The food and service are predictably good. We have been here several times and it's our go-to for Indian/Nepalese food. The garlic cilantro naan is excellent. The curries are delicious, but could be a little hotter (I'm sure you could ask to raise the heat).

I absolutely love this restaurant. They never disappoint. The food is excellent, in my opinion the best Indian food in this area. The service is always on point and they go out of their way to work with anyone's food preferences.
We went for "restaurant week" and the quantity and quality of food they served on the special menu was outstanding.

We had the mixed tandoori dish and it was very flavorful. The fish chunks were a little overdone but the flavors were good. I wish they offered mint tea on their menu.

This is my absolute favorite Indian food in the north bay, by far. Great place to enjoy an evening, with delicious food.

My first time, wife's second. Well worth the trip. Excellent authetic food. Thoughtful service in great setting. Foods served mild but will spice it up if you ask. Don't know India foods, start here and it will set the standard.

We were looking forward to eating here as we had heard good things about it. The food was excellent, but the service and ambiance needs serious work.

When we arrived for a 7pm reservation on Valentine's Day, we were unclear where we supposed to check in. There was a bar table inside the front door, but no one around or anywhere to sit, so we walked down into one of the dining rooms and stood there. Once no one helped us, we walked outside to the patio dining. When a server was done taking an order, we told her we had a reservation, and she sat us in a corner by the formerly bar. There menus, glasses, and other stuff piled up all over the bar so it was unusable.

It took awhile for the server to come over and take our order, then another 15 min for the appetizer to come out. It was delicious. No one came by do check on us till the dinner arrived, which was delicious! Again, minimal check-in on us after. We had to flag down for water refills. When done, we waited there quite awhile, then finally flagged down our waitress for our check.

This small place would be awesome if they considered cleaning up the place a bit and what the diners see when they dine. Also, a small sign at the door that says please wait here to be seated would help. Lastly, the service needs an overhaul. The food is so delicious, and we would easily eat here more often as we live in the area. We felt ignored and unimportant to this restaurateur, which is disappointing.

Thursday early evening, quiet, only 2 other tables occupied.
Staff friendly, efficient and food was very good.
Had Tandori Chicken and Chicken curry dish.
Tandori (Breast of Chicken in chunks) came out on a steaming tray and had a wonderful smoked BBQ flavor!
Curry Chicken was a bit on the small portion side and I was glad I ordered rice, it lived up to any other curry dishes I had in the past tho.
Atmosphere is nice with Nepalese decor...had a friendly vibe.
Would go back.

Fantastic food, The naan was out of this world and sauces also yummy. Even having to drive there in a storm was well worth. Look forward to going back

Love this jewel of an Indian restaurant. I found it by accident on a visit to Glen Ellen now I can't be near and not go to enjoy their delicious food! If you are a lover of Indian food I highly recommend Yeti!

The most delicious Indian\Napalese food I've ever had. A fantastic menu with something for everyone from the heartiest carnivore to the most faithful vegitatian. Ding with my husband and dear friends we had some of everything. I had the eggplant and potatoe masala and it was mouthwatering. All of us shared two different types of naan bread. I could eat my weight in that stuff, it's that good.

The staff were very attentive and the food came quickly. Very reasonable, especially for what you get. The location is great as well, nestled into a charming area of Glen Ellen with the option of heated patio seating as well.

A must try.

Have experienced Yeti several times. Food as always was exceptional. Service was rude.
We arrived 10 minutes early for our Open Table reservation. Staff would not acknowledge the reservation and ultimately agreed to seat us in a last used room that was horribly hot. After showing that I had an emailed confirmation of the reservation they moved us to a table on the patio. Note that the restraint was only about half full.
Love the food. If we didn't , we would have walked out.

Yeti was a wonderful surprise. Lovely location, out on the deck, overlooking a creek, amidst trees and flowering plants; just beautiful. Had a nice lunch with family and friends. Everything we ordered was quite tasty, from the biryani to the yummy naan...all delicious. The waitress was quite nice and checked in with us often, but there was a it of a communication gap. Not a big problem...you just need to be explicit in asking any questions about the dishes and how they are prepared. All in all, a great experience here, would go again and recommend to others.

As always, the food was outstanding! We were so happy to have been able to sit outside on their lovely patio and celebrate my husbands birthday. We really enjoyed the live sitar music, especially our son. Wanted to stay longer but it was rather chilly outside. My only suggestion would be to add another patio heater. Other than that, it was perfect! Can't wait until next time!

Dined with friends who are real Indian foodies and were delighted to find many favorites on the menu. They ooohed and aaahed as they tasted everything. Nice presentation - naan is a sculpture; seasonings sparkled. Seemed a bit bland to my taste but still delicious. Fresh.
Only complaint was a less than inspired wine list. OK, but this is wine country. Prices fair, though.

We were told this was the place to go, but in five years we only heard that once, so we were surprised at the recommndation. So, we tried it. Beautiful spot.

Ordered Fish Tikka: totally overcooked and tasted like the top layer of the water at a marina. A lot of brown flesh on the bottom of all pieces making it over-fishy as well.

Dahl: tasted mostly like water and lacked any kind of seasoning at all.

Saag Paneer, hardly any spinach or cheese, and the paneer is better at costco (or Himalaya in town).

Rice was remarkably watery and bland, no cardamum.

Good: Raita and Onion Bhaji appetizer.

They recooked another piece of fish for us, but for some reason that took about 15 minutes and we were done, so we got the check before the fish. When the waitress noticed we didn't want to take home the full order of dahl (or any of it for that matter, but leaving the fish would have been rude), she acknowledged through facial expression and body language that we had just paid $80 for nothing, basically. She said, "Next time... (gibberish, gibberish)." And we thought, what, next time you'll tell us the food is no good? Ha ha!

I FINALLY made it to Yeti in Glen Ellen. I met my husband there for lunch on the back deck. It was a lovely day. Since it was outside and not crowded the scene was relaxed and warm. The food here is so very good! We had the lunch special which was a huge tray with several dishes and the lamb tikka masala. I'm not usually over the top about lentils and saag but both were very good! The saag paneer was a favorite of mine. We kind of politely fought over the naan. Great naan! The tandoori chicken was also on point. Tasted like tandoori, not just fake rub. Nicely spiced! As for service, our waiter was polite and available and helpful from the moment we arrived. All in all a great meal. We will be back!

The kitchen at this restaurant must have a very small stove. We waited forever for our food. The food was good, but not worth that wait. Pass on the desert which was a rock solid frozen ice cream & not that great! The chai tea was not that spicy. Tables with large groups seemed to get the attention with multiple dishes being delivered, but if you are a table of just 2--go someplace else, or take a snack with you.
