Great restaurant with river view of Manhattan skyline
I was a bit disappointed this time at the entrees. The beef was not prepared as asked (medium rare closer to rare) and the chicken was a bit dry. However, the rest of the meal was terrific and I've been there before and suspect it had to do with the HV Restaurant Week.

Excellent place. Expensive but worth it
Made a reservation for Sunday brunch. The location is beautiful and the food was delicious. However...we felt rushed toward the end and we were not offered some of the additional dishes that came with the different courses. The service was prompt but again, it was obvious we were being rushed. Lastly, it wouldn't hurt the head waitress to be a little more friendly; it was all business...frankly, the 30 degrees outside was warmer than her reception and interaction with us.
This is my third time dining there and I was not disappointed. The ambiance is great for all occasions, whether it’s a night out with friends, a romantic meal or a special occasion. The food was delicious and the view along the Hudson is breathtaking. I will definitely go back again.
The food is always great. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is lively. However, the restaurant was freezing and could not be heated up. It took away from what would have been an amazing evening celebrating my wedding anniversary with my wife and children. We will come back in the summer :).
Had not been back to X20 for several years and went Saturday night during Restaurant Week to celebrate a special birthday.
I was so happy to see that the restaurant continues to maintain the highest standards in all areas; food, service, ambiance. It was a delightful experience in every way!
My note to put a candle in my guests dessert was honored without a hitch (just from writing a note on my Open Table reservation), and the staff were attentive and went the extra mile.
The warm tuna roll (an off menu special), was delicious, the short ribs as exceptional as I remembered, and the desserts were creative and tasty.
The Restaurant Week menu and pricing makes it one of the best values for the money.
Already looking forward to my next visit.
Slow service. 2 of 4 drinks were wrong. Food was delicious !
But dining room is open and huge, feels like eating in a noisy food court, really detracts from the excellent food
Everything here is of the highest quality. The food and deserts are fabulous and high quality, portions are perfect, the menu has something for everyone, service is top notch and the view down and up the Hudson River is breathtaking! We recommend X2O to everyone! It’s one of the best!
Saturday March 16. Our waiter was terrific his name was Xaviar funny enough! Food was fab.
Dinner was very good. My only issue is when the food order was taken they wanted the whole food order. I asked for them not to rush bringing the main dish after the appetizer and was told “it will come out as fast or as slow as possible”. Not sure what that meant but main dish did come out fairly fast. In all fairness they did not rush us from then until we left. Meal and service were very good. I had the beets and burrata salad. Burrata was not as soft as it should of been but the rest of the dish was very good. The cowboy steak was cooked perfectly and very tender. The warm bread pudding with banana foster was the perfect ending to a delicious meal!
Always a treat, another memorable dinner at X2O. Great service beautiful room and amazing food!

This is one of our favorite restaurant, the food is truly special. The service is always excellent. This visit did not disappoint us.
We visited this restaurant during restaurant week, it was quite busy. We dined on a Groupon that we had purchased. The overall service was attentive and polite. As far as the food, my wife ordered the scallops which arrived under cooked. We alerted the server and they took the scallops saying they would take care of it. Much to my surprise when they returned, they returned with the same scallops that were cut open by my wife with the same sides, not a fresh plate of properly cooked scallops. When I said something to the server she said she would talk to the chef and get back to us, never did. At this point my wife said to just leave well enough alone. The fried cauliflower in my dish was over salted as well as the short ribs. I would consider giving this place another try.

beautiful surrounding during the day. I suspect less impressive when it is all dark outside. Food is good and service is excellent. Their own label wines can be skipped. I think the menu needs a bit more excitement. No complaints about taste and quality but no longer cutting edge

Beautiful setting on the Yonkers waterfront with views of the Hudson River. Food was very good, wine by the glass was a good value. Went during restaurant week, staff was all set up for it, and even offers an additional appetizer and entree that weren't on the Restaurant Week menu.
My boyfriend and I went for my birthday dinner. The restaurant was beautiful and somewhat busy and we were too close to other guests which was very nice. The butternut soup is beyond amazing. Service was great. I felt that my salmon entree was a bit undressed, it came with vegetable lo mien that was good but didn’t compliment the salmon. Overall a great experience
My husband and I were just looking to have a nice night out in the neighborhood. It was excellent!
I really have a tough time thinking of enough nice things to say about this restaurant! It's elegant without being stuffy, the service is attentive and considerate without being snooty, the views and setting are spectacular. Very few places I know of manage to get all this right but X2O does, every time.
And, the food . . . OMG!
This is clearly an 'event' place, so the opportunity to eat from the Restaurant Week menu is a deal and a half. I have not done RW at many other places but I have really felt like a second-class citizen at some of them that I have. Not here. The options, ingredients and servings are generous, to say the least.
X2O will be at the top of my restaurant rotation as long as it's around.
Being at this restaurant is always a treat, and during Restaurant Week it is an exceptional value as well. Perfect for any occasion.
Chairs where mouldy or dirty. Food was not taste. Felt mass produce, not the quality I usually get in a high end restaurant. I had come multiple times before it was great, now it has definitely lower its standard.
The restaurant is lovely, valet parking, great views from any table, and the service!, Excellent wait staff and maitre d’. Went to the bar first and then the restaurant. It just happened to be restaurant week and we got 3 course meals for $32.99! Unreal.
I would go back even without the special. It was a business dinner and it was very impressive. Everyone cleaned their plates.
Nice location on riverside but I wished windows were cleaner. Food is good but not so excellent and outdated sadly.Valet parking costs $5.
Unbelievable lunch for restaurant week. Started with a truffled risotto and my friend had a warm flan with foraged mushrooms. The flan, What a taste sensation! The risotto was also perfect.
I had the pork tenderloin with polenta and sugar snap peas. It was nicely cooked and the polenta was creamy, a wonderful accompaniment. They added on to the restaurant week menu, and offered a sirloin steak with truffle mash potatoes and string beans. That was cooked to perfection. The service was outstanding! The whole meal was fabulous! Bravo! Can't wait to come back.

My mom, 3 of her friends and myself dined at X20 for dinner during restaurant week. Everything was delicious!
Service was great- definitely a team vibe, as everyone was helping out (giving us bread, water, drinks, food, taking our order). The dining room is gorgeous- great views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Try and get a table beer the window!
The food portion size was perfect! We had the risotto, bisque and sushi- all flavorful and beautiful! For dinner we had the short ribs, salmon and steak. The short ribs blew my mind!! For dessert we had the red velvet cake, almond pound cake and Belgian chocolate tart- the flavors, the presentation, everything was amazing! We are so happy with our dining experience and can’t wait to return.
Had an exquisite meal at X20 for HVRW. Really appreciate the fact that Peter Kelly always adds items to the already "set menu" offerings! The special crispy Tuna roll was delicious, my friends Short Ribs were fall off the bone tender & out of this world! The St Peter's fish was cooked perfectly! The only downside, wish the desserts where better. As always, service was attentive without being overbearing! Have been going to X20 for years & this meal was by far the best yet! Can't beat the views either. Highly recommend trying X20 whether it's Restaurant Week or not
