The finest selection of Kuroge Wagyu from Japan.

Yazawa is a super-fancy grill your own beef spot in Beverly Hills.
It’s our first time there and it didn’t disappoint. Service was great meat quality is exceptional. Good and drink arrived fast ther expected. Really like the place and will go back soon.
A+ amazing! I didn’t know what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised. I went with friends and everyone loved BBQing our meats on the grill that was built into the middle of the table. A unique and great experience! Delicious meats!
The food was amazing. I’m glad I finally found this place. Christian was an awesome server.
I highly recommend Yazawa. The food, the service, the ambiance are gorgeous!
Great food and great service!
This restaurant really brought that ambiance from when I first tried this type of meat when I was in Japan. The quality is definitely up there, and while the price will scare some people off, however, the taste is unlike anything you have had before.
The servers are so knowledgeable.. they may have small menu but their is nothing bad.
If you like Kobe wagyu and have means to afford it, Yazawa is the place to enjoy such a delicacy.
I have been 4times in Singapore and once in LA, as always excellent.
Bring your red wine with you , it will be served with a charge but like this it feels cheaper to order the good stuff from Japon
Very good Japanese BBQ, one of the best in LA. At least out of the ones that are available on Opentable.
Best meat I’ve ever had in my life.
We had an amazing experience. It was a perfect place to enjoy nothing but delicious red meat. My husband is a steak fan and he said it is by far the best so far! I definitely will recommend this place. Our server was very knowledgeable and made us feel very comfortable.
Last, I can’t forget the heated toilet seats! Just had to add that. 🙌🏼
My boyfriend and I had a crazy day earlier during the day but our server ACE made our anniversary dinner super special and personable. Love the meat quality! We would go back again and try other omakases!
I was shocked that glass of house cabernet (jordan) cost $35 which is almost wholesale for 1 bottle. Pretty outrageous. Recommend bringing ur own wine at $35/ corkage to complement the good meat
Food is good but way overpriced.
We have dined here twice and both experiences have been great. Meats are pricey, but every bite and the experience is worth it. Yazawa uses real wagyu and not "wagyu-style." Meat is marbled beautifully and cooked with precision by your server.
Delicious and pricey. Amazing beef. What they don't tell you is that if you haven't been before, you really need to do the omakase menu -- it starts at $100 and doesn't include any vegetables or other dishes-- those have to be ordered a la carte. Other than that, and the confirmation call telling us that we had to release the table in 2 hours (a bit off-putting), the food was really outstanding and the service was good as well. You better like meat, though!
Food was amazing but space was bit tight...if they would provide some kind of refresher between the cuts would make it even better
The beef is all good and juicy and tasty even the US ones. The seasoning inside is just PERFECT.
This is the BEST Japanese Waygu BBQ we tried on earth. If the price is not that expensive, I want to come here once a week. :)
Best dining experience I’ve ever had. You come for the food and also the experience. This was my first time trying wagyu and it was so amazing. Definitely recommend the omakase for $100 per person. It’s basically super fancy Japanese BBQ, but with really good quality meat.
Was good food and a cute place but nothing special..
Absolute a Must!!! I Love taking new people there because they are in just Disbelief that they just had the best and tastiest meats in LA!!! A must at least once a week!!! A++++++++
Not bad but unreasonably expensive for place like that
Service was fair food was fair but a horrible “value” (330 for 2). I was worried when presented something with truffle oil.
I’ve never felt strongly in either direction to leave a review before but I thought I would leave a feedback in case it could be another perspective for someone considering the restaurant to dine in. First of all I didn’t feel well after dining that I couldn’t sleep that night with an upset stomach and cold sweat running down my spine so that definitely swayed the experience as a negative one. The Japanese imported meats that were supposed to be the highest quality meat didn’t feel that way to me and I have had far better experience with the quality of meat in other places.
I think the restaurant experience at yazawa can be a divided one. I can see how it caters to people who like pursuing the pleasure from eating meat that is said be be of a high quality.
I would definitely give it a thought before making a reservation and really determine if you will be okay paying much more for much less quantity with undeterminable quality difference. I know I wish I did, but then again this is a personal experience so I would be glad if this experience is for you and have a great time here.
If you want to get robbed then come here for dinner. Ordered the Omakase for $160 and just got a few slices of meat. I could t believe the omakase did not even include a salad rice or soup. Unbelievably bad experience.
I expected a lot more from good reviews on Yelp. We ordered the $160 course meal, but the beef was just okay. I was actually disappointed with the trio appetizer and the first beef in the course menu was really tough. We also ordered garlic wagyu rice and Toro sushi, but these were just okay too. I feel like I had better overall experience in Yazawa in Tokyo, Japan...
Amazing food as usual!
I love this place, great food and great service.
they serve amazing beef that you would normally have to travel to japan to experience. simply awesome. go to ayce bbq if you simply want to stuff your stomach, but come here if you want one of the best meal experience of your life. oh, toro sushi was a bit too strong in vinegar flavor (sushi rice) so i wouldn't recommend it.
Was seeking an authentic yakiniku spot but with a modern vibe. Yazawa was amazing. The A5 wagyu rib eye was phenomenal as well as the vegetable soup. Still thinking about that wagyu...
An absolute wonderful dining experience. The meats were out of this world! Exceptional service too, thank you.
Nice food but felt they tried to upsell the menu.
Good but not worth the price.
Got the $160 course meal. All cuts of beef were just amazing. I had some great beef before, and this place certainly serves TOP quality beef. Service was very nice as well. Two downsides are that for $160, I was not really completely full, and the course meal really included just beef. If you want any vegetables (even some pickles) or rice, you have to order them separately. I think they should at least give some pickles for the amount of money I paid.
Wagyu with sauce… Bad Taste… Only thing you can taste it is soy sauce…not the smell of wagyu…we speet $300 per person. Not worth at all.
The best Japanese barbeque I have ever had. All cuts of the waygu melt in your mouth. They tell you which sauce is best for each cut, which provides them each a unique flavor. Highly recommend!
Excellent chefs course
Spectacular meal. Went with a large group of friends. Beef was absolutely out of this world. We had one vegetarian and they made an vegetarian omakase for him. It was $50 and was bascially an endless stream of courses that came out with the meal dishes. There isn't a defined vegetarian menu so they just winged it for us.
Impeccable service, and the best beef in the world.
