We tried this restaurant at the recommendation of a friend and really enjoyed our meal. The menu is diverse and we tried six different entrees. Overall the food was very good. We liked some dishes more than others, but the plates were empty at the end of the evening. Good size portions. Enjoyed the spring rolls and crab wonton appetizers also.
We love Yao Fuzi! We came with friends to celebrate a birthday. The service was excellent and so was the food. Special touch was the birthday guy got a special birthday dessert! Thank you!
The crab fried rice is one of the best things I’ve ever eaten!
Service was slow and then felt rushed.
Best Chinese food I’ve had in DFW!
As always, it was a very pleasant experience. Wait staff excellent.
Order was wrong and server didn’t check to see how our meal was to correct until 20 minutes had last. Ordered Lo me in noodles and it had exactly 5 pieces of beef in it. Actually counted as it was shocking to see so little in the meal. Other vegetables include a few shaved carrot pieces and some green onion slivers.
Will not return. Way overrated!
The Soft Shell Crabs are the very best dishes we have had in any Chinese restaurant. Everything else was also delicious.
$15.00 for glass of house Chardonnay is ridiculous. Food only average so overpriced. Have dined there before and feel success has ruined what was a good dinning experience. Won’t be back.
This is a favorite spot for the wife and I so when a friend was in town on business it was a no brainer to grab a table for dinner and some catching up. Everything on the menu is great but I really like their take on Cashew Chicken. Their beef entrees are also always excellence as is the Sesame Chicken.
We moved out of town 2 1/2 years ago and Yao Fuzi Cuisine is always the first restaurant we come to when we’re back in town. You can’t beat the food And the service. This is always our go to Restaurant whether it’s casual or a special occasion.
I always dine here once a week
There wasn’t one time that I was disappointed
Always waiting for my next time....
They are the best
Food is excellent
Service is amazing
I’ll definitely recommend this restaurant to my family and friends... and sure will come back!
I have always loved the food at Yao Fuzi but had an unexpected wonder happen on this visit. I asked the bartender if he could make me a French 75 and not only did he comply, it was the best I have ever had. It was even better than the one I had recently at a French restaurant.
Never disappoints! Always good service and good food all in a locally owned neighborhood restaurant!!!
As usual, the food is ALWAYS excellent--I have eaten here many times and never had a bad meal or entree. Cocktails are stellar and service on point.
Consistently excellent and consistent food. The Spicy Beef is our favorite....and don't miss out on the Tempura Halibut. There is a quality wine list with a good range of selections. The staff is attentive without being intrusive and the serving cadence is well done so you feel neither neglected or rushed so you can enjoy each course and your dining companions. The noise level is such that comfortable conversation is easily accomplished.
Yao Fuzi is the best Chinese food in Dallas! Don’t even think about going anywhere else. They have amazing wine, great selection of beers and their Mongolian Beef is bar none, hands down STELLAR!
Table was dirty when we sat down. Service mediocre. Food ok. Disappointed
As always, it was delicious! We are regulars there, and we get the same things every time! Why change perfection?! Nearly all of the servers there know our usuals, so we don't need to repeat them each time! The food, service and comforting atmosphere are what keeps us going back there, It's one of our favorite places to dine at!
Excellent experience as always!
Food was delicious! Nothing like their soup dumplings. Service could’ve been a little better, but will definitely be back soon.
As usual the food and service were excellent
Best of the best. Chris runs a great restaurant
Yao Fuzi is always consistently great. The food is great and is the rare Chinese fine dining establishment. Can't recommend more highly.
Traveling in Dallas area for business, we decided to avoid the TexMex scene and were delighted to find this gem of a restaurant. Attentive, helpful staff and exquisitely prepared food. We especially loved the 5 spice spare ribs which were tender and meaty. My black pepper beef with brown sauce, garlic, and scallions was perfectly carmelized and the beef was lean and tender. I couldn't stop myself from finishing this ample portion. My wife's General Yao's chicken was a nice twist on a familiar theme with Hoison based sauce, delicious breast chicken with water chestnuts and broccoli. We went for the coconut ice cream and strawberry ice cream for dessert to counter a little heat from our entrees. This was the only mediocre part of the meal. I will be back next time I am in Plano!
Yao Fuzi is always the best. From the time you walk in the drinks and the food are a unique experience. My personal favs are the Tempura Halibut and the Soft Shell Crab. There are many others to chose from. Always worth the drive from Denison Texas.
Excellent food and service every time!
Still the best
Our favorite Asian restaurant - we were with our daughter from Nashville and it is her first choice any time she comes to Plano.
Fuzi Friday’s! That is what I call it. Soft shell crab, Shanghai lobster, vegetable fried rice, black peppered beef, snow pea leaves. We started with West Lake soup and soup dumplings. Nice red wine from St. Francis and finished with bread pudding. A great night with friends.
Had a birthday dinner. Our wait staff explained each item we ordered so we knew what we would receive. This place is consistently great. They know how to make everything right for your party.
I enjoyed a very nice preparation of chili spiced flounder. It was so tender it almost melted in your mouth.
Best Asian fusion anywhere!!!!
Another memorable evening. Loved the crab won ton appetizer tried for the first time.
Dine here fairly frequently consistently excellent only Chinese restaurant with ambiance & stellar wine list
We go here frequently as the food is excellent. Service this time was somewhat marginal. The waitress, who wrote nothing down, forgot one of our items (kale salad). Otherwise, excellent
I took my Mom (89 years old) and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with great wine. George, our waiter, took excellent care of us. All the staff are wonderful, including Chris, the owner, who came by our table to say hello. This is the BEST Asian restaurant in the Dallas area. You won't be disappointed.
Romantic ambiance.excellent good and service. Very reasonable prices
Best Chinese food in the DFW! The owner Chris is awesome and knows his amazing wine list.
