Xiandu Thai Fusion Cuisine
Great time, thanks!
Food was amazing, service was stellar, and atmosphere was nice. Clean and welcoming environment. Will definitely go back.
Great good and attentive service.
This was my first time here having dinner and I had brought some friends there who haven’t been there either and the food was outstanding . I had the special which was shrimp with squash in a light curry sauce which was absolutely delicious plus we had the appetizers steamed dumplings that were delicious they were vegetarian and we also had a vegetarian sumner roll which was delicious everything was on point I will be back again
Good service and nice variety on the menu.
Food was really good!
Great food and atmosphere...seating is a little crowded, but overall an amazing place to dine out in Center City. Loved it!
Excellent food and service! I highly recommend and will definitely be back!
A delightful restaurant within walking distance of the convention center. The food was delicious and they accommodated our party of 8 very easily. Great service. Don't skip the dessert!
The food was very good and the choices were ample. Our server was pleasant and attentive enough. It is close enough to the Walnut Street Theater that we walked there for lunch prior to our matinee. We had a large, loud group next to us. Acoustics are bad so conversation was difficult. Prices are very good. I will go back.
Had a wonderful meal here with a large group. Service was excellent, food was really good - although we did have a couple of not too fab options (soup was cold, spring rolls really greasy). Atmosphere was open and friendly, will come back again!
First visit a few weeks ago was terrific, great curry. Returned a few days ago, had Pad Thai which was disappointing. Would try once more, but avoid the Pad Thai- overly sweet and sticky.
Excellent, Food is amazing and a great value,
The wings and dumplings were
The only things I didn’t like.there was no trouble returning them for another item! Rest of the meal was delicious especially the duck tacos.
The food was delicious, we had fried calamari and shrimp which were both good. The beef dish and the shrimp curry were very delicious too. But the staff were the ones who were great, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend it.
Seated on time. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food served hot. Would certainly go again.
Xiandu is our new go to Asian restaurant in center city! Great way to end the year with our Christmas dinner!
Bonnie and Peter are terrific hosts. We highly recommend Xiandu.
go there almost every week - best Thai in town; service always attentive, can request spiciness level; just delicious
The food and service were awesome but you need to change the seating it's lumpy and ripped up.
Very very nice staff also very accommodating when you need to be seated before your party arrives for reservations. The food is wonderful and so are the portions.
The service was outstanding. The menu is terrific.
Poor service, impatient waiter / hard to get our waiter's attention regularly, and very loud restaurant (hard to hear across the table)
Flavorful food, interesting menu choices, good cocktails and good service. Very noisy when full so not the best place for conversation. Would go back.
What a pleasant dinner we enjoyed there. The waitress was attentive and genuinely friendly.! The food was excellent. My husband and I both ordered the crispy rolls as an appetizer and the pan yang curry: he with chicken, me with tofu. We will definitely dine at Xiandu again!
I found nothing special about the food here. If you have an allergy or sensitivity to MSG be sure to inquire about its use before ordering. They use it in some dishes.
The food was really good! My boyfriend and I shared one soup, a salad, and appetizer, and an entree. The Tom Khaa soup was out of this world. Everything was crisp and fresh.
We selected this restaurant because it is vegan-friendly. I was very pleased that our waiter was knowledgeable about vegan eating and what the menu offers for vegans. He pointed out not just one dish but several that I could eat as a vegan. In addition, the food was very good, the service was excellent and the overall restaurant experience was really very pleasant.
My family, including two kids, had a great experience on a Saturday evening at this restaurant. The food was great and the server was really helpful. I highly recommend Xiandu.
Such good food. Great service. The lemongrass sauteed and lettuce wraps were both healthy and delicious. Would definitely go back.
Tasty food. Calamari had tentacles (which I love). Service was prompt and responsive.
We really enjoyed our pre-show dinner. The service was great. We had cocktails, appetizers and entrees that were tasty. Our only suggestion would be to replace the shrimp shumai with a house made version as your house made offerings are great. The restaurant is so convenient for pre-theatre meals. We would definitely come again.
Dinner after Musical
Excellent service, food and value. Convenient location for Forrest Theater! Not too crowded after a matinée performance, but as it became more crowded, the noise level increased dramatically. We sat in a corner that had a dirt smudge on the wall that was unpleasant and would be easy to clean or paint over. There is no decor except for orange/coral walls. Minimalist in style, but wall at eye level of diners should be cleaned. Despite that minor complaint, I would be delighted to return.
Picked this place for its proximity to the Forrest Theater (right across the street) and it didn’t disappoint! Ordered a variety of appetizers which were all very enjoyable and the value of the entrees was unbeatable! Great service as well.
Good food at reasonable price. The chicken satay was just OK. The pad Thai was very good. The parang curry was a standout.
We were out with friends and wanted a Thai restaurant. We had never been to Xiandu, but are glad we went. Though the service was a bit cursory, the food and value were excellent.
We were a party of four, two couples. We both got caught in traffic and were late, but the restaurant was very gracious in holding our table. Two of us ordered the shrimp pad thai. It was a lot of food. There were 5 shrimp that I could find. It was a little too sweet for me. Another of our party ordered the chicken salad and proclaimed it was delicious. Also ordered was the split pea soup which was very good. I had the Tom Kha soup which I really loved.
Very accommodating staff. Enjoyable food. My only disappointment was that the restaurant does not donate gift cards to non-profits, which not only would help the nonprofit also market the restaurant to other diners.
There was a group of 6 and we shared 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. The food was good, especially the appetizers.
