Amanda was very attentive to my special occasion of my husband’s birthday. From checkin through the entire service I could tell the staff read my reservation request.
Took my bestfriend for her birthday & was amazed with the table we were put in. Hostess was very kind as well as the server. But I was alittle eh about the food since I got recommended the “beef plate” I forgot the full name haha but avoid it in any cause, it’s a plate with mostly spinach than the actual beef but besides that staff and restaraunt were great 👍🏼
Cold food. Slow service. Asked for a bottle of flat water not once but twice after we finished our first one and still never got it. Disappointing.
Amazing views. Wine choices weren’t the greatest but staff was very attentive
Everything was the perfect. Great service, great food, left my friends and I very satisfied. What a great experience, can't wait to come back.
The food is great, but the service was so bad that it made the whole experience miserable!!!!!!
Lovely view, lovely vibe!
Horrible! It used to be nice, upscale, high standards dining (when we were living at Ritz as residents). Now not even as good as regular restaurant. The waiter completely unprofessional. I remember my first dining there on January 7, 2012 and the service was exceptional, the waiter was extremely nice-just how it is supposed to be at the Ritz Carlton.
Yesterday our waiter was not like this, not nice, not good service.
He pour mineral water in plastic cups, no ice, no offering or bringing limes with sparking water, no straw-we are at Ritz!
It was celebration of the International Women's Day and my boyfriend gave me the greeting card and when my boyfriend and I were having a very special moment and I was reading my card, just at this moment the water came to add more water in my glass! Completely unprofessional,
So I was supposed to distract my attention from the gift my boyfriend gave me to the waiter? The waiter ruined our special moment!
I don't understand for what reason the restaurant got rid of the most tasty item in the menu (brown lobster noodles ? or what is the correct name). The only reason I came is to eat that item. And I am eating vegan at this period of my life (Lent Fasting), and when I asked the waiter if the meal is vegan he looked at me with judging attitude, and he was not nice to me at all.
My boyfriend was kind and I assume he gave him tip, just because Dr.Sedrak is so nice, but he should not.
Please send this waiter to some classes and teach him manners, teach him to respect guests, to be nice to them, not to interrupt special moments.
Yes, this time we didn't order much, I am vegan these days till the Easter and my boyfriend dieting, and we both do not drink alcohol, but we used to have big dinners there and birthdays with friends, and now after that we will not. I have no desire to come back and my noodles was full of sugar. After all that attitude and no brown noodles, and no healthy vegan meal why to come back? Just because of the view?
Low lighting, great views of downtown, attentive service
Me and wife dined there to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary and had an amazing, unforgettable experience. Thanks to all the staff for making our anniversary the best ever. Our compliments to the chef.
The best anniversary ever. The food is great, our servers are awesome , the place is so romantic. We'll be back next month for my sister's birthday. Thank you W24 for making my wedding anniversary memorable.
Overlooking Los Angeles on the 24th floor of the Ritz was a great visual experience. The drinks are over priced as expected. I paid $16 for drinks off the drink menu that were fairly average. The food did not overwhelm with flavor but it was also not bad. I did not leave saying to myself “coming back is a must”. Overall I would say the food was average, great views but overpriced with small portions. I suggest coming here for a drink, check out the view and maybe grab an appetizer. My final bill for four was $670 plus my 20% tip. I also dropped $75 at the bar waiting for my table which took about 45 minutes later than the reserved time. I had a 6pm reservation and called around 5PM cause we were running late and asked for a 6:30. She said no way. When we got there at 6. The table wasn’t ready for about 45 minutes. I sat at the bar and ran up a bar tab.
Great service but the food wasn’t a good as I hoped. The place was also louder than I expected. So good for groups and the bar but not as good for dates as I hoped.
If you're looking for ambiance, this is the place. Offering nearly panoramic views of Los Angeles, WP24 provides an elegant dining experience complete with beautiful hanging lights that adorn the ceilings of the restaurant. The fare a little on the pricier side--dinner and drinks for two will set you back about $150 --but the place is sure to impress your date, client, or in my case, mother. We loved the pork buns and sea bass and will definitely return for those plus the strong yet balanced cocktails.
Dinner was amazing. Service was even better. Our server Tanya was so helpful. She gave great recommendations for food and wine. Beautiful view. Lovely dinner overall.
Such a nice birthday! My fiance and my mother took me here for my bday and it was great. The view is incredible and the service was great! I believe our waitress' name was Tanya, and we dines d on a Tuesday night so the crowd was fairly light. The food was amazing. My fiance is such a picky eater, and everything won him over! Also my mother is vegan and they had a separate menu just for her which I loved. Really impressed all the way around.
Great food but very mediocre service. Instead of service with a smile - it was service with an attitude with a guaranteed tip ( which is not allowed in CA from what I recall)
Great vibe and ambiance. The staff was great and the food was absolutely amazing!
Just such an amazing experience. I wish I would have more money for a bigger tip because our waiter was just that great. The food is so delicious. I would recommend it as a special occasion place like Valentine's or a romantic date.
Perfect location for All Star weekend dinner. Great view of the city and the dining room was just right and tucked away from the noise of the bar and Nest area. Service was good too. Would definitely make a return visit.
It was a great eve with my girlfriend for her birthday. It was NBA all star weekend, so reservations were key and treated like stars. Amazing food, service and view. Will be back Soon
Wonderful Location, wonderful meal , wonderful service. I love this restaurant.
Great customer service overall from host to server. Amazing views of DTLA. Food was tasty great flavor mixture on the chicken plate. I will recommend to friends and family.
The service was Great! The food was delicious. View was awesome as well. Appreciated the live music. Overall awesome experience.
Can't wait to come back and experience the FULL menu.
Had the Szechuan style beef tenderloin as my main course. It was advertised as coming with fingerling potatoes but they were actually coins or medallions. It would have been nice with a little vegetable as well. Rather skimpy portion, and the flavor of the beef was undetectable because the spicy sauce dominated the dish and was overpowering. Also, the temperature in the restaurant was uncomfortably cool.
Service was extremely slow. The food was cold had to be sent back
Amazing food, service, and view!!!
Great place love the views of LA downtown! Service was amazing the waiter was so pleasant and very helpful. Being a vegetarian was excited they have a vegan menu. The food was awesome and tasty! Definitely will go back!
It’s was the perfect location for my husbands 30th .. we had a great time I was very impressed
Sorry for the low rating but the quality of my experience was minimal.
Beautifully designed restaurant with unique features & fixtures. The hostess provided a design tour as we walked to our table - she was very eloquent and informative as she pointed out design form and function. The server seemed detached and wasn't exceptionally helpful in describing or 'selling' the menu. A friend of mine with cancer was dining with me and had specific diet questions which the server was ill-informed / uninterested in answering. The bus-boy was excellent and had a personality and showed genuine interest in our dining experience. I'm not a difficult customer, I previously worked in a restaurant and understand the challenges of the job, but I was very disappointed in the service by our waiter. The food was excellent - classic Wolfgang Puck who is innovative, creative and knows how to design a menu. The price / portion was a bit excessive, but nevertheless, it is worth experiencing. I would return to the restaurant - and I would hope to have better service.
The ambiance and service were superb. I was disappointed by the food. The spring rolls were good, the the duck was very bland and extremely oily. I squeezed a piece and oil just drizzled down. The noodles that came with it were good. The vegetable fried rice was good. For desert I had the apple tart tartine and that was not very good. Maybe I didn’t order the right things but I would have expected every dish here to be great
Food was delicious! Everything we ate did not disappoint. Don’t skip to the desserts, they are worth the calories. Great views and beautiful decor. Overall a fantastic experience.
Great for date night
The best thing about WP24 is the view. The food was excellent, but not inspired, and the service was even better. We were lucky and enjoyed our intuitive waitress who spent some of her time with crowd control. We had a wonderful time. There was a very lively bar crowd that spilled over into the dining area every now and then to take 'selfies' in front of the view. I would recommend going only if you are already downtown and parked. It wasn't until we were safely at our table did we relax. Be forewarned that traffic and parking are next to impossible and extremely expensive. Maybe this is the place for a pre-dinner/event drink at the bar.
I came for my birthday with my best friends. I had expected a bit more respect and friendliness from the staff but didn’t receive it. I was disappointed because I had expected more from an upscale restaurant. Sadly won’t be returning here again.
The food was delicious even though the portions were small, and the view was breathtaking.
The food was okay - best dishes were the octopus and spring roll appetizers. Service was also okay. I would say the positives of this restaurant was the ambiance and view from the 24th floor. Would not return unfortunately.
At a restaurant of this level I expect beautiful platings and the typical small portions. But this was ridiculous I ordered the sashimi and got a total of 6 pieces of sashimi each the size of a sugar cube!! All sorts of disgusting items surrounding it. The Peking duck was soooo greasy and fatty it too was disgusting. The bottle of gruner we ordered was not previously chilled and required 10 minutes of chilling. And this is an Austrian chef. I can go on and on. We were a table of six and ordered almost every recommended item on the menu. Including the 2-lb lobster. All absolutely horrible It was a Thursday night and by 7:30 pm restaurant half filled. Unless they fix the problem they will disappear rapidly. And in case there was a question of my credibility I am an Escoffier graduate. Wolfgang.... visit the place and shape it up.
The food was much better than I thought for a top floor restaurant in a tourist trap. I'd go back just for the food, but the ambiance in the back dining room is first rate. The serve was the right amount of attentiveness and the prices are not out of sync.
Outstanding views, food and service! Noise level was a little high but acceptable!
