Always a pleasure and delicious! I take my kids each week for dinner.
A wonderful experience. All around. Special
What a wonderful experience for my birthday! Cannot wait to visit again.
Great service and quality
Great experience overall, but we had to wait 20 minutes for our tables in spite of the reservation - which is not acceptable at a place with this price level.
Really just amazing all around although more Korean influenced than Japanese.
Food delicious and service excellent. The table dividers between patron is moveable and didn’t seem safe for Covid.
The proximity between customers was a bit too close for safety especially during Covid times.
The volume in restaurant got louder and louder through the night as more patrons came in.
We had dinner on the street so you couldn't say the noise level was only moderate. But, since my friend and I were the sole occupants of the streetside hut I'll say it was anyway. And with that said, the meal was excellent! Grilled beef tongue, mushrooms, and sake for appetizers, and very barely grilled wagyu beef (I've forgotten the cut) for the main course. A little pricey but you are getting what you paid for - exceedingly tasty and tender beef. The manager herself took care of our table, and she was charming. I will go again.
The cuts of meat are top quality.
Food was delicious and always have a good time when we dine here.
They have outdoor seating on the street in front of the restaurant but we ended up inside which they had dividers between tables. Great service and very authentic since we noticed lots of Japanese groups dined there. Portions are small and expensive but you’ll still be able to fill up.
It’s worth trying the food out. The expensive ones definitely taste good but they are a little bit pricy if you order too much.
We were there for my brother’s birthday and it was a very pleasant experience. Food was delicious and server was very hospitable and friendly.
This was my husband's birthday party celebration and Yakiniku Futago exceeded our expectations. Now during COVID restaurants suffer the most and in some places it affects the service but not here!!! They sat us in the private room (I did mention it was a birthday celebration but didn't ask for a specific arrangement), waiter and the other staff were above and beyond and the food is absolutely delicious!!! Definitely recommend for a date night, special occasion or just dinner with excellent Japanese bbq...
It was affordable than I expected. Food was very authentic. Love this restaurant.
This restaurant is so amazing. The wagyu is the best I've ever tried . The service is amazing. The cultural background and structure of meal display is unique. I loved every dish I tried. The treasure box was so cool , Highly recommended for anyone wanting A class Japanese cuisine or the best wagyu dishes.
Food was delicious. Had to ask how procedure worked with grilling meats, veggies etc. Our waiter was covering a lot of tables! Manager did stop by to see how meal was going.
Perfect Japanese Yakiniku experience!
The outdoor set up felt private and enjoyable. The grill was outside so we were able to cook everything, so fun! The wagyu and short rib were so tasty. Sushi was delicious too. We had Yuku martinis and the sake both good. I recommend a meal here!
Great food and service! The environment is good and the social distance is enforced, will visit in the future!
Good meat !!
We had a great time.
I will recommend this restaurant!!
Loved the private cabin for us
We ordered rice, meats and veggies but the rice did not come until long after the veggies and meats came and everything was cooked. It was awkward timing to have all the veggies and meats out but no rice to eat it with. I know pandemic dining must be hard but they could have held off bringing the food until the rice was coming since the rice is meant to be eaten with the meat and veggies and not as a separate side dish. We ate outside, for a little bit, there must have been a smoker outside because we smelled cigarettes for a little bit while eating. The staff was nice and helpful.
It was great except the treasure box run out of dry ice! Love the service it was great! Meat is super!!!
Amazing food, atmosphere, staff, and place to have a birthday celebration.
Highly suggest the Wagyu. Phenomenal all around. Super friendly, helpful staff. 5 stars.
Every experience I have experience there has become greater and greater where it makes me and my fiancé feel like as if we’re at home throughout Covid there’s not many places that we went at all but we couldn’t wait for this place to reopen to come back and visit and then remembered us months after we you first showed up that for us is a great experience and feeling and knowing that were loved and cared for and safety is all we care about Welty’s wicked times
Class act. Staff are friendly. Food is stellar
Beyond outstanding. Amazing food and amazing service.
I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday. It was nice and spacious with the covid requirements. The staff were phenomenal. The food was exceptional. We had a wonderful time and will certainly be back.
The kalbi, pork shoulder and beef tongue were delicious! Wagyu sushi was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent and the outdoor setup is well done.
The service is great and the uni wayu ju blows my mind. The combo of tender fatty waygu (almost sashimi like), rich uni and the perfect chewy tasty rice, I would definitely come back again just for that. Thick beef tongue is interesting, as they say, you could get thin beef tongue anywhere, but thick is rare to find. It is great experience if you enjoy the chewy texture of a tongue lol. Lemon juice and lil over grill helps to reduce the unpleasant taste from it, overall, I find thick beef tongue is very interesting experience!
Great food and great service!
The food was very, very good and all the staff was friendly and attentive. However, it was WAY OVERPRICED. We paid nearly $300 for two people (no alcohol), and we left hungry. We did have the Wagyu which is pricey, but we have had this before at other restaurants and left without feeling fleeced. Will not be going back.
I love this place! Best restaurant in NYC. Quality of food is so amazing. Even though I have gone multiple times, it tastes just as exciting each time
The overall atmosphere is very neat food, friendly staff and, and best of all, The Wagyu meat is almost perfect. It melted in my mouth and I couldn't even chew it properly lol...
in the end, I ate more than I had planned. I recommend you go and try it.!
One of the best place to go for wagyu. Luxuriant interior, super friendly servers, and high quality ingredients. Definitely recommend for special occasions and celebrations. Ultimate Japanese dining experience.
Amazing experience and dining
it was an amazing experience and the manager was so accommodating! the waitress we had gave wonderful recommendations as well and she was very lovely. definitely would come here again and have already recommended my friends to this place
