Yoshi's has served Japan's best traditional dishes to Bay Area patrons since 1972. The menu highlights artfully arranged sushi, fresh grilled seafood, classic Japanese dishes, and vegetarian fare. Patrons can kick off their shoes in the traditional Japanese tatami seating or dine at tables. Expert sushi chefs create sushi and sashimi to order either in the restaurant or in the jazz house. Start the evening in the cocktail lounge before dinner or have a nightcap after taking in a show in the jazz house.

    I love the food at Yoshi's. When deciding where to hear music on any given night, the quality of the restaurant is a positive incentive. Lots of new staff, which can be challenging, but our waiter, who had only been employed at the restaurant for 2 months, was very accommodating. The food has never disappointed.

    We had a very good dinner before the Robert Cray show. There was good sushi, a scallop risotto, tasty ramen, and prices were not unreasonable, but the service only so-so (one of our dinners - the sushi! - came almost 15 mins later than the others). Going for dinner usually gets you seats on the floor for the show, a totally worth it move because the food is always good and the space is so intimate. Robert Cray did not disappoint. Overall an excellent evening.

    Such an enjoyable evening, at the restaurant, food and service is exceptional! Always have enjoyed the menu as well. And when you have tickets you get priority seating. This last Dinner and Show all turned out what I had hoped for. There were 4 people in the party. Can't wait until next time. Thanks Open Table and Yoshi's!!

    I love Yoshis. It's a great place to hang out and watch a game in the bar area or have a fantastic meal or just see a show, the theater is super imitate and fun.

    Very slow service, waited 15 minutes for person to acknowledge, after we asked other servers for help. Overpriced meal. $39.00 for 4 bay scallops and maybe a half cup of risotto. Good flavor.
