Yauatcha City is an all-day dim sum teahouse, where friends and family gather to catch up over a wide selection of dim sum, wok dishes, tea and cocktails. To complement the cuisine, the drinks menu comprises nearly 40 types of tea, as well as cocktails inspired by Chinese ingredients and a broad wine and Champagne list.
Yauatcha’s first standalone patisserie, Yauatcha Patisserie, is located just below the restaurant, where Chinese heritage and modern European cooking techniques have inspired the pastry team to create a range of unique macarons, petits gateaux and chocolates.

Great set menu options
Great meal, able to.order as soon as we arrived for the table, before they arrived which meant food arrived as they did. Came together, even though warned it comes as it is cooked. Good experience and well priced.
Great food. Will go again. Nice atmosphere and wine selection.
Great venue! Food delicious and cooked to perfection. Dim sum was beyond "touching the heart" delicious and very filling!
Asked to be served 5 times. Food came cold and waited 20 minutes for friends main to arrive, so we couldn’t eat together. Side orders were also forgotten. Not what you would expect from Yauatcha.
Surprisingly good when considering how excellent the Soho original Yauatcha is. Often the ‘cool City’ versions can lose a bit of flavour for pizzazz, but despite a great buzz, layout, attentive friendly staff, clean facilities, the food was excellent. Just order whatever you fancy, can’t go wrong with a load of dim sum, duck, veggie dishes and so on. Venison puffs are a favourite!
Fantastic food as always. Best Dim Sum in the city by far. Those Venison puffs!!
Food was very good (except the dessert, this needs a rethink on the Signature menu). Service was abysmal, not was it just one server, but each server screwed something up and were not attentive.
We came in late for dinner and Yauatcha was very accommodating - we also had to add more people to our booking unexpectedly. The waiter we had was very good at recommending items.
Exquisite in all regards
Everything is good just dishes a little bit too sweet.
If you love dim sum I cannot recommend a better place that coming here for top grade cusine! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ all the way!
A beautiful atmosphere, the staff are attentive and the food is delicious!
In a word awesome
Awesome food and ambiance!
Better than I had expected. The menu is quite dim sum focussed (and for dinner time too) and some familiar dishes with some interesting original additions making for a pleasant change. Cheung fun was enjoyable especially as the prawns were much better than usually find. Noodles were light and didn’t taste overflavoured. The tea smoked ribs made a nice change but not sure would order again. Little noisy inside but what should expect given the location but with a great view over the area. Maybe not for the traditionalist but if want a change worth visiting.
Expensive but really good food and service
Great food and great service. That was my second time going and I will definitely return.
Good food. Had a bit of a nightmare and had to leave early and they asked if everything was ok. Which was nice. I’ve been lots and it’s always good to be honest.
Delicious food, great atmosphere and venue. Fairly priced. Helpful accommodating staff. Not my first visit and definitely not my last
As ever, excellent food, but it was very noisy and service was, unusually, slightly slow.
Fabulous as always staff very helpful and polite really enjoyed our evening it was my guests first visit and they can't wait to go back
Sizzling beef not sizzling 🥵
In fairness they knocked it of the bill
Not a patch on soho
No I had a worse possible experience for my birthday here. I feel like I was discriminated against because of the colour of my skin and the way I look. I did not receive the same service as everyone else
We had a really lovely meal in Yauatcha, due to it being a Sunday it was extremely quiet in the restaurant. Food was great and the staff are were really lovely. We did feel a little rushed as the staff kept telling us the kitchen was closing despite us asking us to slow down the service as we had booked the weekend brunch menu. Overall I would recommend this to others but I probably wouldn't rush back.
Service was very hurried.
Food quality has dropped a lot. Dessert selection and taste was very disappointing. I have visited over 10 times in the past few years but this was the worst.
Lovely setting and great food! Impeccable service, overall great experience. Found the desserts a bit rich but the rest of the food was great.
It was the first time that I had dined at Yauatcha and I can definitely say that I will be returning. I had the set menu and so glad I did, I was able to try dishes that I would not normally pick myself. Such good value too. I have recommended Yauatcha already to all my friends.
Excellent food with generous portions. The soft shell crab with almond in particular is to die for.
The only reason I’ve not given a 5 star review is that the venue is a little pricey in my opinion.
Took my parents - was buzzy but not too noisy. Waitress was lovely, explained all the dishes (though the drinks could’ve arrived a little quicker after ordering). We’d booked the special weekend / Father’s Day menu, but were still given the option of a la carte - we all opted for the set menu which was light, fresh, tasty, and good value, including wine, cocktail and dessert. Is a lovely light airy space, making the most of the changeable sunlight on the day. I’ve been several times with friends, or for work and has never disappointed.
Service was really excellent. Staff extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Initial steamed dumplings were excellent - otherwise, food was ‘clumsy’ and not of standard expected at all. Set meal on a Sunday so rather overpriced.
Great on every level. Food was really excellent and tasty. Lovely friendly service
I took my mother and we had the weekend set menu. The food was excellent and the restaurant was busy but not full. There was an extended delay of service between the dim sum items and the main course which meant we had to change our plans for the afternoon but overall would go again.
The food is absolutely delicious and well worth the money
Had to ask repeatedly for service. Food is fantastic but not cheap.
The food was good, but the service not great. Among the other things they forgot to bring us the drinks. When they finally brought them they just apologised, but they made us pay for them full prize. They could have, at the very least, given us the one coffee we ordered on the house, but they didn’t.
I loved everything about it. Definitely going back, all staff was really polite and sweet. They also hold your coats and bags , what a classy restaurant. Also, make sure you get the jasmine ribs they were the best ribs I’ve tried in my life.
Only had videos :(
We had a lovely time at Yauatcha City and the food was really great. The only damper on the evening was the way some staff spoke to the staff working on the bathrooms. They were speaking in Spanish assuming customers wouldn't understand but it was pretty degrading and vulgar the way one member of staff was telling the other to clean the unisex bathroom. I almost said something but it was already uncomfortable as I was the only girl with those two men in the washroom with me.
We have been before and had a lovely meal. This time we probably chose badly. Had the medium price set meal at £60 per head. Starters and duck were very nice but we weren’t wowed with the soup or sticky rice or squid
