Most dishes taste the same. It is like they use the same spicy sauce on everything.
Came to the restaurant at 7.50 pm for our reservation at 8 pm -the girl at the door said that they seat people exactly at their reservation time. Told us to wait at the bar until she gets us at 8pm. We got the drinks and at 8.06 pm I’m walking myself to the hostess again -she saw me, stopped talking to the other lady and took menus and said -Ok, I’ll take you now to the table.
Sooo?? I had to walk to her -where is this exact 8 pm then??
We ordered DUCK from the menu- they didn’t have duck!
We ordered SEA BASS -they said it’s finished!
So? How this nice restaurant in dtla with amazing view -doesn’t have food?
The waiter as great though!
Not the best experience -we won’t be back again.
This restaurant is beyond beautiful. I requested to be seated in an area with a phenomenal view and the restaurant honored that. Not only did they seat my husband and I at the window but they gave us the best seat in the house. I ordered the garden market fried rice and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely will be coming back.
The ambience is absolutely beautiful. Also the service is amazing! Definitely recommend for a nice dinner for a special occasion
Incredible food, service and views!
Great food. Beautiful views. Located in a comer with views on two sides. I didn’t care for the interior design. Very dark and stark. None of the furnishings felt luxe and cozy. I felt like we were in a hotel ballroom with tables of 4 set up all over. There was a sheer curtain at one end blocking off what must be a private party space but you could see through it and it made the restaurant feel empty. On the other hand, the bar area was very nice.
Very good food , I really enjoyed it.
So so. Food was good, but over-priced for the quantity and quality in my opinion.
The restaurant is very pricey but the food is quite excellent. Very calm and easy to have a conversation with dining guests. Views are spectacular.
Limited number of servers on a Tuesday night......
Perfection from start to finish!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Jeff was excellent!
Our only problem was leaving our gift at the restaurant.
I called today, but they are closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Amazing food with even better views!
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Great people — wonderful people! Food fabulous as always. Will be back again and again.
Nice view, quite, good drinks, on-par service. Food is just okay though, they try to do upscale Chinese but the concept doesn't translate to better food, just more expensive. Still, worth going there.
it was my father’s birthday and 💯👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Highly disappointed by the Peking Duck (came almost cold, skin not crisp, not particularly tasteful). Appetizers were OK but not outstanding.
Food, ambience , servicing. Everything is amazing.
Food was superb!! Emmanuel our server was very attentive.
The food and ambiance were just amazing! A little pricey, but we knew that going in. Very special place to go to!
It was lovely. You won’t regret it .
Food was too salty. We got served dumplings that were not cooked, raw pork inside. If you want Asian food don’t come here. This is a Wolfgang Puck-up. The only blessing was the view and space.
Was disappointed. From out of town. Dined last about 2 years and was very impressed them. At 9pm on a Friday, the place was half empty. Not a good sign. Had 2 appetizers. The ' Tiny dumplings ' were excellent. The heirloom tomatoes had no flavor especially compared to the same dish at Spago 2 days prior. 2 main courses. My fish was ok but the noodles were too minty so were left uneaten. My wife's beef dish was just ok. There was at least half hour between the appetizers and the main courses. The eggplant side dish was cold and needed salt..
Everything was excellent, the food, the restaurant, the lights. EXCELENT
Food was delicious, presentation just average for the price. Service was fabulous.
It was for a birthday and no cake or birthday presentations were prepared. I would not dine at Wolfgang Puck again. The food was good just expected better service.
Beautiful restaurant. Food was decent. Service was impeccable. Would come back for drinks, the ambiance and my amazing server.
WP24 needs to institute a "no electronic kids games at the table" policy. We were next to a table with three children, each playing his own extremely loud game. The atmosphere was more Chuck-E-Cheese than fine dining.
My husband and I had dinner here before attending an event at Microsoft Theater. We were immediately taken by the breathtaking views of downtown LA, the Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign. The service was great. Our server had a vegan menu ready for me as I had requested when I made the reservation on Open Table. He made recommendations about the food and checked on us often. The food was a little oily for my taste but overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a date or special occasion.
This DineLA menu was great! We brought the baby and a friend, and she was wowed by everything. The lobster spring rolls and bao buns are fabulous and a must have. We got a dumpling soup for the baby and he ate both dumplings! The pork sisig on DineLA was amuch appreciated. The red curry was declared a hit by our friend who likes curry. The sea bass was well done. The desserts were delicious, although the Vietnamese tart was very sweet. The wine flight was a good addition, too. Our friend is now a WP24 convert!
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful views of the city. Great service and great food. A little pricey but worth it for a special date / birthday celebration. The even brought a beautiful birthday desert.
When food was delivered to the table it had been sitting in the kitchen for some time. It was lukewarm and uninteresting. The sea bass was exactly the same. The dumplings’ taste was good but the wrappings were thick and tough. So sad. I had higher expectations for the restaurant.
The service was incredible especially when Eric first greeted us. He made all 8 of us feel very special. It was a first class experience like it always is. The pecking duck is incredible.
All of the food tastes great and the proteins were perfect. Our waitress was outstanding and made great recommendations for the meal.
Unbelievably worn out for being recently open, the staff was unprofessional and not friendly. No customer service skills at all.
Food was just OK, mostly greasy and flavorless.
Surprising that Wolfgang Puck would put his name on something like this. Very much unlike his standards and what you would expect to see in celebrity chefs restaurant.
Mr. Puck, if you are reading this, stop by for lunch or dinner one day
Will definitely come back
This was a nice evening but we thought there would be outside space and expected to be dining outside. To us a rooftop restaurant is open and we didn’t know that this was not like that. Once we got over that disappointment, we had a lovely evening and food was fantastic.
Food and service were good, but I felt it was over priced. Our waiter was not as personable as I had expected, especially since it was our first time at the restaurant. View was great. I would recommend going for drinks and small plates in the lounge.
Awesome view, great service, and delicious food! We ordered the bao buns, noodles, pork rice, the short ribs and halibut. All were excellent choices! This was our 2nd visit before going to a concert at Staples.
