About Wright's at the Biltmore
From the indigenous ingredients of Native Americans to the unique and bold flavors brought
forth by early settlers, Wright’s creates a culinary experience that tells the story
of the Arizona Desert, drawing upon the region’s rich heritage and culture.
Served in a classic setting that is a modern nod to the historic Frank Lloyd Wright style, the
Wright’s menu features foods of the land, presented in an artistic and contemporary fashion
that marries both the old and the new. In addition to the acclaimed a la carte menu, Wright’s
at the Biltmore offers diners a tasting menu each evening that showcases our latest creations.

Wright's at the Biltmore Ratings and Reviews
We love Wrights for special occasions. We have been there many times for anniversaries and family occasions. Especially around Christmas the atmosphere is beautiful. The service is always outstanding. While the food is very good, they try too hard on some dishes and the point is sometimes lost. As has been noted in many reviews, the big issue is cost. For three drinks and two entrees the bill with tip was two hundred dollars. Is the atmosphere really worth it? I'm not sure.
While the restaurant and food were good— we didn’t think this restaurant was anything special. The service was very attentive. For the price and the food selection, we weren’t impressed. The GM soufflé was the only thing we’d go back for— it was excellent!
First, let me say, the cost of the brunch is not for the faint of heart... HOWEVER, as it usually is in this world, you get what you pay for. The quality of the food is light years above of anything I have found locally. Not only is the food delicious and beautifully displayed, the service matches it in spades. We had two small boys with us and we were happily welcomed and accommodated. It was just a lovely time for the youngest to oldest! That in itself is quite a feat for any dining experience! They had some beautifully displayed various seafood and plenty of it. High end selections of cheeses and meats. Fresh and delightful baked goods. I can't even begin to properly describe the dessert counter! Literally something for everyone. They also offered some unusual foods as well - wild boar, a sweet bread spread and sable fish - not my favorites, but it is good to try unusual things you personally don't purchase or prepare at home. One of the best things about the brunch are the menu items. They are small portions, cooked to order - have as many as you'd like and each one will be freshly prepared and arrive perfectly hot and ready to enjoy. They also offer a bottomless mimosa that was perfect - at an additional fee - but well worth it. The coffee was kept hot in servers on the table. Plates were quickly and quietly cleared and new silver service were provided as needed. Honestly, I rarely gush about a dining experience, but this was simply exceptional in every possible way. I would be overjoyed to go again and we will.
Best brunch in Phoenix! Spectacular selection of extremely high-quality brunch items, including crab, foie gras, pork belly, and exotic pastries and deserts, plus kitchen-prepared small plates that all hit the mark. A little pricey, but the value is there. All-around great experience.
My wife and I stayed at the Biltmore to celebrate her birthday, and decided to try Wrights. The food was very good; I had the venison, it was delicious but I would have appreciated the waiter telling me that it came with essentially no vegetables, as I would have ordered a few sides. The drinks were excellent. Service (other than the veggie thing) was very good; we especially appreciated the tasting samples they provided. The meal was fairly pricey though.
A fantastic brunch with excellent waiters. The one glitch was our arrival. It took almost 10 minutes for the hostess to appear. Meanwhile, we were ignored by everybody else on staff.
Food is fantastic with local products being featured and the brunch buffet, extremely plentiful, is supplemented by small plates, which are actually quite generous portions of hot dishes. Delicious, and a nice variation of the usual sunday brunch concept.
I am plagued with allergies and our waiter, John, went out of his way to check ingredients in every item I wanted to try from the brunch buffet and the plated dishes. Their Sunday Brunch is a must if you are in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area.
A YUGE Roast Beef Tenderloin on the carving station, and the best eggs Benedict I have ever had:
Poached Egg, Green Chili Hollandaise, with braised Short Rib and AMAZING re-fried beans (I don't like re-fried beans, but these were wow) all on a hot fresh Fry Bread.
You see what I mean, local, SW version of a classic dish, that is not too confusing or over engineered, but it works together like nobody's business.
Hats off to the chefs week in and week out.
We went because a friend was staying at the Biltmore and we wanted to see the architecture. We expected more creativity from the menu than we found and felt it was over priced for what we got. I would recommend drinks around the firepit with appetizers and then go elsewhere for dinner.
The ambience is really interesting. We were outside with a fountain and lovely lit tress. The servers were very friendly. The food was disappointing. The best parts were the little chef treats presented both before and after the main meal. The main meal however was not worth the money. I had the sable fish. The portion was small and I felt sick to my stomach the next day. My friend had the duck which was so rare it had to be sent back. And each entree was nearly 50 dollars. Would recommend this place for a drink, not the food.
Wright's Sunday Brunch is honestly a true foodies experience.
Each week they create 5 unique, distinct small plates, each one better than the last. These are prepared individualy straight from the kitchen, no heat lamp food here. Creative, delicious, fresh and beautiful. These, like everything else, are all you can eat. I always get 2 of my favorite.
Move on to the top notch eatable Seafood, Antipasto, Fruit, Salad, Cold Food Display. You'll be taking pictures of what you eat.
Two new additions, the "locally" grown display, and a carving station. Again foodies be ready, it's not your typical Prime Rib Station. Their idea of Prime Rib, is roasted Prime Rib Cap, with Red Chili Bacon Jus, and Asadero Mashed Potatoes. Yes I said the Cap.
Deserts are both stunning and delicious. I can barely stuff them in after all the other food, but I most certainly do.
Ok now the kicker, each week, all the small plates, deserts, carving station, and many other things change. That's right a different experience to enjoy. One week it's rock lobster ceviche, another week it's king crab claws, one week it's Dark Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding then it's Pistachio Daquoise.
This is weekly food art, by extremely creative chefs, the head chef is a rock star.
Service is unreal, everyone is so friendly, top to bottom. Just a wonderful wonderful crew of people. Nothing seems to get missed.
I call each week now for the menu, looking for an excuse not to go at this point. Is it Sunday yet?
We had a spectacular dining experience, with some of the very best service I've experienced. The entire meal was awesome, but a highlight was a foie gras appetizer recommended by our waiter. It felt a little outside my usual comfort zone, but I trusted the recommendation and I was glad I did. It was sensational ... amazing flavors. Also, when they offer the souffle option for dessert (you have to order ahead) you should go for it.
Also, we love the Biltmore. What a beautiful venue. We dined at Wright's at the end of a Frank Lloyd Wright day, having seen Taliesin West before dinner.
Wright’s brunch was recommended to us by friends as not to be missed on our AZ vacation. It went far beyond our expectations. Beautiful room, fabulous food, friendly and attentive staff. Just be sure to order from the 5 custom hot items in addition to enjoying the buffet (they are included). The eggs Benedict with veal cheeks was outstanding.
We were treated to first class service by William and the rest of the staff. They seated us at a special table away from the main dining room. Very romantic! Also surprised us with champagne and a special anniversary dessert at the end of our meal. We will definitely return!
My husband and I stayed at the Biltmore for a long weekend getaway and had dinner at Wrights on 3 occasions and on Sunday for brunch. Everything was perfect. Service exceptional. Food great quality and perfectly presented. Jon and James took great care of us.
The wait staff and all the servers made our evening extremely special ...
The food was fantastic the chef did a phenomenal job in preparation and plating.
But it was the wait staff that made our evening so special. Everyone there should be given tremendous accolades for their customer service.
We had a group of 10+ with out-of-town guests. Everyone was impressed with what Wright's had to offer. After a summer break. This restaurant upped it's ante by added super fancy selections and a slight price adjustment. I hope they will keep it up at this level of service and quality. I will then keep coming back. Highly recommended!
OMG, we had the most magnificent service! The food was also just right. I brought my 85 year old aunt who was treated like a queen. I do so appreciate this kind of service! For once, while there was plenty of food available, I did not leave the brunch feeling like a beached large animal.
Absolutely the best Sunday brunch in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. Fresh ingredients,
wide selection of fruit, veggies, cheeses, breads, big shrimps, crab claws, beautiful selection of desserts and a wonderful hot entree selections. I have tried other hotels....
Builtmore is over the top in quality, service &
and outstanding presentation of food selection. Thank you for being the BEST! I always come to your brunch and I've never been disappointed. What a dining experience!
