This is the one stop in Texas you don't want to miss. Being one of the nation's biggest cattle ranches makes us the top authority when it comes to beef. We can accommodate private parties from 15 to 300 all done in an upscale Texas style!View Private Dining Details
All good except my pecan pie came hot and I eat it cold. Next time ask me if I was it heated so I won’t burn my mouth.
The blueberry cheesecake was amazing-my colleague loved it.
Just recommend you ask if you want your pecan pie hot or cold.
Year in and year out this is my favorite DALLAS restaurant. Not a chain and not trendy, authentic Texas ranch decor and ambiance. The menu is constantly tweaked to provide new twists on old favorites. Clearly best in town for a “Taste of Texas”
Delicious steak and cocktails! House salad is perfect. Interesting history also.
It was our wedding anniversary and since we have kids we decided to have lunch here. Glad we picked this spot. Even though it wasnt a kids friendly restaurant, they were super nice and ready to help us with our 7month old baby. The server was very sweet and the floor manager was very helpful and friendly. The food we had Ripeye steak and buffalo Filet Mignon in medium. It was a little more rare than we would have liked. However the meats were so tender it was our first time that didn’t mind midium rare. It was just so tender and so good!!!! Can’t wait to go back.
From the cocktails to the steak and wild game options, everything was delicious. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.
Amazing food and service! The best buffalo filet mignon, quail, and ny strip ever!
We had a fantastic experience at YO Steakhouse. We really appreciated the friendly and prompt service. Tomas was extremely attentive and personable. We will definitely visit again.
Everything was amazing. I rarely find a place that I couldn't give at least one critique to. Server was friendly and helpful recommending things to do. Food was on point. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend.
It was wonderful. Tomas was our server and he truly made the experience! He was friendly, funny, knew the menu and really took care of his customers!
I feel bad having to rate the food as low as I did, but having a $100 tomahawk poorly butchered in front of us, then sit while plates are gathered, wait even longer because they didn't have steak knives, and finally served to us completely cold, was really depressing. Bringing my friend to her first steak house visit on her first day to ever step foot in Texas was embarrassing.
I ordered the second most expensive cabernet by the glass, but they presented it to us was the "house cab," then when I asked them about it they didn't go check or say the correct order, they just changed their story and said yes it was "that one, the one you ordered." Then after all that, I would put money on it being a pinot noir considering the light fruity profile.
The wait staff also cleared every plate, glass, and utensil the second it was emptied or no longer in use, so it was very distracting to have even short conversations.
We didn't feel welcomed, more like we were being rushed out. Considering I knew my friend Our reservation was at 8:30, and tables were still being seated as we were being pressured to leave.
Our group of 9 had a truly great experience! Service was spot on - attentive without crowding or hovering, and very knowledgeable. The venison rollups and fritters were excellent appetizers and the Game Trio Platter was outstanding! Included buffalo steak, venison chop, and quail medallion. Also good selection of family style sides. Definitely recommend!
Excellent service and outstanding food.
Food was amazingly tasty! Love the atmosphere of the place. Our waiter was a bit weird, but overall great service!
Ordered steaks with two sides, spinach and the mushroom bread pudding. Everything was extremely salty!! Ordered the pecan pie for dessert, was served warm, but had more of a sweet potatoe texture, coffee latte was cold. We have eaten at other steak restaurants that compared in price and was much better.
I’ve been here multiple times. Every time the food has been great. I love the ambiance of the place; it’s fine dining with a side of casual.
Wonderful place , wonderful meal. Attentive staff and spot on service. Food was amazing and server went above and beyond in suggestions and descriptions . I will be back when I come back to Dallas next time.
Great place for game. The steak my wife had was good but all three cuts in the game mixed grill were excellent. Not as expensive as the steakhouse where we normally dine. Will definitely visit again.
No one does exotic game better. Country fried quail, venison, bison filet...all delicious. Perfectly cooked. Portion size was plenty. A wonderful Friday night business meal in the heart of Dallas. End the meal with the bread pudding, you won't be disappointed, but you'll need to share because it's big.
I was very disappointed with this restaurant experience. After researching this restaurant I had high expectations but that quickly dissipated. They were late seating us and then seated us in a very poor, low energy area of the restaurant - like we were an afterthought. The service was brutally slow - they said it was because they were busy, but they really weren't that busy by the looks of it. Not a place I'd highly recommend for a business dinner .... if I were you I'd seriously consider finding another spot.
Food was great. Unfortunately, I had to wait for 20 mins...even with a reservation.
EVERYTHING about this place was great and the server was so nice and so helpful.
Great steaks, you can't go wrong with any of the Angus cuts. Service was good too. Not a quiet restaurant by any means, it gets nosiy
Good casual steakhouse, excellent food
The buffalo and venison were so good and the service was absolutely amazing. For such a busy place they were attentive and so personable. Will definitely be back when in Dallas again!
enjoyed the unique offerings of "wild" meats: bison filet, venison chop, and quail. Bartender was great, and she makes a fantastic Old Fashioned. Rough area though, take an Uber
We’re never disappointed, we love this place! The food is unbelievable and the service is so nice and welcoming!
Food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. It is pricey but I believe you get what you pay for. I got the wild game plate which was excellent. My wife got the petite rib-eye which was still more than she could eat. While being on the expensive side, the wait staff make sure you understand exactly what you are getting. Our waiter took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all questions. Overall, our experience was very good and would go back for other special occasions.
The food was great and the service was out of this world!!
Thomas took great care of us, highly recommend!!
We had a great time. The food was great and my customer loved it.
Amazing good, mixed grill appetizer was amazing, mixed grill entree was fantastic which included the buffalo filet and all other steak dishes were cooked perfectly. Mac and Cheese side and fries were delicious, whenever I come to Dallas I make sure to stop in.
The steaks were different and I think that was a good thing. I could literally taste the grass that the cow ate. I don’t not like it. I wasn’t amazed by the taste, I had a NY Prime Strip Steak. It wasn’t the best and it wasn’t the worst. It was acceptable.
Table layout was great for our dinner meeting! Food was spectacular.
Great food, great service and good wine list. Be sure to try the Tabasco Grits!
The staff was amazing!!! The food was excellent and loved that it was large portions. And they recommended we split the sides .
We chose YO because it was close to House of Blues. We loved the casual atmosphere, and loved that we still had first-class service and food. Tadlock was knowledgeable, accurate, and friendly. A wonderful experience!
Fantastic steak, fair prices and really good service. The only complaint I have is that the steamed asparagus had hollandaise sauce (ick) and it wasn't mentioned on the menu, it just said steamed asparagus, so that was a huge letdown. I should have sent it back, but I always feel guilty to do that so I just didn't eat it.
Love the atmosphere and the food was amazing. Service was good, once we were acknowledged. We sat alone in a back room for almost 15 minutes with nobody speaking to us and It took someone getting up from the table and going around the corner (where we could see and hear serval wait staff) to ask for service to get someone to even offer us water. Have not had this type experience before here so maybe it was an off night but bothersome nonetheless
I hosted a group of 9 people for a business meal. Everyone was thoroughly pleased with their meal. Our server, John, was simply outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Dallas.
Great food and service!
The deer was good, but the elk was great. Try the antelope appetizer.
