Wish it had chicken arteries but other yakitories were very good
Traditional Japanese yakitori restaurant, but very authentic. Good service and exceptional food.
Absolutely fantastic experience!
The experience was great! I usually don’t bother writing reviews unless I am treated badly. But this restaurant is truly outstanding.
Chicken are grilled perfectly and you can smell the delicious in the restaurant. The waiter-table ratio is great and we never need to wait for someone for service.
The whole Culinary team is energetic. You can see the harmony of cooking in their stations.
Please consider open a California Bay Area branch. :)
Server was great. Kitchen ridiculous slow and poorly timed. In fact one of our dishes never made it to the table 1 hour later!! Food bland and not worth the price.
Loved it. So glad I got to experience this place. Def will be back!
Loved our experience. Great food and service. COVID protocols were firmly in place making us feel confident eating there.
Food was good but the kitchen service is incredibly slow. Went on a Tuesday night and didn’t get all our food until 3 hours later. If you didn’t get a seat at the counter / omakase table your whole experience is just going to be waiting for food all night long.
Ordered the chef menu with the hope of trying all the best they have to offer. Super disappointed with lots of chicken plates with similar taste in a 15 course menu. It was the most boring menu. Will not go back.
We were sitting there and waiting for food too long to be
Excellent for an authentic Yakatori experience. Great place for meat lovers. Everything on the menu is very flavorful. We enjoyed our dinner before heading out to a Broadway show. Prices are reasonable.
Loved every food that we ordered
Really amazing and just like in Japan! Incredible sake list too.
Absolutely Best Yakitori restaurant combine NYC and Tokyo.
We enjoyed the meal and server was helpful. the yakitori chicken pieces tasted somewhat bland and perhaps too well done compared to our past experience. The arrangement of the restrooms should be reconsidered as my wife was very disturbed by a man coming out of the so-called mixed use bathroom, especially when the other one across is labeled “men”.
Honestly the most incredible dining experience I have ever had. The chicken was unbelievable. We are from Maryland and would make a trip to NYC just to eat here again. Truly magical and out of this world.
Great service and food! $75 omakase was good value to taste a bit of everything, and we were full
The room upstairs is claustrophobic. We each ordered the $70 menu but did not have the total yakitori skewers that the menu said. Chicken skin and tofu ?
The waitress was very nice but it was difficult to understand her. Big bill but not a good experience unlike other times where we were downstairs and had great food.
Exceptional yakitori, just like what you would get in japan
Come for the yakitori. Brilliant! They have a small but very nice selection of sakes as well!
Always great to return. Outstanding food and wonderful service.
Amazing dinner! We did the 10 skewers which was the perfect amount of food and all delicious. Wonderful staff and the space makes you feel like you are in Japan.
Definetely a good place to go, deliecious and high quality.
Took one hour and 20 minutes for our first appetizer dish nobody offered drink menu and we had to ask for help for 400$ bill is not ok
I visited with a friend and we both had ten skewers omakase and split a bottle of wine. The timing for the servers to bring out yakitori/skewers was impeccable, and I (as a previous restaurant worker) know that it's a very hard thing to do! Food was beyond delicious and wonderful with the dry Riesling. Will definitely come again.
Food is incredible. Phenomenal. The skill and artistry of the chicken masters is without equal in NYC. Very authentic Japanese experience. A little pricey for (admittedly high end) street food, especially with sochu thrown in...but pretty worth it.
Highly recommend but just don't tell them it's a birthday thing. It's embarrassing and I don't think the chef likes it. When the birthday candle came out, the chef said Seriously?
It made him and the other chefs stop working just to clap and sing. But the chicken is good and worth going back for more. The icecream was packed tight and texture was not creamy so I'll get something else next time.
The service was very good, but the food was pretty bad. For that price, you have a lots of wonderful restaurants to choose. Very disappointed for the food.
The food and service were 5/5! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a top tier Japanese restaurant in Manhattan
Love LOVED our dining experience. Good was fantastic, server was amazing, sake selection was on point, bathrooms were spotless, vibes were likely. We would absolutely visit again.
It's expensive but a very accurate experience compared to high end yakitori in Japan.
amazing quality from start to finish...I mean, how do you get every bite of meat to be so perfect?!? This place is very special.
Food is fantastic. Pricing a little on the high side if you opt in for all the specials which are not part of the standard skewer fixed menu.. Service was impeccable. My wife and I had a great time. We did not have any alcohol so can't comment on that.
The food was delicious. I took the course meal for $100, it is worth it. I will come back again
Awesome, delicious, genuine Yakitori, with unusual seasonal specials! Feels like being in Tokyo! Exceptional experience.
The air conditioning in their upstairs dining doesn't work.
We had great time for dinner.
The service and yakitori and appetizer were top notch.
This yakitori is authentic. Their services are quite friendly and helpful with good recommendations.
Had around 7-8 chicken skewers out of the 10 skewers served in the Chef’s choice. Wasn’t here to pay $100 for that much chicken.
