Yardbird Southern Table & Bar
**Please note that while we do welcome families and children, we do not have high chairs within the restaurant, we appreciate your understanding**
It was a fabulous experience Food out of this world!!!
The food was outstanding with 2 exceptions, the french fries and the peach cobbler both just average. Peach cobbler was overpriced and should be skipped. But as stated everything else was outstanding. Service was great. Cocktails were great.
Come for the good down home cooking. Must haves: bourbon cocktail, deviled eggs, fried chicken (hot sauce one of the best I have had - not too much heat just the right little bit of a kick) and ribs served in a smoking glass bell jar is not only very unique but so tasty. Be prepared to have excellent & fast service, they move tables quickly here but if you dine indoors you will contend with some difficulty carrying on conversation with your dinner partner as the noise level is very high (music is way too loud) perhaps to dissuade lingering over you meals. Value: Moderate/Expensive for a chicken/waffle place, but worth a try.
Great food and great drinks. Came down here for my birthday and everything was amazing. Service was great!!
Great place and delicious food! Definitely would go back!
Great ambiance! Food was cold but we still ate it. Drinks were ok, not great
Our waitress was very nice and gave recommendations and knew the menu very well. Unfortunately, the food was not what I expected at all. The chicken on the crispy chicken sliders was disgusting and I could barely eat it. The texture was terrible and chewy like it was pumped with hormones. The shrimp was flavored well but over cooked and rubbery. The only thing that I liked was my margarita. Very dissapointing experience, would not recommend.
Great food and great service, our server, Panos, was awesome. We would definitely recommend and come back.
Food was everything that everyone said it was - and the service was exceptional, making our meal a delightful experience.
Made a reservation for four, didn’t realize our friends were bringing their baby in stroller - which made our original table unavailable. Rather than make us wait / feel awkward for the oversight, the manager graciously gave us a few options of where he could readjust - found us a lovely table with room for the babe’s ride. On top of this - he even sent us over their famous delectable biscuits which made us melt in our chairs.
Our server was the definition of hospitality perfection as well. Curiosity, personable, and an a fantastic menu guide. We were with all the dishes he recommended. The chicken & waffles is a must, as were the biscuits (duh), fried green tomatoes,Brussel sprouts, and of course their drinks.
I wish every dining experience was this enjoyable.
Great drinks. Delicious food. Most of us got the chicken and waffles. Honestly could’ve shared one plate for 2 people.
Will def be back.
Guests in town for a fun evening. Drinks, starters and mains were flawless. Fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad with Brussels was unique and delicious. Ribs and fried chicken were the best. No room for dessert.
This restaurant is truly not to be missed. We suggest you make a reservation as the restaurant is full. The most difficult part of the evening was narrowing down on what to order. Everything on the menu sounded so good. We started with a drink called blackberry bourbon lemonade. It was sooo good & a definite must try. We ordered a half order of biscuits (unbelievably delicious) & Roasted cauliflower as appetizers. Then we split an order of chicken n waffles with a side of cornbread. It was all so delicious. The bourbon maple syrup for the waffles was amazing. The chicken was moist and non greasy. It was just so good. We of course had to try dessert. So we ordered the coconut cream pie. That is something you don’t want to miss either. The restaurant is casual. They play awesome background music. You can definitely hear it but not too loud that you feel like you are talking over it. If you want an evening filled with really great food, good drinks, awesome music & good conversation don’t miss out on this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
My boyfriend and I loved YardBird. We ordered the brisket biscuit sliders which were loaded with brisket and yummy flavor. We also had the Mac and cheese side as an app which was delicious; loved the breadcrumb addition. Portions were hearty. For dinner I had the brussel sprout ceaser salad, which was tasty and had an awesome presentation. My boyfriend had the burger which was crazy good. Excellent experience and wish there had been room for dessert!
Service was amazing. The food was average.
Unbelievably fantastic. And - best of all- they made gluten free fried chicken that was incredible.
We had a lovely meal at Yardbird and were particularly impressed with the service. Our server Snezhana was exceptionally attentive and very knowledgeable. The hostess was very accommodating and the manager Vernon Quinzy was wonderful. The staff are a credit to the restaurant. My only comment would be that it was rather loud.
Yardbird is a superbly run, joyful place that welcomes its guests genuinely and unpretentiously. It's salads are delicious, chicken and ribs, among the mains expertly
prepared, sides well selected and delivered and the biscuits come to you from just north of heaven. One block away from Lincoln Road culinary mediocrity, this is a delightful place to dine, enhanced by well trained, thoughtful service.
Go. You will not be disappointed.
This was an amazing food experience!! First bite of the chicken made my day!
Staff were super attentive and fun and friendly. Our server was so friendly and welcoming. Took the time to answer any questions, explained the menu well and made some excellent recommendations. The food was outstanding as well!
Sorry to see later that we missed
Going back for a brunch.
Awesome dinner in South Beach.
Our waiter Rafael was excellent and made our night special.
One of my favorite spots to dine. Have the biscuits, brussel sprouts and fried chicken.
Lovely evening, thankfully we sat outside, the noise inside would prohibit any conversation. Too pricy for what it is
It was a very enjoyable experience. Service was excellent. Food was great, especially the fried chicken. We would eat there again.
very disapointed.. chicken, OK, but nothing special... was expecting more
It was great, food was great, service was excellent awesome experience
The best fried chicken and biscuits we have ever had. The service was absolutely impeccable! If you’re visiting Miami, be sure to try it! You won’t be disappointed!!
Very nice place. Very good food, Service was good but too quick to take out our unfinished plates... :-(
We were seating outside and it was great. Inside decor looked really great but a bit too cold for us.
I recommend this place and we’ll probably go back
A nice thing about this place is that it is right next to Lincoln, so its was great to take a long walk after diner on Lincoln.
A multi-level parking is right next to this place and is free which is really convinient
We were in Miami for a conference. A conference attendee suggested we try this place. We were not disappointed. We had a great server, great atmosphere and the food was off the chain. I'd definitely come back or recommend to anyone I know visiting Miami
Outstanding meal — friend chicken and waffles were top-notch, as was catfish Po Boy and coconut cream pie. Service was just right, friendly, knowledgeable but not suffocating. Very nicely done!
Wholesome food well cooked, plenty of it. Buzzy atmosphere. Very attentive and friendly service.
Great restaurant with a very upbeat vibe. Very good service. Wonderful southern comfort food with a modern twist. St Louis ribs always a favourite ! Also, chicken and waffles, chicken biscuits and the catfish !! Yummy desserts ! Love the chocolate sundae or the beignets.
Perfect Sunday brunch spot. Decided to forgo a table and sit at the bar. Friendly staff food came so quick I wish we would have taken more time ordering. Food is so good, perfect to share and enjoy the variety of choices fried chicken is the best
Very good food and service.
Toujours très bon
While we did arrive on the late side for dinner (about 10:30), I felt the food lacked a little brightness and precision to be what’s described by the menu and waiter.
It was a little “tired”. I have had better versions in past years. Chicken thigh too gamey, burnt ends tender but too much bbq sauce that was too sweet. Wedge salad quite lite on the blue dressing, that’s no where to skimp.
Dessert not intense enough for the style of them. I don’t know how you can present fried Oreos with little flavor and a petite serving of ice cream.
Excellent food. Excellent service. Panos was amazing and made our visit exceptional!!
Michelle was our server and absolutely the best we’ve had to date! She was very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. A couple of our friends hadn’t been before and they were very fond of the service and food. We went for the fried chicken and waffles which delighted all. We also tried the catfish special which was delicious, and had kale salad, deviled eggs, mac n cheese, cauliflower mash. Colonel Sanders ain’t got a thing on this bird!
Brought a couple friends from out of state for lunch. They loved their meals and fun mixed drinks. I had a nice lunch, but wish a great vegetarian salad option was there for me. I enjoyed my drinks and the service was really good.
The service was excellent and the ambiance was very good. We liked the fried chicken, it was moist and not overly greasy, but certainly not the best we’ve ever tasted. We were expecting it to blow us away considering the hype we’ve read about it. The biscuits were just okay, a little too dry and not very flavorful, but the cornbread and wedge salad was fabulous. The brownie ice cream sundae was just bad. It didn’t have anything resembling brownie in it. The server said that the overly sugary hard little square pieces at the bottom was the brownie. It did not resemble a brownie in any way and was awful. It was served in a far too narrow old fashioned sundae glass, and there was virtually no chocolate syrup and no chocolate flavor in those horrible little squares.
Our biggest criticism is that the main course came out so soon after our salads and appetizers that we barely had time to breathe. Over all we liked it and will go back, but will ask them to give us a little more time between courses.
Our waiter Jason was great! The food was amazing!
