I like it here but I think they rush the food too much and we were one of the only tables there. They barely let you finish the apps when they started clearing the table for the next course. We still had food in our mouth and on our plates. Then the mains came fast. No rush after dinner to leave.

We had a reservation for 7:30 and they were not able to seat us when we arrived. We waited and finally were seated but in the back of the restaurant in the garden area. There was a light that was so bright and my dinner guest asked if there was any way to turn it down and he said it was the wrong bulb but nothing they could do. It was like sitting under a spotlight. In addition there was a fly that was pestering us which seems crazy because it was 35 degrees out! But the worst part was they placed us in that back room and basically forgot about us. We literally passed on dessert because we didn’t want our server to disappear like he had all night and leave us waiting for service. Food is good but service was really lacking and kind of ruined the experience.

It was a charming place, with very attentive waiters and authentic Greek cuisine. I had a Moussaka, which was tastefully made with a light potato mash. Presentation and taste were well done, which made me wish to know English better so I could describe it. Service was visible but pleasant, never felt rushed or like we were in a hurry. This was a serene Greek food experience.

Yefsi continues to be the go to restaurant for me and my wife. I had the baked feta and the Lavraki fish. My wife had the spanakopita and shrimp appetizer and we finished the meal with a shared Greek yogurt. Everything we had was wonderful as well as the Greek wines!

Yefsi is getting its game back, after a post pandemic slump. We had excellent seafood entrees last night that all four of us enjoyed. Service was attentive. Just the bread was a bit stale. It's one of our neighborhood favorites and we will be back!

Have always enjoyed this restaurant, but we seem to have experienced an off night. The food was very good, but as with all good restaurants during this ongoing Pandemic, prices are high and portions are skimpier. Service was rushed and detracted from a much needed evening of relaxation.

The food was very good calamari appetizer was generous and excellent. A certain amount of upselling going on but, hey…I’m a big girl. I can resist. The upsell was worth it! Succulent lamb chops. Everyone enjoyed their meals. A certain amount of sticker shock - I guess related to dining on the Upper East Side of New York. The wine cost about 8 times what we would pay in a liquor store in Canada. We’re used to maybe 40% markup when dining out. This seemed excessive. But, basically a great evening. It’s only money!

We dined outside. The servers (manager at times) were very attentive. The Shrimp Santorini and the Greek salad were so flavorful and the shrimp came to us hot out of the oven. All in all great dining experience especially since they were slammed!! Can’t wait to challenge the creative chef another night!!

I confirmed the OpenTable res by calling to say we'd like to be seated outside. The hostess said that's totally fine. When we got there, she said there are no tables available. So she setup a couple of table near the shed they're not using. A few minutes later, the landlord of the building brought out a ton of trash which stunk!!! We asked to be moved, which they did so that was fine. Our reservation was for 7:30. We got settled at about 8. The waitress finally took our order. We ordered several apps and 1 entree. She said she would bring dishes out as they were ready which was fine. We were done with the apps by 8:30. We were looking for her to say we didn't want the entree but she never approached us to see how we were doing. At 9pm, the entree came out and we said we didn't want it. She said Moussaka takes a good 20-25 minutes to prepare. I told her it was an hour. She did not backdown so we ate it. It was good but not worth the trouble. I won't be returning.

I have been many times and always enjoy my visit and my meal. The service is excellent and very friendly (not always the same thing but here it’s both)! The food is delicious and the only reason I didn’t give it five this time is that my lamb was kind of bland, which is unusual for this place. I’ve always been happy with the food in the past and our appetizer was fantastic- crispy balls of zucchini and crab (I think) on a bed of skordalia. I think prices have gone up but that’s true everywhere as costs have too.

wish we were bigger eaters as the small plates looked amazing. Our lamb dishes (main courses) were excellent and a nice pour for excellent red wine! we will go back but maybe for lunch hoping it is a little less noisy, and then they started playing music too which increased the noise....

My wife and I are regulars. The food is always excellent. I am a big fan of the Lavraki fish that I have almost every visit and my wife likes anything she has ever ordered. The service is professional and friendly and the ambiance lively. I am looking forward to visiting again soon!

As we were passed our menus, we were told by the server that we have an hour half at the table because they are a busy. Really? Then say that when you make the reservation - for which you have to give a credit card even with 3 people. Or say it nicely or how about asking if that's ok or is it a problem? Their food is good but I will never go back even though it is around the corner from where I live.
