Good food and great service.
It was a really great time. We went for my son’s birthday and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great entertainment and great good.
We decided to go here for a birthday party of 14 people. We were all able to sit around one table and have great conversations being in a private room. Food was excellent and the chef's made it a great experience.
Food was fantastic. Great little bar.
The sushi was excellent but the service was poor. Had to wait more than an hour for sushi rolls to be made and get to the table.
Helen was our server, she was excellent. The chef was fun, doing his thing with knives, food, and fire. There was a family at our Hibachi table, everyone was so friendly at our table, we are all there for a different kind of sit down entertaining dinner, not disappointed!
We come here frequently, because of the incredibly kind staff, and mostly, of course, because of the amazing food!!! Everything is very fresh and delicious, every single time! Love the lunch specials, very great deal, and the drinks are always wonderful. Can’t wait to be back.
We have tried all the other Sushi restaurants in the south jersey area and none of them compare to Yokohama. Everything is fantastic.
Excellent food.. Sushi fresh and flavorful.. well wrapped and presentation was inviting! Wife had Habachi food to regular table and as always delicious and we’ll prepared!
Skip the “brand chains” and give this place a go.. you won’t regret it!
Best and most authentic Japanese food in this area. So many choices too. We go as often as we can. Great staff and fun environment.
Fun and entertaining. Habachi is a bit pricey, but worth it for the show on a special occasion.
My experience with the staff leading up to the meal and after was not great. I received a call about an hour before the meal say “I expect you’ll be on time, we are busy”. Very unprofessional, and not how I have ever been treated before. As a note we arrived 15 minutes before our reservation. We were not welcomed into the place, just who are you and grumbled and sat us down. I feel like the place does like online reservations, if that is the case however why accept them. Then the table next to us gets their bill and was told they can’t tip on card. That is a lie, and the restaurant just wants cash tips. I paid cash to avoid this(thankfully I had cash). Once our waiter came over, he was great and was very attentive the entire time. Then the chef came out and put on a very good show and served an amazing meal(probably one of the best hibachi meals I have ever had). Then it was back to the service at the front, got the check was being hovered over for it and then got pushed out the door. It was not busy, and I feel like an amazing experience was destroyed by the lady at the front desk. Due to this I can not recommend this place and will not be returning. I had high expectations based on the reviews on multiple sites. It’s a shame too because the food was awesome!
The sushi is fresh and all of the food was delicious
I have enjoyed meals at Yokohama for years but this time we were rushed throughout the entire meal. Our waiter was clearly in a hurry to “turn” his table. Very disappointing.
Too bright. Too cold. Very rushed service. Not worth it at all.
It wasn't bad and it was't good. Average Hibachi at the most. The food was good but not extrordinary.
One of my favorite sushi restaurants. Always attentive, fresh an d delish!!!
Consistently good food and service. Love this place!
Great hidden gem in a strip mall. Have been coming here for years with and without kids. Never disappoints.
Always our spot for Japanese food . Sushi tempura salad soups all great. Nice place has a vat with good selection of beers and drinks. Highly recommend
So good. Great service. Very nice and polite. Funny cooks
Always enjoy going to Yokohama for the freshest sushi around. Wait staff are always attentive and sushi chefs do a great job. Quick lunches also make the wrk day go quicker as well.
I have been to Yokohama a handful of times. This past time I went for New Years Eve dinner. I made a reservation so we were seated in a timely manner. Unfortunately, our soup and salad came out while the hibachi was being prepared. It was very cold in there too, my group was very uncomfortable. The food was good as always though and the entertainment was good as well.
My experience was not good unfortunately. The server was very nice and the chef was was funny and entertaining however the food was not good. My rice was hard and crunchy and food did not have much flavor. The worst part was...the chef put my shrimp on someone else’s plate by accident. Instead of making me some new shrimp he took off what was on their plate and put it on mine. This was terrible and I never experienced anything like it!!! This has got to be the worst hibachi restaurant I have been to in the East Coast. I give it a 2 out of 5 stars only because the experience made my kids laugh and the server was very nice but really deserved a zero. :(
My family and I went to your restaurant this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and did not have a pleasant experience because it was extremely cold ( the AC was running) because we were sitting under a vent above the Hibachi table. It was actually freezing, I had to wear my very warm winter coat while eating and the woman sitting behind me had to put her fur coat on, while she ate dinner! And a elderly man sitting near us told us when he was leaving that he was very cold the whole time he was eating, but he didn't say anything to the personnel. Also we waited about 45 mins for the hibachi chef to start cooking, and our table had been full of people since we sat down. Now, my husband did complain to someone at the hostess desk and we were given 3 $10 coupons. I certainly hope our next dining experience goes a whole lot better than this one.
Yokohama has been our favorite Japanese cuisine for years. Absolutely the best sushi we have tasted. Super fresh. Consistent quality. Nice service
Great food great ambiance
We booked here last minute on Christmas Day for dinner. The food was fresh and delicious! Will be coming back next time we visitmy parents.
The best hibachi experience I've ever had in South Jersey. Food was extremely fresh and delicious, and chef did not use a ton of oil or butter like most, so that kept the food from feeling heavy.
Felt rushed, no one was waiting for a table when we left. Food was good.
Book for a holiday get together with friends. The staff made it enjoyable for everyone. We hope we weren’t too loud for the other diners. I’d book it again!
We've loved Yokohama for many years, since before it expanded to Hibachi and the bar.
The waitresses fawned over our toddler son when we brought him with a Happy Meal and
enjoyed our Saturday evening dinners. He eventually tried salmon sashimi and has been
draining our wallet ever since. We've celebrated special occasions in the private back room and will do so again. We all love the quality at Yokohama and they continue to remember our family. Our son celebrated his 16th at the Sushi Bar and loved it.
The staff seemed to try and rush us to order. We did not even get settled in at the table and open our menus when the waiter started asking us what we wanted to eat. Food was good but I would not recommend the restaurant.
Great cook. Fun and tasty.
Always the best place for sushi or hot japanese food. Menu has manynew items that we try and have to like the bar drinks. Highly reccomend
My family has been dining at Yokohoma for about 10 years. Authentic Japanese food and a great sushi bar. We are never disappointed. Both Cindy and Ken are always visible and their staff is great. Kudos to the bar staff! Great drinks and great personalities. Our favorite chef, Denny, is the best. We've celebrated numerous birthdays, anniversaries, get togethers and major family events. You and your family will love it.
Good food. Good family fun! The chef was fun, lively, and accommodating.
