We gave the Plum one last shot and it will definitely be the last. Saturday night and only one other table filled that should have been a sign. The waitress was a sweetheart but definitely new at the job. Appetizers looked like they came out of a box and the steak was terrible. Complete 180 from when it first opened. I cant see myself going back.

Service was poor....Ravioli special was cold and the Steak Frites was a not a very good steak. Very disappointed.

The service and ambiance were nice but the food was subpar. They should match the quality with their prices. The lobster slider was fishy and the rib eye didn't have much flavor. I thought the list of draft beers was odd abs charging $8 for a Guinness is nuts!

Great food, top notch service and a lively bar scene in an area desperately in need of one. Also hosts specialty events like movie night and local musical acts which make it so much more than just a great restaurant.

When we arrived it was unclear where to go to meet the hostess, we were however promptly sat and someone grabbed our drink order. Both drink were not made very well including one of their signature cocktails, eponymously, the yellow plum. The atmosphere was a bit too casual and there were hoagies and other pub fare that seemed to don most of the diners plates. Which made me think this place could not be expected of more than a "nice" diner.

The food was ok, fresh but definitely not worth the price. We had individual salads, the Caesar dressing tasted like garlic mayonnaise, the beet salad was overdressed, but presented nice. Bother sliders were randomly brought out as an intermezzo, not much to be expected at $5 each.

Wine was a bit tinny and needed some time to breathe.

The mains were nothing to write home about.

Bottom line we could have gone to a byo next door for half the price and a much more delicious meal. Additionally, when comparing atmospheres there are much better options nearby via diners or American pub fare.

Best bet if you would like to try this place would be best to do so outside when the weather breaks, for lunch.

Ordered drinks and an appetizer for the table. We got the appetizer before our drinks. The lemon chicken was tough and ordered a side of grilled spinach. Did not get it and when we asked said sorry so we cancelled it and they brought out creamed spinach about 10 minutes later and told them we didn't want creamed spinach. Forgot to take it off the bill the pasta was good but for what you got not worth it. the fish & chips was ok but the fries were soggy. The burger was ok but the tater tots seemed like they came out of a bag from shop rite. No need to go back again!!!!!!!! Not worth the price.

Would definitely go back. Menu is a little hard to choose from I think they are trying to cover all bases. Only thing I would change is the "server" who after a table left sprayed it many times with some awful smelling chemical to clean. I appreciate the clean table but not while I'm trying to eat.
Little thing that could be changed easily.

This is a wonderful place to go for a creative menu that is well executed, but that doesn't get carried away with itself. The waitstaff is always enthusiastic about providing great service. (Soon to be a legend, Matt, in particular, is very attentive and scary-good at remembering a patron and his/her food and cocktail preferences!) Elegant and casual atmosphere, welcoming staff, and satisfying food.

We enjoyed Yellow Plum the other night. We shared several appetizers, which were off of a very eclectic menu. Four of us shared apps ranging from fried calamari, to crab cake sliders, to short rib quesadillas and all were delicious. I would recommend this if you wanted to share many apps and have light bar fare. The service was very positive and pleasant and out waitress made great recommendations on how many items to order and which items to have to mix it all up. Very tasty.

I really love the food at Yellow Plum. The staff as noted in other reviews is somewhat inexperienced but very pleasant and accommodating.
My daughter had 3/4 of her Rib dinner left on her plate. Server asked if she would like that to take home and then proceeded to forget. As we were leaving after dessert and settling the bill, we asked where the ribs were and the server said she didn't think we wanted them. really? Who leaves that much food?
She sweetly offered to order another dinner to take with us which was the right thing to do but we decided not to wait.

My husband and I ate here because of an Amazon local promotion we had. After tasting the food we will be back again. We got appetizers, the mac and cheese is worth a trip back alone as are the empanadas. The ribs I had were mouth-watering, the only thing I wasn't crazy about were the collard greens & grits that came with my meal. But my husband's farafalle pasta was equally delicious so we are planning on coming back to taste all the apps they have.

I like this place. It looks very nice and neat on the outside. They have a nice candle on the table. The service is fast and friendly. The food is tasty. They do not have a lot on the menu but what they do have is different. They could use more options . They have take out. A nice long bar which is nice.

The menu is very limited withore beef than most and less fish... Only salmon was offered as an entree non meat .... We actually had difficulty finding something to eat here and ended up with soup as an appetizer which was very good but would not prdinary be my first choice .... Entrees--salmon and short ribs -- good but home made peanut butter ice cream was the highlight IMHO..... Think I would go back for happy hour and appetizers but not for dinner.

Would recommend. Very good food. Very good service. Very nice ambience. Able to get table on a Saturday night last minute but place was by no means empty. Crowded but not jam packed. Nice vibe in the place. If I am in the area again I would go back. Only knock I would give is menu a little heavy on the deep fried options.

The food certainly hit the Mark. The service was young and very under-trained. It was hotter than hades in there and when we asked about the temp the hostess was kind but looked like a deer in headlights at the request. On a positive note the chicken lollipops were fantastic and the music was amazing. I just can't enjoy anything in the setting of bikram yoga.

This restaurant is always such a treat to go to. Food is always consistently great. I can't get enough of the chicken lollipops or the Caesar salad. I recently tried the linguine and clams and I was blown away by how good it was. It was NOT drowning in garlic which is how this dish is prepared many other places. Just a perfect meal every time!
