Perfect as usual. My family’s favorite downtown spot.
Great service. They seated us almost immediately and didn’t make us wait for the entire party.
My husband, myself, and our teenage boys enjoyed the place and the food. Perfect for pre-movie dinner. Our server Amelia was excellent.
Nicely prepared food, nice eclectic menu to suit most tastes.
Was weird going in and it wasn't packed, had a great casual experience without all the noise.
Just too loud. Asked to be seated somewhere quiet and was placed next to a large group.
Great ambiance, great food, excellent service. We look forward to returning.
The service was excellent here. Also, the variety of choices on the menu was great. So many options to choose from. If you're a big sports fan, especially football, then this is a great place for you. Otherwise, you and your party may feel a bit out of place for just a simple dinner night out.
I would recommend Yard House, yes and no. I have been a long time customer. I have been disappointed how things have changed. The service is sub-par. They have done a better job at bringing out the drinks now. But the food was overcooked. I had a first time guest and it was not a good first impression. Waitress could be more attentive.
We had a GREAT experience dining here. Food was great, 32oz beers were cold, price was just right. Definitely recommend to everyone coming to the Portland area.
Always love this place! Kat was amazing!!!!!!
Great service, great location, great food. Would recommend and return.
Great food, great drinks!
The food was excellent. The selection of beers was good but heavily weighted towards Oregon breweries. Oregon brews aren’t bad but, here in Portland they’re as common as Coors. The service staff was attentive without being intrusive. The price, while high, is on par with the quality of the food and service. The only negative was the noise level. This place is very loud. Bottom line ... two forks up.
I ordered the very common cocktail “negroni”, which I always order at any bar or restaurant I go to, and the waiter came back and told me that your bar does not have compari, one of the 3 ingredients that make a negroni. I was shocked by this. Also I ordered the kale Caesar salad which (by description) I expected to be made of kale, but there were literally about 2 1/2 tiny pieces of kale in it and the rest of the salad consisted of romaine lettuce, 1.5 Brussels sprouts (very strange ingredient to put in a so-called “kale Caesar salad”, raisins, tomatoes, and some kind of nuts (all also very strange ingredients to include in what I was logically expecting to be a “kale Caesar salad”, the menu did not have any description stating that these would be the ingredients in the “kale Caesar salad”. I was expecting an actual “kale Caesar salad” and was very disappointed with what was placed in front of me, which in no way constituted a “kale Caesar salad”. Also we ordered the hummus, and it literally tasted even more bland and basic than the cheap prepackaged hummus that one would buy at any grocery store. I also ordered the poke bowl and was expecting to get an adequate amount of actual poke, when in actuality, the dish was extremely deceiving as there appeared to be a healthy mound of poke, but then discovered after taking about 4-5 bites of the poke, there was no more poke and there was just a large rice patty type thing underneath the poke which made the poke stand higher on the dish, which was completely deceiving and disappointing as there was virtually no poke in a dish titled “poke bowl”. Also, the cocktails that I did order from the cocktail menu (once I was told you don’t carry compari to make a negroni) were nothing special at all and the ingredients as described on the menu to be included in the cocktails which were mint and elderflower were so minimal that my boyfriend had to go up to the bar himself to request more mint leaves and elderflower. :(
Had a wonderful time!
Varied menu with full bar of unique spirits and lots of beer options on tap. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken...it was spectacular! Our server, Ceenan, was awesome. We had a large group and, unfortunately, didn't all arrive on time. He was very patient and attentive both before everyone arrived and after!
We were going to the theater after our dinner and our server was very good about keeping us on time! Food was perfect!
This was our first time to Yard House. Nice variety on the menu, friendly staff and service. Food was really good and was ready in a timely manner. Great place for dinner before heading to Keller for a musical!
Everyone seems very helpful and the service was fast and friendly
Very nice meal with helpful staff. Large selection of drinks and food
Great service and good food. The kids menu was great as well.
Great place Fast service great food great atmosphere great location really enjoyed my time there it was fun on my 19th anniversary with my wife
The food is a little bland!
Happy Hour Specials are good. Really enjoyed the pizza!!!
WE got an email after the fact that we did not show up for our reservation even though we were there on t5ime, and seated on time.
Great booth table, friendly patient server, good food, good timing on delivery, perfect place to celebrate our college grad.
Great rib eye steak.
Was a great place to watch the game but still be able to talk business. Very good food and service made for a great evening.
The servers are friendly, the prices at happy hour are great and the food is good with large portions. Honestly have never had a bad experience here and they are great about seating large groups even when unexpected. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are downtown and with a large group of friends, happy hour at Yardhouse is the way to go.
I had the turkey club and it was dry and lacking flavor. My wife ordered a taco that we thought came with rice and beans but it was just single taco our meal with 2 drinks was $73. Pretty spendy for mediocre food.
Food was better than we expected and service was outstanding!!
The Yard House is a great refuge for downtown dining. It is male bonding at its core with massive numbers of TV's.....tons of beer handles and a "clubby" enviornment. A business colleague and I took advantage of the 1/2 price burger e mail and was thoroughly impressed with the quality and quantity of the servings. The lamb burger was outstanding as was the pablano pepper with jack cheese. I normally take off the bun but it was a seemly homemade baked version which was perfect. The burger was bigger than the bun. Great Happy Hour as well.
First heard of Yard House in Dallas, Texas. We loved it and went there for Mother’s Day this year. Not your normal Mother’s Day pick but we got to watch the Blazers play and WIN! Love this sports bar!!
There must be better sports bars. Or you would have to be a lot younger and less discriminating about food, freezing cold, and really mediocre food.
Went here before prom for a nice, but still pretty casual dinner where we could have some good food. Definitely wasn't disappointed. The service was great, food was delicious, and prices are very reasonable. We sat upstairs, where it's quieter and doesn't give off that sports bar feel.
Great variety of food which satisfied our group of eight. Good service and the food was delicious. It was pleasant to pay a moderate price for dinner in Portland.
We had a great time! and we felt right at home! thank you...............
