We've been here a number of times before. This evening was a special occasion &they helped to take care of us. Food was serve promptly w
polite attentive service, the food was really delicious nothing was over cooked, sometimes kabobs can be over spiced and dried out but not here. . .was cooked to tender perfection, everyone was happy, we were party of 6. We had salmon, chicken/lamb combo & marinated sliced steak. Desert and coffee. One special wout any onions accommodated without any onion flavor that u sometimes get when they just remove them. Oh there soups are delish!

Ever since 1998, which is when I first came to the restaurant, I have travelled 110 miles from Richmond once or twice a month and try to bring friends along to show them the quality of the food.

We have eaten at Kabobi many times. The Persian food has never disappointed and the market next door to buy dates and pistachios is top notch!

Excellent authentic Persian cuisine. The Mughlai cuisine (more spicy) in India was derived from this cuisine. Very reasonable prices, very good value for the money. Don't expect the ambience of a five star restaurant, think more of a happy community gathering -- it is attached to a Persian grocery store (interesting to visit.)

Went for lunch with a friend on a Friday. Service was quick and portions were generous. Delicious food and enjoyed the red wine that was recommended by the server. Will be back!

We love Yekta! They love kids and they have some items that my kids adore -- yogurt sauce with cucumbers is a huge hit. We like the ground beef kabobs and rice. We recently tried the ground chicken kabobs and they are delish too. The store next door that has middle eastern foods is an added bonus and we often pop over there for some dessert.

We ate late so noise level may be louder than our experience. Friendly service, good Persian food. Entree portion was huge but tasty. Prices reasonable.

This visit to Yetka was as good as always. We both had the salmon kabob. Very flavorful.
The Armenian wine we had with the meal was also very good. Not sure what we expected, but it is a good value wine.

Yekta is one of my favorite kabob places in the DMV area. The decor is gorgeous, I've yet to see another Persian kabob place with this gorgeous of an interior. The barg is sooo good and the ice cream sandwich here is to die for. Will be coming back :)

Excellent food, nice people. Service is pretty efficient. The only issue is that the noise level can be high. So it's difficult to have conversations across a big table.

What a good value this restaurant is. The food is more than plentiful and very tasty. The service was slow and you have to be prepared for that. They clearly need another waiter.

Food and service were great. So noisy my wife and I, seated next to each other, could not carry on a normal conversation with each other or our server. Restaurant obviously likes it this way because it has been in business for many years and has made zero effort to reduce noise. Every surface is hard from floor to walls to furnishings to ceiling. We will not be returning any time soon.

3rd or 4th time we've visited - we've loved the food every time. This was a farewell to departing friends, so we wanted it to be at one of favorite places. Yekta didn't disappoint.
Food is exactly what you'd expect from a traditional Persian restaurant - no surprises, just great food (and service).

Prior to dining, we visited their market next door, which is full of all kinds of Middle Eastern food products. An education in itself. I started with a tasty eggplant spread called Mirza Ghasemi. We then had some small dishes called Kookoo Sabzi (an herb frittata - on the bland side) and Olivieh ( a Persian potato salad - YUM). Main course was a Lamb Kabob with a special rice with lentils and raisins. Really, really good, We had a nice bottle of Greek white wine, and an after dinner Greek wine called Mavrodaphne. All in all, a fun and delicious dining experience.

Love Persian cuisine. Great place to get Shirin rice, our favorite. Not many other places have it. Took my mother for Mother's Day, and she loved the lamb chops. I had the salmon kabob. It was perfect. We both had enough to take home for another meal. They gave my mother a rose stem at the end of the meal. Nice touch. The waitress was lovely, and the food was delicious.

I went to this restaurant for Mother's Day and it was quite disappointing. We were seated in the middle of the room squished between other tables, it was loud, and the food was horrible. We typically enjoy ethnic cuisines, however, we will never go here again. I ordered kabobs and instead of pieces of meat on a skewer, they served rows of meat that seemed like ground meat with a sponge-like texture. The meat was salty and I was drinking water all day from getting dehydrated. The rice was extremely dry.

The service from our waiter (from Mexico) was excellent and the dishes fine. Everyone liked their meal although the Jewel rice would be better with non-sweetened cranberries. This would be a restaurant I could go back to often, the dome and wall painting creates a lovely atmosphere, but for the noise level when the tables are full. As the crowd thinned out, conversations without raised voices were possible.

Food was good, but not worthy of the very high praise I saw on opentable. Service was a bit uneven. I would go back, but there are other kabob places I've liked better.
