X2O Xaviars on the Hudson
Too crowded. Food was like warm.
I have been to X20 many times but my favorite of all is going to their Sunday Brunch. It truly is one of the best brunch experiences you will ever have. Peter Kelly always tries to give you "something new" instead of the same old brunch menu. Everyone of his appetizers, entrees and desserts are great but what is really great is when the waiter or waitress comes around with "little extras" like mushroom ravioli, coconut shrimp, sushi and baby lamp chops to compliment the main items. Let's not forget the unlimited Champagne Cocktails!!!! Last but not least IS THE SERVICE!!! Everyone including PETER KELLY make it a point to see that everything is okay and if you need something BLINK your eye and it is there! I highly recommend it to everyone. The best time of the year is FALL AND SPRING when the views of the Hudson and Trees are amazing. For me EVERY TIME OF THE YEAR is a good time- DON'T WAIT!

The food was amazing. The overall experience did not live up to the food. We travelled 30 mins because we had heard the food was great which it was but the service and ambiance did not match. We had an 830 reservation and by the time we started our entrees it seemed like there was a moving company that had come in to stage for the next day. There were people carrying and rolling tables, struggling to carry handfulls of glasses and silverware and loudly giving instructions about where to move chairs and tables. We mentioned to the manager who was apologetic and compd our wine but the move continued. I hope Peter Kelly reads this because the food was awesome and I’m sure he would be upset if he knew the environment in which it was being served.
While the daytime view is great, at night you can't see much. This restaurant DOES NOT honor reservations and is quite rude about their not having tables available. The manager was totally unhelpful, even after we told him the reservation for our anniversary. Avoid this restaurant if you want to have a special occasion without stress.
I love X20 for the food and the service !
Sat night I was seated upstairs and felt like a different restaurant, so much prettier downstairs! Felt way too corporate upstairs
The wait service was inconsistent. The man with the water was attentive. The lady that took our order was congenial. The other t or 3 people were inconsistent.
The appetizer of Italian ham and mozzarella was not top end. Can can much better at our local Italian or Spanish restaurant. The steak for two was good, but clearly not worth $90+. The steak my wife makes for me a couple of times a month is more tender and delicious.
I guess if we weren't spending $170 (before tips) I would call it a very good meal. It would be a very good meal at $100-110.
However, when leaving and talking to others (while waiting for our car), they thought the food and place was great.
The X2O staff goes above and beyond - fantastic service. And the food is always amazing! A true jewel of a restaurant in Yonkers!
Fine dining in beautiful setting. Excellent food and excellent service in a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. Around $350 for 4 for dinner with wine. we have been here many times. it is a go to spot for special occasions. the view alone is worth it.
It was our first time at X2O, food is always a major factor to us when it comes to trying new restaurants. I have to say food was on point but the service was outstanding as well. Our captain Albert took very good care of me and my girlfriend. We had an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend X2O for people who are looking to try something new.
Such a wonderful experience! The restaurant was clean the waiter was great and the food was exquisite. I recommend this place
Terrific as always. X2O continues to turn out some of the best food in the Metropolitan region. Lunch is a particular bargain, with three courses for $27, with plenty to choose from for all three courses. Despite each of the three of us choosing different items we all rated everything excellent, including an of-menu cod special. For the first time in a long while red velvet cake reappeared on the menu, and was as good as we recalled.
Fabulous. Great food service view
It was a special birthday and they remembered and my husband was so surprised
Can’t wait to go back in spring so we can go on porch to enjoy the view
From entrance to the final bite of food everything was on point.. I enjoyed everything.. I would like to suggest that it would be beneficial to have more couple tables at the window, especially since it seemed to be popular for couples .. At least offer to reset the tables..
Great food and service as usual!
This is the second time I visited X2O. The first time was magical. The service was impeccable. Food-out of this world. The person I took out to lunch that day said that of all the places we had gone on out annual lunch for the past 20 or so years - this was the best! So, I decided to take my husband there this time. Everything was the same except that the service was very slow. Other than that - it was still the BEST!!! Thank you guys!
Outstanding in every way. Always a wonderful experience. The staff are delightful, especially Susanne.
Not to be missed.
Excellent as always. Great menu with lots of choices.
Wonderful meal! Best deal for restaurant week in Westchester. Always good.
Service and food is always good. I've never been disappointed this was my fourth time going to xaviers
We enjoyed our food. It was a great restaurant werk value. The staff was amazing and accommodating. Will definitely be back!
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing view. Love love love this place. Great value and worth every single penny.
I LOVE X2O, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND IT ANYTIME. THIS PARTICULAR SATURDAY EVENING AT THE END OF HUDSON VALLEY RESTAURANT WEEK THE RESTAURANT WAS QUITE CROWDED. WHILE SOME GUESTS WERE UPSET ABOUT HAVING TO WAIT A BIT, I LOOK AT IT DIFFERENTLY. THE EARLIER GUESTS WERE HAVING SUCH A GREAT TIME, THEY DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. THE FOOD WAS STILL QUITE EXCELLENT. THE SERVICE A BIT SLOWER THAN USUAL, BUT STILL GRACIOUS AND BETTER THAN MOST PLACES YOU WILL EVER GO. WORTH THE TRIP AND WORTH THE WAIT ANYTIME. STILL COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!
This was restaurant week - unfortunately they packed in so many extra tables that the room was uncomfortable, very loud and the service was negligent. It is too bad because this used to be a restaurant that prided itself on good service and making the dining experience feel magical. They should not participate in restaurant week or accept so many reservations if they cannot accommodate sufficiently
I made a reservation for 7:30 & at 9:15 the table still wasn't ready.
Soo crowded! Wait time for dinner with reservations 45 minutes! Would go back on a quite evening...
I've been to X2O many times. However, my most recent visit was during Restaurant Week. The experience was just not the same. It was overbooked and loud. Will definitely go back - just not during Restaurant Week
1 and 1/4 hour wait in line for 7 pm reservation is unacceptable. However, the food and service once we were seated were very good as usual.
Usually better than this visit.
Was restaurant week so not as good as usual.
Too busy & rushed.
Entree served on cold plates & coffe/cappuccino is the worst ever
Excellent food. Little pricey.
Menu was varied with excellent service and delicious food.
Great food! Beautiful views. Outstanding night out.
Absolutely wonderful! Enjoyed a restaurant week meal. Everything was outstanding! The truffle mushroom risotto was wonderful! The tuna sushi egg roll was beyond belief! Sirloin and St Peter’s fish were both excellent choices. The service was as good as the food. We will definitely be back.
Award winning Chef Peter X. Kelly continues to prepare and serve consistently first-rate meals in an amazing setting on the Hudson, with exceptionally attentive staff. Great for special celebrations and memorable meals. Valet parking. Elevator for handicapped access.
Service, food and ambience were wonderful. Highly recommend.
Once again we went for Hudson Valley Restaurant week. The 3 course prix fix menu had lots of choices and it was hard to chose. Its really nice to be able to order a three course meal of smaller portions and be able to eat it. Normal portions are so big you cant do that.. ..The Beef short ribs were perfectly cooked as was my friends Roast Pork. Our starter was a Tuna Tartare that had Lichee and Avocado which was a bit unusual.
A lovely slice of Espresso Chocolate Cream Pie with Pistachio was for dessert. All very good and great for the price.
The staff were having a relatively easy night as it was raining heavily, even though the restaurant seemed full. They are cheerful and friendly and didn't hurry us to leave. The dining room is very lovey being on the water, always worth the visit.
My only complaint is that they must have changed the recipe for the butternut squash soup. It’s usually think and creamy and this time was thin and very peppery. Otherwise everything else was delicious and the service was excellent.
Consistently great food and service. Very generous Restaurant Week menu, better than any other I have tried in Westchester.
Fantastic tempura sushi but the rest of the meal was mediocre. Service was slow.
I had a lovely restaurant week lunch at X2O enjoying very good food, a beautiful view and with low enough noise to enjoy a great conversation with my friend but there was one problem. The service was very inattentive and rather odd. We met our waiter once when he took our orders but we never saw him again after that. Our food was brought by a series of runners who didn't seem to be assigned to us or our table. No one came by to ask how we were doing, whether we wanted more wine, more water, or at dessert time, some coffee. I finally caught the attention of a busser to order coffee who promised it right away. In fact, I had to ask 5 different servers for coffee. No one seemed to coordinate with anyone else. I will definitely go back, especially for lunch when you can see the river but I will ask my waiter to chack back in with me regularly.
