X2O Xaviars on the Hudson
One of our go to restaurant. Love the place. Very consistent.
My family and I went to celebrate my birthday last Sunday and everything in there was great, the food, the drinks and the staff! specially one of the employees Caesar, he took excellent care of us. We definitely will come back soon!
Must try nice upscale atmosphere with excellent food and service
Enjoyed our recent anniversary celebration at X2O. There was something for everyone. The poke appetizer was delicious. Then, we all enjoyed sharing and tasting each other's dishes...from the duck and hanger steak, to the scallops and pork to the daily special pasta. Everything was served together and the staff continued to check on us often. Dessert was a grand finale.
Everything about our experience was phenomenal. We were given a table right by the window which let us enjoy the beautiful views. The service was attentive, but not overbearing, and all of the food was delicious. It was a perfect place for celebrating our anniversary.
So disappointing! Started with a ride in the elevator that we had to hold our breath in as the odor was so bad. Not to mention it was 90degrees in there. We arrived to a beautiful round table. Service was very slow. AppetiZers arrived fairly quickly. Portions were small and food mediocre at best. We waited for another hour and a half to get our entrees. The waiter told us he was going to the kitchen to “scream”. Manager said an oven was broken. Entrees arrived Luke warm; duck was inedible and was not eaten. The manager covered our drinks and dessert but overall that couldn’t compensate for the disappointment all around. The restaurant itself appears tired and is in need of a complete overhaul. This is not the Peter Kelly we once loved. Hope that something changes .... quickly.
Excellent food, excellent service, overall a terrific experience
The views of the Hudson facing the NYC skyline from Yonkers are beautiful, esp from the windows in the (ladies) restroom of all places!
As always, X20 never disappoints. We were a party of 6 and everyone was very pleased with their selections. The table was, as requested, by the window for a water view. We were celebrating a milestone
birthday and a wonderful time was had by all. Food was really delicious, service terrific and ambiance perfect.
Great food, great atmosphere, great staff made for a Great Night❤️
The food is fresh and delicious. The flavors are remarkable! Highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant once. You’ll revisit again, as we have!
This used to be where I took people I wanted to impress. Now I go for the delectable food and wonderful service. From the time you enter, the service is like a perfectly timed ballet. Each course is better than the last, and served by staff who move like ninjas. They seem to appear out of nowhere with each course and re-appear to check on your every possible need. Usually with such marvelous entrees, the dessert is lacking. That is assuredly not the case here. The desserts are not only works of art, but perfect endings to any meal. I have not a negative thing to say about this restaurant. I can easily understand why Chef Kelley beat Bobby Flay on Iron Chef America. His recipes are all amazing.
Went for brunch with my wife to celebrate my birthday. Brunch is a wonderful 3 course meal with unlimited Prosecco and passed hors d'oeuvres. It’s pricy but special. I recommend it for a special occasion
I had made the reservation more than a month before, but when we showed up, they had put us in the Hudson room upstairs. I wish I had known in advance because this room is smaller and doesn’t have as nice a view as the main area.
Also, the room looked really outdated and desperately needs a paint job.
I’ve been going there for years and feel like it definitely needs to be updated but overall a nice experience.
Once again, Peter Kelly delivered.
Our service was outstanding, no less than 4 people helped served us.
We had octopus and the seafood crepe for our apps. I had the scallops and my wife had the special lamb entree. There was a potato scallopini under the lamb that was truly delicious and I’m not a potato fan. All of our food was great and served on time.
I’ve dined at all Peter Kelly’s restaurants and I’m never disappointed, well done sir.
I love the service and food was delicious. The only suggestion I would make is to change the music station. When we were they were playing pop-music which doesn’t fit the overall ambiance of this place.
Never had a bad meal. Food is amazing and also is the service. Love this place.
Cannot beat the ambience or the excellent service. Much attention is paid to detail . The chef's creations absolutely outstanding. Can't wait to go back
We keep coming back and it is getting even better. The lunch deal is one of the best buys in town, although brunch and dinner are very worthwhile. Somehow the food, which has always been delicious, was even better this time around. Appetizers of watermelon salad (a special), risotto, and mousseline of liver were enjoyed by all three. Main courses of duck confit (two of us) and sirloin, were perfectly made. Two different desserts - Belgian chocolate tart and strawberry trifle complete with outstanding coffee and one had a delightful afternoon.
A big shout out to Susannah, an incredibly personable and knowledgeable, and long time member of the waitstaff. Service is always impeccable at Peter Kelly's establishments.
The food was delicious and plates were colorful. Service was slow but staff was friendly and personable. Towards the end of our meal it took a long while to get our check and pay. It seems they were more focused on setting up tables and cleaning then attending to the remaining tables in the restaurant. Overall, I will visit again.
Beautiful view of Hudson River. Very good food, excellent service, nice atmosphere. We are very pleased and recommend this restaurant to go there for lunch or dinner. Enjoy the great view of Hudson River.
Great food at a reasonable price when using the Groupon deal. Seafood crepe appetizer was awesome. Chicken Kiev was flavorful and juicy. Service was courteous and knowledgeable. Ambiance overlooking the Hudson River is a plus. Only downside is the overpriced bar.
As always, the evening was special. We are lucky to have such a dining experience available.
Best Sunday brunch anywhere. The food was phenomenal, and the service great. Your glass will never empty .
The bartender was not good, and a bit rude. The service at the table was better, but in general, for the price, the overall experience could have been much better.
The restaurant was highly-touted by a friend; but failed to meet my expectations. Except for the view on the Hudson, the experience at the restaurant was unremarkable. Parking (valet) was not very good. The wait staff must have asked me 5 times if I wanted another drink during dinner. Once they even approached my wife who still have wine in her glass. Will not reserve again.
The wife's birthday dinner (seafood crepe and duck breast with sushi rice) was outstanding; the sushi rice -- with flavors of cabbage, onion, and peppers -- was truly inspired. The duck, reminiscent of bifteck au poivre, was tender and cooked to perfection. BThe husband's tuna poke was also creative, fun and delicious; but the hyped evening special of baked halibut was skimpy and dry with minimal presentation but good spinach. The chocolate cake was delicious and attractively presented, the creme brûlée was delicious, and the birthday "extra" lovely to look at and very tasty. The wine was good, a pleasant accompaniment to a [mostly] fine dinner. Thanks for a very enjoyable birthday evening.
I love this place. Food is delicious! Views are stunning!
X20 is an absolutely wonderful place to go for a special occasion, to meet friends, or just a nice dinner. I've been there many times, and the food is always top notch. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect review this time, was because it took a little bit of time to settle the check and I finally had to get up from my table to chase down a waiter to hand over my credit card. If it was absolutely crowded I would understand it, but it was only moderately crowded, so that was surprising. Otherwise the service was attentive and terrific.
Very good food, fresh and tasty.
Nice atmosphere, very good deal with Groupon. Overall very upscale dining experience
Great food, lovely view, good service, valet parking.
The lunch was delicious and the service was impeccable.
Beautiful room; beautiful view over the Hudson River; excellent menu; excellent food; impeccable service; easy to get to by RR from Manhattan. A perfect place to take friends for lunch to celebrate their respective birthdays.
Food was excellent as expected. Service was prompt and courteous. I ordered the ravioli appetizer and lamp specials, my wife a peach salad and pork two ways. We shared and loved everything. Only negative was the valet service not associated with the restaurant; seemed disorganized and chaotic.
I went with my family for Sunday brunch and while I still think the place would be better for dinner the amazing ambiance and service stood out. Food was delicious! Keep up the good work!
Very good service, Exelent food , one of the best brunch ever .
Incredible staff, food and ambiance.
We went to Xavier’s to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we had a lovely time. The service was impeccable both attentive and unobtrusive. The food was delicious. For appetizers we had the special raviolis and the seafood crepe which I highly recommend. My husband had the flank steak and I had the halibut which was a special; both were outstanding and cooked as requested. For dessert we had the bread pudding and the pot of chocolate; both were delicious. I must note that the coffee is outstanding. We had a beautiful view of the river from our table as the sun was setting. The dining room was busy enough to have a nice buzz but we were able to have a conversation easily.
We highly recommend X2O for a special occasion.
Service and ambiance was excellent. The food left something to be desired.
