We dine here quite often as the fish is fresh and delicious. The specials are always wonderful as well. We prefer sitting at the sushi bar so we can watch the chefs prepare the beautiful sushi rolls. This is our favorite place for sushi.
Sushi was amazing as always!!
Amazing sushi the best!
We came here for Omakassi. The waitress was not knowledgeable but polite in finding out more about what the chef wanted to provide for us. It was clear that alot of patrons did not order from this section of the menu. The ambiance/feel of the place was nice... But I mean it is located in Mizner how could it not be...overall it was pretty good but the Omakassi was a bit uninspired as it was mostly sashimi.
Great food and service.
We sat outside and found the service extremely slow. We had to flag down staff to get attention, although everyone was very nice.
Yakitori is one of our favorite places, where we go pretty much once every week. And this time was as good as any time before.
I highly recommend a selection of their first-class appetizers, their sushi and, last but by no means least, the Peking duck.
We had the blue crab Rangoon and lettuce wraps! Both were great. We also had several rolls and the Yakitori fried rice. Quality was exceptional, sushi was fresh and the presentation was fabulous.
Second time that we have been there. Well known for Sushi, though we are not really big Sushi eaters. I think it's more Asian Fusion then Japanese. Appetizers we had was excellent as well as
the Thai Curry we had as a main course. Over all best asian cuisine that we have had in Boca.
Love the place. We go there quite often great food.
Took an hour to get sushi!!
Sushi and sashimi fresh and beautifully presented, and cooked food delicious as well.
All 4 of us enjoyed our dinners. Friends said they would definitely come back!
Great sushi parking is a huge issue. Be ready for valet. It's really the only option.
Lunch get together with 5 out of town friends. We wanted a reasonable restaurant with good food and a variety of Thai/sushi options. We all ordered different lunch specials and everyone was very satisfied with the quality and cost of their meal. It was a beautiful day so we sat on their terrace for quite a while and were not at all pressured to leave.
White tuna with truffle is amazing- lots of delicious offerings that you will not find at other sushi restaurants
Always a fantastic meal!
Yakitori has many unusual sushi rolls. I had the redbud combine both large pieces of fresh tuna and chopped spicy tuna and was delicious. There were a number of roles that had mango in them that certainly sounded interesting. Others in my party are very experienced sushi eaters and have eaten in the finest sushi restaurants in Japan and were very very happy with this restaurant
Great menu —-
Good selection of sake. and the service was awesome.
Very expensive and small portions! Food was fresh. I had the sashimi plate and it came with miso soup for 28$. The waitress could not exchange soup for a dinner salad. Good for drinks and tapas. Poor value
Hands down best sushi I have ever had.
The hostess/ owner could have been friendlier. I made the reservation, but she treated us as though we had walked in off the street, seating us at a table in the far corner of the restaurant.
Amazing food! Dinner lasted over 2 hours due to slow service . Luckily we were in no rush
Incredibly slow inattentive service. Food was just OK. Drinks took far too long. Completely average experience.
They helped my fiancé pull off a beautiful surprise wedding on Valentine’s Day! Memories to last a lifetime.
Love the diversity of the menu and the ambiance - we love the private booth in the back -
Food is great. Parking is really becoming difficult. Valet takes a while but food is still worth it.
The food was nicely prepared and attractively presented. The service was very nice, however the decorations are just pleasant but no glam .
Bottom line is we would return.
Good sushi!! Awesome lunch & happy hour specials!
Mediocre sushi place. Service was prompt and friendly, but the food was just okay at best, and the neon red/green/blue ambiance is a bit iffy. Didn't help it was dead on a Thursday night. I'd eat there again, but I wouldn't go out of my way.
Met a friend in Boca for dinner. We tried this because they had robato so it's an easy option for me because I'm vegan. Although the restaurant was very slow, our server seemed beyond rushed and that we were almost an annoyance when we didn't even ask a question. The food overall was mediocre. They were out of the sake my friend wanted but the one they had was still good.
We ordered edamame, it was fine- standard edamame. I ordered the robato mushroom, asparagus and shishito pepper. The mushroom was virtually inedible- just not a good flavor at all. The robato shishito pepper and asparagus were good. My friend, a non-vegan, also got the peppers. She said they were much better WITHOUT the bonita flakes than with (she tried mine also). I asked for them without any sauce on but mine was still was very salty.
My friends roll was fine- again mediocre. She only ate half of the roll. We did finish our drinks though ; ). Overall the experience was average.
Great combinations of Asian cuisine served beautifully. Can't wait to go back!
Loved the patio atmosphere. Service was superb. Sushi and appetizers were delicious. Great location, walking distance to theater and shopping.
Very good food. I was a bit reluctant when i saw the diversity of the menu but we i has pleasantly suprised. Being 4 people we ordered diver things (whole fish, duck and sushi) and all were amazing. Service could have been better as we had to pour our own sake for most of the night bit not a big deal. A must in boca.
I have eaten at Yakitori many times. I live in the neighborhood and really enjoy the menu. We had a reservation for dinner at 7 pm and had requested an indoor table not near the door, so getting in and getting a table seemed like it should have been a no brainer. Not so much. When my friend and I arrived on time for dinner, we immediately noticed that there was only one table left - the one that was closest to the door and in the busiest area of the restaurant. We did not want that table and saw that another table was opening further inside, so we asked for that one. We were told that it was not available as a larger party was being accommodated there and that we were welcome to sit at the sushi bar for dinner. We ended up doing this and had a great meal, but this is something that this restaurant is known for doing. Why take reservations if you are not going to welcome your guests and accommodate their advance requests? Come on Yakitori, learn to treat your customers as guests. Have the proper table set. Or don't bother with reservations.
Family New Years Eve dinner was fantastic! Food and service were both perfect!
Peking duck was better than average but not amazing. Filet was great. Items were forgotten and we had to remind waiter. It was a very busy Christmas evening, however, so we would most likely return to give another chance!
We always enjoy this restaurant. The owner is very friendly and the food is always great.
Nice, fresh sushi rolls and platters but also choices for the non sushi eaters
Excellent and authentic Japanese sushi, rolls, and all sorts of dishes for the whole family.
