Our server was awful. My sister probably would have ordered another appetizer. We probably would have ordered dessert. Or an after dinner drink. But our server was at the hostess stand. What I ate was delicious. I'll give it another chance.

Always have a great time at this restaurant. The duck that evening was exceptional. They also had a fantastic Grand Cru Bordeaux that paired perfectively with it. Can't wait to go back..!

This was our first time at Yolo. We ordered the calamari, Peruvian ceviche, and crab cake entree. The flavor in the ceviche was fantastic and crab cakes had a lot of crab meat, which was awesome. Kevin gave us great service. This a great place and the vibe is nice.
Wife’s dish arrived barely warm. Mine was not cooked to order.
We were there for Easter brunch. It was me, my wife and my 81 yr old mom. We had a great dinner there back in February and wanted to take mom to a great restaurant for Easter brunch.
We first ordered calamari. They do Calamari great! Except it came out cold. Not room temperature cold, but cold. We sent it back. It came back and the bottom pieces were hot, the top pieces were not. Hence they stuck it in the microwave. Lunch came and my moms eggs were cold. My wife’s Swordfish looked like it was leftover pieces.
The manager ended up picking up our entrees, but even at that it wasn’t worth it. Very disappointed.
We’ll be back for drinks but will think twice about ordering food.
I haven’t been here in about ten years. Decided to take my mom and daughter there for Easter brunch. And none of us had a single complaint. Excellent experience

We came in here on a Saturday night the music was extremely loud when we first got there we were four they put us at a table 6 which was much too large so we could not even hear each other we then moved to a table of four which the music was just a loud finally the manager was nice enough to find us a place inside which is what I asked for at the beginning and she said that wouldn’t be possible !!!because of the managers understanding of our problem our husbands were both have hearing problems. thank you to the manager who finally made it possible that we could enjoy our evening. And the waiter iwas extremely nice during. all our table changes

Unfortunately one meal out of four came out cold and the salads that went with the bistro lunches were forgotten. We had to ask for the salads and one was supposed to have no onions but came with onions. We had to send the cold meal back to be reheated. Once the meal was reheated it was fine.
Loud, poor service, bad food, would have had a better meal at a burger King.

We came to YOLO after hearing a lot of positive things. We ordered drinks and appetizers to start. The appetizers came out prior to our drinks, which seemed a bit surprising. The apps were the manchego foam (very good), calamari (fairly good), empanadas (not very good), and the grilled artichoke (had the potential to be good but far too many tough outer leaves to truly enjoy). When the drinks finally came, two martinis were made wrong. When our server, Jessica, was told this, she said she would fix it right away. She came back 10 minutes later with the drinks still made incorrectly. At this point we started to worry about the direction of our night at YOLO. The drinks finally came out correctly and our entrees were decent, not great, but our experience with our server was not good at all. To top it off, three adults and two children were later forced to pay 18% gratuity on very poor service after Jessica was told that she charged us incorrectly for things we didn’t order. Unfortunately, with all of the great restaurants in the Ft. Lauderdale area we will never return to YOLO again, especially after three adults and two children paid $475 for very poor service and essentially a few decent apps but otherwise chain restaurant quality food. You do only live once, so don’t waste your time at YOLO. As an added bonus, if you want your clothes to smell like a fryolator, they offer that for free. Never again!

We’d heard so much about this restaurant and it’s on most of the “best” lists for Ft Lauderdale. With this in mind, it was a disappointment. Our server was excellent, but I doubt we’ll return.
Steak ordered medium was well done. Overall food was not flavorful.
