Chicken marinated overnight in yogurt, ginger, and garam masala. Roasted in the tandoori until lightly smoked.
Minced chicken mixed with himalayan spices wrapped in flour dough, steamed in newari style and served with somname mint sauce.
Mildly spiced lamb curry slowly cooked in creamy onion gravy.
Superb food! Very pleasant and helpful people
sitting outside on the lawn with the chairs sinking in was not the best experience, so look forward to going back when we can sit inside. robin was very friendly and hospitable in all dealings, the food seasoned well and very tasty. the palau was overpriced and bland with little flavor.
Our favorite Indian food in Santa Rosa. Always fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. Portions are very generous.
We had a lovely lunch on the covered patio. It had been some time since we had eaten at Yeti but the food was just as good as we remembered. The chicken Momo and Tandoori chicken were both excellent. We are going again tomorrow and bringing a friend!
Very good for take-out during pandemic . The curries are very tasty.
Dine in was not available!
Dol pot soup and lamb korma: delicious.
We loved Yeti! My kids live a mile away and want to go back for Happy Hour! Very authentic food, locally sourced ingredients, fab micro-brew beer, and we could actually carry on a conversation.
My first visit...lovely decor...our server deserves 10 stars! Enjoyed the food.
The food is great (including the Thai Iced Tea which is delicious), the ambience is perfect (they keep the music at a low volume so table talk is easy, and the music choice is good), and we were pleased with the service we got.
Our go-to place for real Indian/Nepalese using the best ingredients. Saturdays they have (American) jazz combo playing softly which makes for a great date night out.
Our overall experience was very pleasant. Everyone from our hostess to wait staff was very friendly. Yeti Has a very nice wine selection and our food came out in a timely manner. We will definitely return and recommend Yeti to our friends. Thank you Yeti for a lovely dining experience.
People are super nice but the service is terrible it takes forever to get a waiter to come to the table.
The staff was so accommodating and wonderful. The food was excellent and the location was perfect. Super cute place.
This was our fourth time here, always enjoy the curries and the nan.
Atmospheric location by old water mill plus interesting decor. Sound nepalese cooking made for an all round pleasant experience.
Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. A bit pricy, but very enjoyable overall.
The menu is quite varied. You have choices of food from very mild, to mildly spicey, and the waiter
did a very nice job explaining. Portion sizes were quite filling.
The bar prices are reasonable.
Great atmosphere, friendly waitstaff and delicious food! We’ve been coming here for years and it is a family favorite.
We have LOVED Yeti for years -- both of the restaurants. This time, the service at the Santa Rosa place was SLOW in a rather empty restaurant, and the lunch specials were salty -- not our usual Yeti!
Great happy hour. Lots of food selections and decent beer and wine selection.
I have been coming to Yeti's with two groups to which I belong, one of which I coordinate and select the restaurant for over two years. The food has always been good and the noise level is usually not much of a problem. However, the service is your weak spot. In particular, there's a woman who waits tables who seems to have a chip on her shoulder. Sometimes she argues with customers about what they can or can't eat. When customers want individual checks, she drags her feet. She's just not cooperative.
The last time I was there with a group, I tried, as usual, to get Basmati rice (which is on your menu) instead of the white or brown rice she always tries to bring. Basmati rice is yellow, not white or brown. The white stuff is tasteless; the brown stuff is bitter. Basmati rice has a taste, but it's not bitter. That's why I always order it. If you didn't have it on the menu, I would understand that you didn't offer it. However, you do. I've checked the menus three times to be sure I'm right. Guess what? She brought white rice instead. Surprise! She didn't do what I asked yet one more time.
The waitress is surly, impatient, and uncooperative. She's middle-aged and average height, so she has no unusual characteristics I can give you. I usually bring groups in over the noon hour and occasionally at the dinner hour. I only remember seeing her over the lunch hour. I don't know whether she doesn't like European-Americans, doesn't like men, doesn't like older people or what it is that's sticking in her craw about waiting on the groups I bring to your restaurant. What I do know is that something's wrong with her. I'm asking you to try to fix the situation before I have to start taking groups to one of your competitors. If it weren't for your employee's behavior, I wouldn't have any reason to make a change. I started by hoping she was just having a bad day, but it looks like all of her days are bad. Help!
Graduation dinner for 9. Everything was ready when we arrived and food fantastic as always.
Great ambience and service. Me being an Indian, I did not find some of the food items great. But over all very good. Naans were super soft, pakora was very good, chicken was great.
When people pay for a buffet they expect all the warmers have food in them and with quality food at all times. We had to wait for tandori chicken for a while since they ran out.
I was reared in Asian and have found most South Asian restaurants to be mediocre. Now whenever I’m Passing through Santa Rosa I eat at The Yeti. It is worth the few minutes off US 101.
We had made a reservation for Mother’s Day way in advance. We were disappointed because there was no table reserved and, had to wait for a table to be cleaned next to the restrooms. The restaurant was very crowded and disorganized, food at the buffet wasn’t ready fast enough to satisfy customers demands. The food was good like we were expecting but there were not many options available.
Food was fabulous, but I would recommend more training for the staff. Our check was presented without asking if we were interested in dessert.
Excellent food and bar
Service was really slow and it took a long time to get our food but when it arrived it was delicious
Wonderful food, service and ambiance. We enjoyed our meal, and hung around to listen to some great live dinner jazz that was present, but not intrusive. Excellent menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Servers were friendly, and efficient. Can't wait to go back!
Probably the best Indian/Nepalese food I’ve ever had.
Delicious food as usual. Our "to go" place for Indian food. For some reason service was not up to par this time. We ate our meal off salad plates since no regular size dinner plates were brought to our table when the meal was served. Perhaps they need an extra dish washer?
Our experience at Yeti was wonderdul. They had some of the best Indian food we’ve ever had. There was very nice live jazz music and the interior was tastefully decorates and comfortable. We ate dinner at Yeti with 3 adults and one child. We will go again and would recommend Yeti to anyone who likes Indian food.
A really classy, excellent Nepalese Indian restaurant. Never disappoints.
Over all the food was good, but the service wait time for your food is lacking; too slow. We were the second group to arrive for opening time (5:00P.). First order of food arrived at 5:55. That is a long time for an appetizer. There were several other people that arrived after we had and their order arrived before ours.
Great happy hour. The eggplant and potato dish was awesome
Always good food and excellent service
There was 1 server for the whole restaurant at lunch so even though there were only 6 parties in the entire place, the service was extremely slow and lackluster. Even when the server stopped by, she was not helpful. We asked what the difference is between the Nepalese version and Indian version of the same named dish and she responded that one was from Nepal. No recommendations, no ability to talk about the food, and no follow up. We would’ve preferred ordering on an iPad. If the service was better, I would return.
