Founded in 2013 by Davin and Jessica Waite, Wrench & Rodent is a space for culinary exploration and collaboration. This cozy, eclectic restaurant quickly became a destination for those who appreciated Chef Davin’s creative approach to celebrating local and responsibly sourced fish and produce.

In addition to a set sushi menu, Wrench offers an omakase as well as a list of specials that change daily. The team is committed to reducing waste and enhancing flavor by elevating all cuts of fish and veggies, as well as featuring a diverse range of species. Many menu items are simple, fresh and creative, with a lesser-known fish species complimented by ingredients from the backyard garden. Byproduct utilization drives the menu as well, and recent explorations with aging techniques have led to a dry aged fish program. Plant-forward preparations are also celebrated, and a vegan omakase is available upon request.

This restaurant is very good as far as food unusal Sushi choices so it's unique and a little differant. However the loud music that is alternative rock played way to loud to enjoy your food needs to change they could also use a little better atmosphere which would't take much doing.

DELISH! I had the Dragonfly roll and it was one of the best rolls I've ever had in my life! I'm been thinking about it ever since and am already planning on when we can go back. The tuna nigiri was fantastic as well. My man was happy that they had a wide variety of local beers. The service was great, food came our fast and we were able to find parking close by. We will be back!!!

Heard about this through several friends and had to check it out. We were one of the first tables to sit upon opening so no big rush of people which allowed for a more intimate experience. Enjoyed the omakase, loved how light everything was and some new and amazing flavors for me personally. Menu wasn’t huge so felt as though, had I not gotten the omakase, wouldn’t have struggled to settle on other dishes. One of the best servers Morgan. Was amazing and surprised us with a fabulous recommendation of cheese cake. Surprisingly enough was really nice to finish with and can’t wait to see which flavor they have next! Badass environment even better service and killer food, definitely will be back.

We celebrated a career accomplishment and had a very enjoyable experience. The sashimi is spectacular and we love the fig tree in the back patio, and when in season the figs are used for seasonal dishes. The half and half fish, full fish with half cooked and half sashimi is a must.

Visiting from Austin. Hotel massage therapist said it’s her favorite restaurant. Had to have it. Let’s just say it was the closest to a religious experience as it comes. I felt the love that went into each delicate piece that was a work of art. This was a highlight of our visit. Omakase
