Dim Sum at Wu Chow is our favorite Sunday treat in Austin. The food is amazing and you can't beat the $3 mimosas! I particularly love the soup dumplings, but I think we have probably tried everything on the menu after a few visits and it's all great. Go with friends and order everything!

Our 15th anniversary dinner which we told them about during our reservation 4 days prior. The front desk attendants were not warm nor welcoming. It was empty but we were put at a table we didn’t care for and requested another table. We moved and then the host said we should have requested a particular table if we wouldn’t have been happy where we were seated. Our wait person was decent but not helpful and tried to discourage us from bringing our leftovers home. When I checked the bill, I noticed we’d been slightly overcharged for one item. The wait person did correct it without apology. We left without a word of goodbye or thank you from anyone at the front desk. The food was good..not exceptional...and service was substandard for this price level restaurant. We will not return

My husband and I truly enjoyed our time at Wu Chow. The food was delicious and portions were perfect for us to share a few different plates plus soup dumplings. It was fun and delicious! If we find our way back to Austin, we will definitely try it again.

Love WuChow for dinner. Went for brunch for the first time and experienced totally different level of food and service. Let me preface saying I require gluten free due to celiac and understand a dim sum brunch menu has limitations. Ordered both shrimp options due to no other protein options other than tofu as well as the broccoli and sausage rice. Both shrimp options were rubbery & greasy with little flavor. Broccoli and rice were just ok. Mimosa was great. Sat a full 15 minutes before even receiving water or seeing our waiter Taylor. Service by Taylor continued to be very slow despite end of brunch not being full. Expressed dissatisfaction to Taylor regarding quality of food. And pointed out we left 1/2 the food on four small dishes untouched. His repose was “so you want money off your bill?” No, Taylor, we just wanted a nice brunch and not have to leave WuChow just as hungry as we arrived. Manager gave me a $20 card toward future meal in the future. So disappointing.

Good food, enough shareables to go around the table. Clean environment, fast service, and good ambience for a team lunch or regular eat in. Would definitely recommend the friends and family.

Great cocktails, dumplings and egg rolls. The Beijing duck was average - it was room temperature and needed more salt. Our server was very good.

Great tasting food. You must try the dry fried green beans if they’re in the menu. I don’t really like green beans as a rule but the flavour was fab. We then had the pecan glazed jumbo prawns which were amazing and the hoisin beef both of which were delicious

Great service but found the wine a little expensive.

We had a Birthday dinner tonight. Food was great. Service was terrible. Wait staff was too busy chatting in the back
Rather than checking in and taking care of their customers.
Maybe because service was already included they just didn’t care? Not sure, maybe just a bad night...
Really unfortunate for a restaurant like this to have such poor service. It wasn’t even that busy...

The fried shrimp were AMAZING, the peanut noodles pretty good, the eggplant not that great. But lovely setting, excellent service, would definitely return to try out other selections. Love that it is Farm to Market.

Our server had the fastest mouth in the South, so we had to ask him repeat things but he was super nice.
Hope to make it back soon on dim sum day.

Food was excellent. Wait staff was great. My only disappointment was upon arrival. The restaurant called the previous day to reconfirm reservation. I said yes, our party of 4 will be there. Upon arrival, I said we have a reservation. They then couldn’t decide where to seat us. Uh, you knew we were coming. Finally seated us by a door to the patio, where every time the door opened we were hit with a blast of cold air, not to mention the large party next to us having a holiday gift exchange and photo taking session all around our table.

I often wonder why I make reservations. It seems restaurants are happier to see walk-ins than those of us who plan ahead for a night out and get shoved at any table.

Again, food was great at Wu Chow. Just lately restaurants don’t seem to appreciate those who plan ahead to dine out.

Food was amazing!! I heard it was good and kept wanting to try it and I was blown away by how good the food was. The honey pecan prawns (or something like that) might be some of the best shrimp I’ve ever had. Also, get the green beans!

Wu Chow has a great atmosphere, but I often find the service to be lacking. Getting a server flagged down is a consistent issue for me at the restaurant. Their team is extremely polite and willing to help/explain the menu while you have them. Their team seems to know the menu well and be educated about what they have to offer. The food is consistent and high quality. I do find it to be expensive, but paying for the experience overall (minus service) is worth it.

My reservation was at 2:30 for dim sum. As soon as we down we were told the kitchen was closing in 6 minutes and we needed to order. We were rushed during the ordering experience and ended up with a bunch of shrimp dishes. Please let guests know dim sum ends at 3:00 for 2:30 reservations. Probably would have dined elsewhere so we could have a more relaxing dining experience.
