Wynkoop Brewing Company is a working brewery that offers not only food and drinks but also a casual place for friends to hang out. The upstairs has a full bar, pool tables, darts, foosball and a shuffleboard with plenty of room for a group of friends to relax after work or on a weekend. Enjoy a meal at the bar of pulled pork BBQ nachos, oven glazed chicken wings or the ‘Koop calamari. Wynkoop also has tables and outside bar stool tables for two where you can enjoy an item off the sandwich menu. Options include a 100% beef or buffalo burger, the salmon club sandwich or the Wynkoop grilled cheese sandwich. For a hearty appetite, try the buffalo meatloaf, grilled pork tenderloin, turkey pot pie or beer battered fish and chips.
Wynkoop offers tours of the brewery, which includes going down into the brewing area as well as samples.
Great service and fun wait staff. Perfect for a pre-Broncos game meal.
Worst Cuban sandwich that I've ever had. Don't have it, you'll be incredibly disappointed!
Everybody else's food was ok or unimpressive as well.
Would we go back? For the beer, yes. For the food, no.
Service is 3 stars because our server was average with an attitude. Hostess was very rude.
Good choice for getting together with friends. Decent range of food on the menu, and excellent beer menu.
Have also had a great experience at Wynkoop, and this visit just added to that.
Came on the recommendation of a friend. They had a great selection of beers and the food was delicious. The food presentation was both appealing & creative. Would definitely tell others to stop by when visiting downtown Denver.
We ate there three years ago, and this time we thought it was much better, food and service.
The experience was below par. The service was uninterested in us, I believe it was due to the fact we had the majority of non drinkers. The fish and chips were awful as the fish was raw on the inside. We apologized to our out if state guests.
Friendly servers, fun crowd, good food and drink. Reserved table was available immediately. I'll go back every time I'm in Denver.
Decent place for a drink but low quality bar food.l had the special salmon pasta- very rich and too heavy- not good at all. Other guests had the Cuban which was not a real Cuban. More like a sandwich on dry bun. At least the Fries were good and so was my Cosmo but we will never go back.
Great meal there with our family before going to a ball game at Coors Field. The wait staff was great, the beer cold and interesting and the food was fresh, hot and tasty. It was an especially good value compared to the prices we (mostly) avoided paying at the ballpark.
Although we live in the greater Denver area, this was our first time there. Thoroughly enjoyable for a midday break while visiting downtown Denver. Excellent service and food. Hope to do it again when brewery tours are available.
We made reservations before a Rockies game. The food was great. Sent back acne of two salmon sandwich to cook a little longer but it was no problem. Service great.
David was fantastic server! We enjoyed his personality very much. Food was so good - especially the vegetarian chili! - and the beer was phenomenal.
Great patio, fresh & well made margarita. My husband thought his steak salad was maybe the best dish he'd had on our entire week long visit to Denver!! I really enjoyed the Ahi tuna salad -well prepared, fresh, quality. I would definitely recommend the Wynkoop Brewing Co. for a great dining option -way better than the usual "beer grub"! Oh & the beer was good too!
We had a great time, food and beer was excellent, servive was flawless and friendly.
Best Cuban sandwich ever. Very crowded before a Rockies game but our server let us know up front that the kitchen was behind so we understood and had a beer while we waited. Food came out hot and delicious.
In addition to the good food and extensive beer choices, our servers were very attentive. The price was right and we had a highly satisfying evening overall.
Great place to hang out with friends at lunch. Quiet atmosphere and excellent food.
I have always liked the WynKoop - today the service we exceptionally slow and one of our orders were wrong. Every Restaurant goes through day like this, so will give them another opportunity before deciding not to go back
Wings and beer always good. Family friendly establishment. My family normally come in for lunch so noise level is very moderate to none.
Nice variety of house beers and selected others from the area. Food was good, and the Asian salad with tuna was especially (and a bit surprisingly) good.
I always love going to the Wynkoop
brewery, however our most recent experience was poor. Our service was slow and our food was disappointing. It's not likely I will be back although I love the beer.
Buffalo Meatloaf was delicious. Chile beer is unique and tasty.
Great beer, great food and perfect place to meet up with great company. Our server was attentive while also being patient as we waited for the rest of our party to show. Everything we ordered was delicious and the selection of beer and other beverages was great. Highly recommend as a place to hang out and enjoy time with friends.
We were in downtown for a Rockies Game and made lunch reservations. We waited at least 20 minutes to get a server and water. Several passed our table multiple times and we couldn't get their attention. Then Tamara, who was outstanding, asked if we'd been helped, when we said no, she apologized andsaid she would someone, then she came back and took our order. She also apologized several more times for the poor service. Finally after almost an hour our food came and it had the wrong sides. Tamara offered to take it back, we said no and just wanted to get out of there. The absolute worst food service I've had in years. Tamara was the only bright spot during the entire meal. We will NEVER go back!!
Took some out-of-town guests, who were impressed. The beer was great, with a great local brew selection. The sausage and cheese plate was excellent. Dinners were good - a lot of food. Our server was knowledgeable and helpful. As per usual, this is a great unwind with colleagues or friends type place on non-game nights.
Ordered the Mac and Cheese with elk sausage and it was AMAZING! Also the Chili beer is the best! We made reservations and got right in, service was super fast and our waitress was super friendly.
Awesome beer selection! The beer cheese dip and spicy caramel wings were amazing! We just did appetizers, the portions were generous and everything tasted great! Definitely recommend!
Outstanding beer and great service, food was awesome too!!!
Excellent food. Our server was extremely nice but we felt a bit overlooked. Tables around us seemed to be receiving faster service.
Was there twice on a recent work trip to Denver. The Cubano the first night was terrific, if not a true Cubano. Not grill pressed as all the Cubanos I know, but rather just placed on a sliced Ciabatta roll. Regardless - terrific.
Second time had the Chicken and Biscuit and thought it was equally terrific. Another in my group didn't have as glowing a recommendation. Another had the buffalo meatloaf and loved it. My wife had the fish and chips and thought it was excellent as well. Portions were generous all the way around.
There was a game that night at nearby Coors field, and it was Friday evening so the place was busy even at 5:00 for dinner.
Only downside was there ended up being some confusion between the wait staff and a bit of a spat. Would've liked to have the original guy. He was far more entertaining, and I expect more attentive as our waitress would seem to disappear for long periods. Asked for a second drink when my food arrived and was pretty much done by the time it showed up some 10+ minutes later.
This place is great!
Went on Rockies opening day, great service, good brews n grub!
The food was excellent, and the service was superb. The flight of 5 beer selections some great and I got to sample everything I wanted to try.
Went to Wynkoop Brewery for an early dinner/late lunch. Was excited to try the food, but was disappointed with the service. Our waitress was not personable or friendly. She did not ask how we wanted our burgers cooked, and when asking another wait staff about it after we placed our orders, we were told that if the order was already placed, it would be cooked medium. It took a while to get our waters refilled and she never asked if we wanted another beer. She was slow with giving us the bill and was even slower in picking up the check. Another waiter assured that he would tell her that we were ready, but in the end he was the one who processed the check. It was very disappointing, considering how wonderful everything else went that day.
This restaurant is consistently great and sometimes excellent I never hesitate to recommend it. Service is exemplary, even on a busy Friday night. I love the in house brews, especially allthe dark stouts I got in March
WB is a fantastic bar, everything you would expect from a Colorado bar. Good atmosphere, their quads and wheats are fantastic. It's very open seating, so often loud; the food is really good as far as bar food goes. I went there three times last week (twice unintentionally).
Restaurant had special paired down menu because of a special event downtown. Was very limited and supposed to speed things up. Took 25 minutes to be able to order and over an hour sitting before our food came.
The renovations have really opened the seating area! The service and food were great!
Limited menu. Cheese Dip Appetizer did not have enough pretzels and apples for the amount of cheese dip. We had to ask for more and they brought us chips.
Our waitperson was lovely.
It looked like they were doing some remodeling or expanding?
