Bright, warm and friendly, the Yak and Yeti is a fun Nepalese and Tibetan restaurant tucked away inside Orpington’s Mary Rose hotel on the High Street. Spacious inside, the dining room has cosmopolitan style punctuated with Italian designer lights, red and magnolia walls and a large bar ideal for pre/post dinner drinks. The food wasdelicious and the service was great but the plece is totally lacking in atmosphere. However, I will be visiting again as it is fantastic value for money.

A nice selection of dishes, well cooked, tender and tasty. Was very quiet for a Friday evening which suited us with a child in our group, but might not suit those looking for a "party" atmosphere.

Went last night Yak n Yeti, The food is good and the price is decent. But the service is very slow, have to wait almost 30-35 minutes for main course to come after finishing the starters. And for the bill almost 30 minutes beacuse when ever the staff about to bring PDQ machine to our table to charge. His phone start ringing and went back for taking orders happened three times. In the end i have to get up and paid on the till. Very bad customer service.

Very friendly staff, although they find communicating in English was clearly a challenge. Food was quite good, but over priced really. Place was virtually empty, so easy to get served.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Yak n Yeti on Friday night.It was far larger than expected and the staff most friendly, helpful and professional. We found the menu extensive but well explained, food was delicious, and although our choice of French wine wasn't available, we chose a very acceptable bottle from Chile - all served with a smile! Downside was the high level of noise but perhaps this is down to room accoustics.NB this restaurant is in High Street, St Mary Cray not High Street Orpington.

We visited Yak n Yeti in Orpington early on a Sunday evening. The staff were very welcoming. The pace was lovely and leisurely so we had lots of time to investigate the diverse menu. Despite a slight mix up over our order ( which was quickly and very apologetically resolved)I can safely say we had a thoroughly lovely evening with exceptional food and service ( we struggled to decline the complimentary drink). We will, I am sure be regulars ( particularly for the Momo's).Already recommended ++
