Yokohama Sushi and Hibachi
Best sushi in the Philadelphia area. Great sevice and bartenders too!
Portions seems little smaller then last visit but over all great food wonderful service
great experience, fabulous sushi dinner.
Consistently fresh and tasty sushi. Friendly, professional service. Can get a little noisy on a busy night when everything is in full swing. Our "go to" place for sushi
Always a great meal. Neighborhood feeling and everyone is so welcoming.
Always great food and service !
Always great food and service
My wife and I only went for Sushi. We didn’t try hibachi so I can’t comment on that.
We were seated promptly and the restaurant was nice and clean. The ambiance was good too. The sushi wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great neither. I’ve had sushi from different places and this sushi could have been better. For example, it was smaller and much less colorful than other sushi I’ve had. We ordered a total of 7 rolls and none of them stood out. Another example is the seaweed holding the rolls together was coming apart before it even got to our table. Last, the flavor was bland. Overall, it was just okay and I wouldn’t go back. There are better options for sushi out there.
Fish was fresh
We have a great time every visit to Yokohama. The Hibachi chefs are skilled and keep the table entertained. It's a little expensive compared to your average sit-down dinner, but the food is always great and the entertainment is worth the extra.
Wonderful place for a celebratory meal. When you chose Hibachi, not only do you get a fine meal, you also get entertainment - watching the chef's magic. The portions are large enough that I always have some to enjoy at home.
I have enjoyed Yokohama for many years with friends and family and have enjoyed every dining experience.
Over all experience was good but the food quality was not worth it. Over price and the food sucks.
Seated 40 minutes after reservation time with others being seated ahead.
Food was AMAZING! Great hibachi experience, you must go and see for yourself.
Good as usual
Love this place. Great food, great drinks, great service. We Eat here once a week usually and it’s always amazing. They are always busy.....a great place close to home.
A great, fun special occasion restaurant.
Best sushi in SJ.
As always this place is an excellent place!
Service & food is always exceptional! We enjoyed an early New Year’s Eve dinner with a large group varying in ages from 8 to 75 years (teppanyaki / hibachi). Yokohama delivered a delicious meal & experience for all in attendance. They excel in quality of food, service and atmosphere!
The sushi is absolutely beautiful and fresh. We have our favorite dishes and have been adventurous and tried new unique dishes. All have been delicious. Never been disappointed.
Always a great meal!! We look forward to dining at Yokohama; overall great dining experience- fresh, delicious food cooked to perfection; warm and inviting atmosphere and staff! Hibachi & sushi are excellent!!
It was Christmas and the restaurant real busy. We were seated right away and our server was attentive
The sushi was fresh and the miso soup was tasty. The teriyaki was good and the chicken was not over overcooked. The meal was good, the service was good.
The overall experience was very good. The sashimi was excellent, but the tempura was not its usual best. Must have been the tempura batter. Despite the minor issue, we like going there and would recommend it.
We have been to Yokohama several times. We always have a wonderful experience. The staff is very friendly, the service is amazing, and the food is wonderful. Thank you for always providing such an fantastic experience!
I’ve always loved this place. The food is great. The service and ambiance are among the best in the area. My wife and I generally sit at the bar. This particular night we shared an Emperor Filet Hibachi and a Holiday roll. The filet was particularly tasty and very tender. The Holiday Roll is my wife’s favorite. The bar staff is always great. I only wish the bar was bigger.
Wonderful experience. Friendly staff. Yummy food.
We came for Christmas Day dinner. The place wasn’t too busy. Waitress was great. Chef was horrible. He did the volcano onion, and no other show. He was very gruff, and not personable. He then stood and stared at us for approximately 2 mins after her cleaned up, in what I would assume was him waiting for a tip.
Steak was over cooked. Everything else was pretty good. Definitely less seasoned than I remember previously. Will unlikely visit this location again.
This was a great location. Hibachi is typically not just a meal but also entertainment - and they delivered! Tasty and wonderful!
Overall, a really good choice for Japanese food. Food and ambiance was pretty good. Grateful they were open for Christmas! Only hiccup was with service but not a big deal. Our primary server was very good but not sure one of the other servers understood us when my dad, who speaks Japanese, asked in Japanese if chefs were able to make a traditional dish of katsudon. They had katsu on the menu but we did not see if they had katsudon, which is basically katsu served with egg over rice. All our food came out in good time and tasted lovely including sashimi, katsu, ika, and miso.
Everything was wonderful!!!!!
Food and service always great. Nice find in a shopping center location. People are very nice highly suggest.
Even though the hostess. Opulent find my open table reservation, our service was amazing and the food is always solid!!! I
Love it here. Food never disappoints. The current holiday roll is amazing.
Always the best dining experience around!!!
The server was great constantly coming by and patient with ordering for my kids. The habachi chef was fantastic however the shrimp were definitely well done purses a nice firm snapping. The food didn't have too much seasoning or flavoring to it except for the filet minion which was phenomenal in flavor, tenderness and fat/grizzle free. It was about $30 per plate, which was the highest I've seen before and the portion was also much smaller. Lastly, they do not serve yum yum sauce as we are used to having at every Hibachi eaten at.
