 and the doors open at 7:30. Prices - a tad high but boy do you get your money’s worth! Also it is a great date night spot. Elegantly designed interior, very nice restrooms, And they validate parking!!!! I have been stopping in at Yoshi’s since it was in Claremont Ave at College. Always a great place to dress up and go out to. If you are a music aficionado and pay attention to acoustics and the quality of the piano and sound / lights - you will love Yoshi’s. Finally, you can order food, drinks, and desserts - at the show. We usually don’t order alcohol with dinner. Since there is a 1 item minimum at the show, we order a cocktail for after dinner! Perfect night!

Our experience at Yoshi's was wonderful. We had a large party of 7, including one 6 y/o, and they did great setting us up and getting our food out quickly. It was all delicious. Don't forget arriving early and getting Happy Hour in the bar! We love the fried chicken nuggets there too!
