We were celebrating my wife's birthday with friends. The food was fantastic and the menu selections were great. This is definitely a "come back to" place.

Food and service are consistently excellent. This is our "go-to" place for Chinese food. Favorites are crispy beef, eggplant in garlic sauce, and broad noodle dishes.

Chris Yao is a terrific host and is always available. Highly recommended.

All the food was deliciously prepared...egg rolls, soups and entrees. We enjoyed shrimp with lobster sauce, flat noodles with beef, shrimp and pineapple fried rice, steamed bok Choy and lomein.
The service was excellent. Hope to dine at YaoFuzi soon.

Food was really good, but a little noising for my taste. Owner bought my wife a drink after the first one she ordered did not taste very good. I will return again.

After returning from living abroad, I have finally found a place with good soup dumplings. If you haven't tried them yet, you should!

Always a treat to go to Yao Fuzi. Chris is the consummate host and always orders dinner for us. This gives us an opportunity to try a variety of items.

Great meal with friends. Black pepper beef was excellent. We always enjoy the west lake soup and the soup dumplings which are prepared fresh every day. Shanghai lobster is a great dish. We ordered the jalapeño chicken dish and it was good.

Everything about Yao Fuji is great. The waitstaff is attentive and the food, no matter what we order, is fresh and delicious. We try other Chinese restaurants but none compare. It is a neighborhood gem!

We have eaten here several times largely for the food. Always consistent and good.
It is a bit noisy and they do try to hustle you through your dinner. Slowing them down is a bit of a game as they are intense about getting you through your meal and out.

We love Yao Fuzi! The wine list is impressive, the soup dumplings are a must, and if you haven't tried it yet order the Peking Duck. You have to order it a day in advance but it is the best experience.

I haven't eaten at Yao Fuzi's for a couple of years, and consequently have missed out on wonderful food, good ambiance and great service. They also have an large wine list as well as a full bar. I had a glass of a Fuzi wine and it was excellent. The food was delicious, cooked well with fresh ingredients. There were five of us and we split 4 entree's and had plenty to eat. We were celebrating a birthday and got one serving of Tiramasu that we shared. It was one of the best desserts that I have tasted in a while. Our waitress was attentive, but not over bearing. I will definitely go back more frequently. They have expanded since I was there and now have extra room for larger parties. We went on a week night and by the time that we left the place was pretty full. I recommend making a reservation. Enjoy!!

Great food and my friend who joined me for dinner hadn't eaten there before. She was more than pleased with her Flounder entree'.
I will continue bringing out-of-town guests and friends alike to this restaurant!

This was our first visit to Yao Fuze. The friend's that we met at the restaurant have been going there for a long time. The service was efficient, although the server was a bit unfriendly. We visited on a Sunday night. Prices are very high for a Chinese restaurant.

The lettuce wraps were good; not great. The wonton soup was delicious. My husband and I shared a shrimp dish with a rich creamy sauce. As he was finishing his portion, he saw a black curly hair on his plate (which was not his/and was not a hair from the head).

We asked the server for the manager. She said there was no manager on duty. Really??!!?? She took the plate and showed it to the bartender. She was not even conspicuous about it.

She came with the checks and took the shrimp dish off the bill. As we were leaving, the staff started speaking about us in Chinese, which was extremely rude.

We were appalled at how we were treated. We would never come here again. No apologies at all from the staff.
