Yao Fuzi Cuisine Ratings and Reviews
I haven't eaten at Yao Fuzi's for a couple of years, and consequently have missed out on wonderful food, good ambiance and great service. They also have an large wine list as well as a full bar. I had a glass of a Fuzi wine and it was excellent. The food was delicious, cooked well with fresh ingredients. There were five of us and we split 4 entree's and had plenty to eat. We were celebrating a birthday and got one serving of Tiramasu that we shared. It was one of the best desserts that I have tasted in a while. Our waitress was attentive, but not over bearing. I will definitely go back more frequently. They have expanded since I was there and now have extra room for larger parties. We went on a week night and by the time that we left the place was pretty full. I recommend making a reservation. Enjoy!!
This was our first visit to Yao Fuze. The friend's that we met at the restaurant have been going there for a long time. The service was efficient, although the server was a bit unfriendly. We visited on a Sunday night. Prices are very high for a Chinese restaurant.
The lettuce wraps were good; not great. The wonton soup was delicious. My husband and I shared a shrimp dish with a rich creamy sauce. As he was finishing his portion, he saw a black curly hair on his plate (which was not his/and was not a hair from the head).
We asked the server for the manager. She said there was no manager on duty. Really??!!?? She took the plate and showed it to the bartender. She was not even conspicuous about it.
She came with the checks and took the shrimp dish off the bill. As we were leaving, the staff started speaking about us in Chinese, which was extremely rude.
We were appalled at how we were treated. We would never come here again. No apologies at all from the staff.
