Formal Chinese food with a spectacular view.
We had a 9:00 reservation. We were about 10 minutes late and met with a little bit of an attitude. The item on menu that I came for......."sorry, we are out of that." Many, if not all of the fine restaurants I have been to will compensate you (free appetizer, drink, etc.) if they run out of an item on the menu. The entire experience left me a bit disappointed.
Absolutely fantastic. Fabulous food; wonderful view; and great services. Always excellent. Creative. Delicious.
Christy is very nice. Greeted as. Good service. Enjoyed.
Came here to celebrate our anniversary. I accidentally found this place where offers vegan menu on their website and couldn’t help but made a reservation to come check it out.
It’s located on 24th floor in Ritz Carlton hotel downtown LA. You can choose either valet or park in any parking lot nearby. There is a nest lounge/ sport bar and WP24 fine dining area. They have orchid everywhere and the interior design is very modern look with high ceiling.
Our waiter was Lorenzo. He was very polite professional and attentive. We were very impressed that they have a separate vegan menu from regular menu. (Heehaw) We were so excited and tempted to order everything on the menu. Just for novelty.
They served cucumber appetizer first to start the dining experience as overture. We had hot and sour soup and impossible dumplings as starters. The soup tasted like traditional hot and sour soup I used to have when I was little. The impossible dumplings was very creative. Crispy outside but soft and juicy inside. I highly recommended. The entree: stir fried farmers market vegetables and veggies chow fun. I like both. The vegetables are so fresh. Even the yellow pepper tasted sweet to me. The chow fun was really flavorful.
We enjoyed every single moment at this place and will definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Or simple grab some drinks and enjoy the view. The only thing I was slightly slightly disappointed was I thought they would be doing something sweet for our anniversary celebration. But they are not obligated to do that anyway. Great place, good view, good food and great services. They deserve 5 out of 5
Beautiful view, great service, great tasting food. Thrilled to have had the opportunity to experience the place.
We loved the whole dining experience! This was a fun celebration for our daughters 21st. I chose it bc it seemed less expensive than other high rise dining places but didn’t notice the sides like rice and veggies each cost $10-12 extra so keep that in mind. Still for 5 people it was only $215 and we all had plenty! It was fairly empty at 7 when we got there but much busier as the night went on. DONT miss out on the chocolate mousse covered in a hard chocolate shell! my sea bass was presented as a whole fish on its belly and was spicier than I’m used to but it was delicious!
What a great place to dine before an event at Staples Center. The views were incredible. Our server was very nice and always checked on us. The food was just outstanding. I thought the portion sizes were just right.
Do not expect too much. Not in their golden days. Should be better
We enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar while we waited for our table, and had excellent service. Our dinner was delicious. We shared three appetizers, each recommended by our server. The best pork fried rice I’ve ever eaten. And the view, of course, was spectacular. My favorite meal while in LA.
We made a reservation because it looked like a lovely place on line and was in our hotel. Surroundings were beautiful, and server was friendly. However, we waited an hour until our food arrived with no refills of water during that time and no checking in by the wait staff. The noise level was so loud that we could not hear one another speak. We almost left and went to our room to get room service, but the food did arrive. The quality of food was decent, but not as high as I would expect from the price point and setting. When the bill finally arrived, there was no pen to sign the check! Altogether a bad experience and we will not be back.
Not good as usual
Bring us Champagne that was opened long time ago about a week and it was room temperature (
The food was AMAZING!! And the views were amazing!
Love the food, the place, and the service! Thank you Tanya.
The dining room was impossibly cold, bring a jacket! But other than that, the food, service and view never seem to disappoint.
The restaurant was gorgeous and the view was beautiful. The service and staff was outstanding and professional. We celebrated our 1st anniversary there and everyone from the chef makeing a specialty dessert, to the waiter made it a memorable experience and even gave . The food was was delicious! I'm so glad we chose WolfGang!
WP24 is one of my favorite restaurants in LA and I've eaten in quite a few of the higher ones. I love Wolfgang Puck's cuisine and this restaurant just takes it over the top. From the time we arrived, everyone from the host to the server were all pleasant and courteous. The view from the restaurant is spectacular and the food has always been delicious and flavorful. Everything about this restaurant is perfect, thats why its my go to restaurant when I'm trying to impress a date!
What a wonderful restaurant! Everything from the stellar view on the 24th floor to the very attentive service to the top quality food was excellent and extremely enjoyable. The appetizers were great, wine was superb and the main entree and desert were nothing short of fabulous. I will return as a repeat customer and forward my high recommendation to my friends. A job well done!
Very nice restaurant, amazing view and service is excellent. Will be back and recommend.
Excellent Asian-inspired restaurant on the 24th floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel with a view over LA Live and downtown LA, very attentive service by Amanda , very tasty food and great selection of champagnes.
I just wish there was sound dampening to deal with the overall noise. The food and service are great. The noise level is so high that it takes away from the enjoyment and overall experience.
We have been to WP24 many times... it is one of our favorites.
Beautiful views with exquisite tastes. I highly recommend this Wolfgang Puck restaurant
The food was overall generic. Nothing made my tastebuds flip. I was very disappointed. The chicken was dry and flavorless. The rice with sausage was okay. The lobster appetizer was okay aswell. The sangria was delicious as well as the sauces. The view was stunning and ambiance great. Unfortunately, I had to literally stand up 3 times to call our waiter over because he took so long. If you don’t care much about food, but want a heck of a view and a beautiful restaurant this is a great place.
AMAZING! The evening started off with a great drinks at the bar and then on to the dining area. A table by the window is a must! The service was friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding.. the Sea Bass and the Lambchops are a a must have. The ambiance, mood and views were spectacular for a romantic evening.
Amazing place for a nice dinner, make sure to check the menu before hand however since you may limited options. Overall service was amazing as the view. Would go again
Feel cozy, beautiful view, great team work for all servers, amazing food😘. Thank you to give us outstanding experience.
Went for Valentine’s Day and everything was really nice , the only thing I didn’t like was we were made to order off a limited menu but they did go out of their way to accommodate my food allergies
250 for Valentine’s Day dinner. Food was off. They are clearly phoning it in over there. I’ll never go back. It’s a shame because I always wanted to try it.
Their valentines menu was different than the pre-fix advertised online, substituting cheaper ingredients such as a sweet potato hash and roasted potatoes for more interesting ingredients such as long life noodles left me feeling a little cheated. The dishes were unbalanced and one note. My scallops screamed for acid. I wouldn’t recommend coming here on any night with a pre-fix. It was extremely underwhelming. The reported menu online for the pre-fix looked a lot more interesting than what was served. Also our table wasn’t ready on time and it took us at least ten minutes to even order a drink at a bar and it wasn’t full. Their cocktails have overly complicated preparations for relatively simple flavors. I expected more from a Wolfgang puck restaurant. The lackluster experience made it unlikely that I will return. There are better Asian fusion restaurants in Los Angeles.
We had a wonderful Valentine Day celebration. Food was wonderfully Asian influenced. Service was great and there was a terrific trio to entertain us and magnificent views. We will be back!
They had a 3 course valentines theme meal and it made our experience so much easier. The food was delicious and our minds were blown.
Great ambience, very good food and service is great
The space is nice and food and service good but somehow the sum does not equal the parts. The vast space feels empty and deserted. The signage on every wall is more motel than hotel and the place is filled with out of town-ers. The whole place is what a tourist would think of LA and does not capture any of the ambiance or soul of the city. If the Venetian is a Vegas version of Venice. WP24 is the sterile version of what people think a LA restaurant should be. Pick up one of Wolfgang’s pizzas in the frozen isle and put on Netflix. Pass!
very pretty space, great ambiance, as a party of 5 we could not get a window table. Our two servers provided excellent suggestions from the menu, this was our first time to the restaurant. One even suggested to reduce the size of our orders, that we had picked enough for our group, refreshing to hear.
We were seated promptly at our reservation time, and totally enjoyed our dining experience.
Food decent. Pricey
Service slow and ignorant
Never fails to impress.
Beautiful view on 24th floor; delicious family style dining. Peking duck was divine.
Paying 22$ to park after eating lousy tasting food that took forever to be served is not my idea of a pleasant experience.
Great restaurant. Great ambiance with beautiful views of LA. They surprised us with dessert for our anniversary dinner, which was a sweet gesture. Food was delicious (ordered the seabass and cod entrees with lobster rolls and side of mushrooms). Would visit again.
Had a great experience from start to finish. The host and hostess were both very polite and showed us to a very nice window table, as I had requested. The server was polite, patient and knowledgable about the menu. my wife and I each had great drinks and enjoyed the appetizers, entrees, and desserts. We were also provided with an anniversary cake, inline with me letting them know that the dinner was for our anniversary. We look forward to coming back again.
Unique asian-fusion cuisine with amazing views. An iconic LA restaurant.
