Great. Our favorite place for dinner in NOLA.
We’d been eager to go back to Ye Olde College in for a while, and are so glad we did! Our friend loved it, too.
Always done here when we're in New Orleans. Never disappoints!
Have passed by this restaurant many times over the years and never stopped to check it out or asked anyone about it. Boy was that a mistake! What a great place. Nothing fancy just great food served by some of the friendliest servers in town. Terrific comfort food done perfectly. The brisket was terrific as well as the veal. Can’t wait to go back soon!
We love Ye Olde College Inn. It's in the neighborhood and everyone just calls it "College Inn." The owner is always there and is friendly and welcoming. The food, drinks and service are great and at fair prices.
All was great!! Staff was friendly and efficient and my husband and I enjoyed the food and the time spent there.
College Inn has been a favorite of many locals for many years. It is a fun place with lots of energy and great fresh food. Many local vegetables and fresh seafood. A few old favorites as well. Enjoy the food and check out the fun and music at the Rock and Bowl next door.
Place is always fabulous. Get the bread pudding desert it’s off the hook!
Music at Rock and Bowl made for a full evening
Great local neighborhood spot! Love the atmosphere and the food is always super fresh, classic New Orleans fare.
We were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive. The food was delicious! The crawfish mac and cheese was amazing! Perfect date night!
No matter what I order, Ye Olde College Inn consistently has delicious food. The portions are generous and flavorful; the service is great. You will not be disappointed!
I gave the service a 4-star rating because, if there's anything like service that's "too good", this was it - my husband and I expected a leisurely Saturday evening dinner, and were seated promptly for our 7:30 reservation (nice to know they honor reservations before walk-ins), but were finished and out by 8:10! We had hardly finished the appetizer when the salads came out, and then before finishing those, our dinner order was served. We asked to split an oyster po-boy, but were served a shrimp remoulade/fried green tomato/couple of oysters on it-type po-boy, which was ok, but not exactly what we expected. We didn't see our server to ask to replace it, so just went with the flow........ our whole experience felt very rushed, like they couldn't wait to turn over our table to all of the waiting customers.
I moved from New Orleans but try to get back to Ye Old College Inn as often as possible. Many new restaurants have opened up in NOLA but I stick to the tried and true ones, College In being one of them.
Duck is outstanding! Cocktails are yummy too!
Our waitress Molly was incredible!!
Great food, great service. Slam dunk.
Had A great dinner, food was fantastic, service was attentive and friendly. The veal was very good and the oyster Po-boy with harvarti cheese and bacon bits was fantastic. will go back again.
Ye Olde College Inn never disappoints--great food, excellent service. It's one of our two go-to places for friends visiting New Orleans!
Delicious brisket with mashed potatoes and onion rings too!
One of my Favorite Classic New Orleans Restaurants frequented by locals. Always a Great meal, never disappoints. We frequent this restaurant anywhere from 4-6 times monthly, always a Great meal. Our favorite waiter is Jimmy, if you're headed to Ye Olde College in ask for Jimmy, you will NOT be disappointed.
LOUD! The hostess Seated us at the two top in the bar area. A great place for having drinks, but not for dining. It was so ridiculously loud we were screaming at each other to have a conversation. It’s definitely a locals hang out. The same barflies are always in there. The food is always great and the waitress was a doll.
Mixed review on our dinner. Place was incredibly loud with people yelling and more people than space at the bar. At our table, server disappeared frequently, especially when we needed him. Took 35 mins from drink order to ordering food. Food was great, however the experience was very less than great.
The food As always it was fabulous. And the service was very attentive. I look forward to my next visit.
Me and my boyfriend went for a late Valentines Dinner. For both of us, it was our first time dining in. The service was exceptional, and we will definitely be back soon! (I even got a single red rose to take home for the occasion.)
Excellent across the board.
Great service from Jimmy C for my mother-in-law’s birthday!
Always great specials in addition to regular menu items in a nice atmosphere. Great for every day dining, special occasions or business dinner.
Fantastic as usual. College Inn is a great place to stop in for a drink and a quick bite or an evening meal with the family. But, don’t tell anyone or they’ll get too busy!!
This place is hard to get into. It's very popular. We managed to get last minute reservations for 4 last night. I'm sure it was because of all the Mardi Gras parades. All of us ordered the brisket and were quite pleased. We like to go to this restaurant for dinner and its food is very consistent.
Phenomenal restaurant with exceptional service. Ask for Jimmie for your server and you will have a memorable experience. The oysters blue appetizer is a must try. Great onion rings too. The veal cutlet/fish/brisket are all super good choices for your entree. And whatever you do, don’t miss out on the award winning fried bread pudding dessert.
Great food and a fun atmosphere!
I would say that was good! But the day I went it was like really busy day, and my table was all the way back, my waitress came one time, and she didn’t come back to check again until I asked for the bill! The food is not super healthy, but it is good tasty
We enjoy Ye Olde College Inn very much. It's just a stone's throw from our house, so it's very much a neighborhood favorite. Great food and service at moderate prices.
Best shrimp poboy in the city!!! Too many "best-of" New Orleans to list here ... entire menu fantastic!
Very consistent great food. Very well established restaurant with great vibe.
went for a dinner to help the VOA and had a great meal. the service was prompt and courteous and would recommend.
Our favorite place to eat
Had to wait a bit to get our table. Delicious though. Ordered a vegan dish and it was just as good as any other. Always consistent and just classic New Orleans!
College Inn remains one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Fantastic drinks at the bar. Excellent new crab and brie appetizer. The new duck dish is also great. Fantastic service with a smile. Good parking. Always great food for many years.
