We have enjoyed dining at X2O Restaurant for many years.
The combination of location, food and service have always made for an enjoyable experience.
Highly recommnmed it!
Everything was perfect, the food wine service and view were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food from start to finish and phenomenal service ! What a great view.
Delicious food, excellent service, good value, beautiful setting. The five of us loved this restaurant and will most definitely dine there again.
The experience was very good. Staff was polite an courteous. Food was fair and the drinks list was very impressive. My wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience.
We would comeback a second time for a second opinion to verify if our experience was what we thought it was. Thanks so much for a lovely evening.
We just had the most beautiful anniversary dinner here. The food was delicious, the ambiance and view were perfect. The service was first-class. Everyone with whom we interacted was warm, knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Special thanks to Xavier, William, Angelie, and Tyler for outstanding service. We will be back for sure. We almost didn’t book here because I am vegetarian and there weren’t any vegetarian items on the menu but don’t let that stop you! The restaurant is wonderful and made something for off the menu with zero hesitation.
Excellent ambiance and culinary delights! Looking forward to going back!
My friends could not say enough about the food, it was so delicious and amazing. The service was impeccable and the view of the Hudson was stunning. Everyone thanked me multiple times for coordinating this lunch. We will be back soon.
The meal and atmosphere was very nice. The lighting however was a little dark to see.
Love the ambience but the food was not flavorful at all. Service was very polite but way too slow.
Food was amazing!
Never disappointed! We were all happy with our apps and entrees! Cosmos were yummy too0
Last night me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary! We were seated outside which was beautiful. We waited 45 minutes until someone came and asked for our drink order. Our server was very nice and I don’t want to blame this all on him but it was down hill after that. We ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner, the server poured our first cup and never brought the wine back to our table. We were finished with our meal by the time he remembered to bring our bottle of wine back to our table because he was going to get a wine stand to chill the wine. We also never got our side of risotto until both of our meals were done and taken away, which was still on our bill. We both are in this industry so we under stand how crazy it can be. But there was a lot of things that went wrong. I normally never write this things but for an amazing restaurant the staff was not okay! The chef at your restaurant also came to eat at goose feathers where my boyfriend works and he took care of him there.
The restaurant is gorgeous. Ate inside for the first time and liked it better than the outside.
Food choices are excellent.
My sister and I wanted to take our husbands someplace special for their birthdays, which were six months apart but had not been properly celebrated during COVID. We picked the right place. On a beautiful summer night, we sat outside overlooking the Hudson and watching the sunset. The food was fabulous as was the service and the ambiance. In particular, I loved the Mediterranean Sea Bass, which was one of the specials. We went on a Wednesday evening and had a great menu with so many wonderful choices. We all agreed that it was an exceptional dining experience.
No complaints. Liked prix fixe menu. We had two entrees that were not on the menu (soft shell crab and sirloin) and were happy.
Very nice, we went for lunch and it was very quiet, beautiful views and the staff was exceptional. I will be back.
Visiting my former home town.
Fantastic experience. The food was incredible.
Sunday early evening could not get valet parking. They were full at 5:30. Had to park on street of Yonkers blocks away.
Amazing place to have Sunday brunch… this is the second time I have been here and everytime I come they make me feel comfortable and I am never rushed.. I will always be back..
Excellent location and views, superb service, very good wine list and drinks, and absolutely amazing food! Highly recommend!
We went to celebrate our anniversary. Everything about the evening was special...from the service to the ambiance to the food and drinks. Portions were generous. My wife and I both had the grilled octopus, which was cooked perfectly and quite delicious. My wife had two appetizers for her dinner. I chose the braised short ribs as my entree. It was spectacular. Can't wait to go back again and bring friends to share in this wonderful experience.
I have been dining at X20 since it opened over 10 years ago, ands Peter Kelly's other
resturants for over 25 years. The expereinece, the service, the food is always constistantly very good, memorable dining experience, never been disappointed, When chosing a place to dine out, X20 should be at the top of your list.
We took friends out to dinner as a thank you for doing us a special favor. We had a very special dinner with a spectacular view and excellent service along with excellent food
Great experience! Will be back!
Love this restaurant. Great food and ambiance and the views!
Outstanding as usual. Can’t wait to return for another wonderful meal.
At first the menu may seem pricey, but the value for the money is excellent. In my party of four, all appetizers, entrees and desserts were outstanding. Service was pleasant and attentive, and the view from the dining room looking out over the Hudson was beautiful. Can't wait to go back!
The food, the views and the drinks were superb for brunch on a lazy Sunday morning. Easy access and parking available as well, but most importantly, you leave the place satisfied with the quality and delicious food you just enjoyed. We will be coming back very soon
Everything about our dining experience was wonderful! Fabulous Manhattan’s to start, exquisite choices of breads, creative and delicious appetizers, and excellent entrées. It is our “go-to”special occasion dining destination. Finally, the wait staff was not only professional but also gracious, kind and accommodating!
The service was very slow.
Amazing food, good service. Waiter forgot my beer, but other than that, great overall experience.
Food was great but service was uneven. Drinks came out really late and it took a while before the server came to take our order. But the food was very good. If they can fix service issues it would get 5 stars from me.
You go here for the view. Aside from the bread roll being stale the rest of the food was very tasty, but the portions are very, very small. Beet salad consisted of one beet cut into 5 small pieces with pistachios and not enough feta - nothing else other than dressing. The wait staff was good, however, there were a few hic-cup like serving bread and having to ask for butter, telling the waiter we needed "only 1 more minute" to decide what to order and then being ignored, and waiting a long time to get the first drink despite the restaurant being less than half full. The view was beautiful though.
I thought the food was mediocre and for the price, outrageous. The bread was stale, and when we asked for fresh bread, more stale bread was brought to us. No apology given. My entrée was not as described on the menu, but no explanation was offered about that. The servers were extremely pleasant, but service was uneven in terms of timing. When the table next to us left, their dirty dishes were left for us to look at for the remainder of our meal. We have been fans of Peter Kelly restaurants for over 20 years. This was a huge disappointment.
We’ve been before and do live this place. The view is spectacular! We sat facing south toward the GW bridge and Manhattan, right on the Hudson! The food was excellent. For apps we ordered the short rib/ foie gras ravioli and the Chinese dumplings with shrimp and bacon. Both delicious! I had the short rib with truffle mashed potatoes and roasted cauliflower while my wife and son had the Miso Salmon with orzo and vegetable ragout. The short ribs were cooked perfectly, falling apart into the potatoes for the perfect bite. My only bone of contention was the condition of the room itself. The backs of some of the chairs were stained, the carpet looked a bit old and worn and a urinalysis in the men’s room was flooded. The decór needs sprucing up, especially for a restaurant of this caliber and price point.
Overall X2O is a beautiful spot. The fresh flowers everywhere and presentation of everything from the menu to the food playing was just gorgeous. Sadly that’s where the compliments kinda end.
In hindsight, I should give them a bit more credit because when I spoke to the host to confirm my arrival time and party size they mentioned they were coming off a crazy brunch and private booking. But what did that have to do with the length of time it took between clearing our appetizer dishes to bringing out the entrees? Or how long it took to actually get drinks… refill our water glass? Or my favorite, when we asked for the check and no one collected my credit card, we waited almost 20 minutes! In the end we paid using ApplePay and still no one arrived to let us know that we were good and they received the payment on their end.
What about the food? The presentation alone was flawless and Instagram worthy. It was actually tasty, not earth shattering. But considering how hard it is to find Asian-fusion restaurants and my party and I definitely did enjoy the large majority of our meal. Those Chinese dumplings were DIVINE!! Wasn’t a fan of my incredibly bland duck, or overcooked rice pilaf (that was NOT fried rice, but it was seasoned wonderfully.)
Would I go back? Possibly, but it would have to be during the week when I’d feel more confident I wouldn’t be overlooked, it wasn’t a fun experience otherwise. Swamped or not, no diner wants to feel like they have to flag down someone for every little thing. If there was a problem in the kitchen, someone could’ve said something or at least refilled the water glass and not waited until we asked for a to-go carton.
Yes, I’m still peeved about the bill. It honestly could’ve been interpreted as I didn’t bother to pay because no one checked to see if we wanted to pay via card or even explained about the paperless option.
Our time at the bar and then dinner was excellent!
