We take food seriously. Every sauce and entree made from scratch, from hand breaded mushrooms, our famous blackberry butter made from local berries to all of our signature steak sauces.                                                                             This was our first time eating here but it will not be the last. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and seated promptly. We ordered drinks from the bar and were impressed when the bartender took the time to look up how to make the drink I requested. We ordered steaks and they were grilled to perfection (mine was medium and my husbands was medium rare.) They have an amazing blackberry butter that they serve with homemade bread. The bread pudding put the finishing touch on our meal. The drink/wine selection is impressive. Our server, Amber, was really great! A+ all around.

                                                                            As usual, Woody’s did not disappoint. Some might say the service is a little slow. For us, fine dining means not rushing thru the meal. We delay ordering our entrees until after appetizers and cocktails so as not to be rushed. An attentive server picks up on this quickly, as did our server last night. The filets were excellent, cooked to perfection and the sides as well. We will, of course, return again.

The banana's foster desert is an experience at your table. The owner, Feather always comes by and greets us. This is our go to place in Tupelo.

                                                                            My wife and I have come to Woody’s 4-5 times and enjoy it, but we ended up walking out because the service was so poor on this trip. It took 10min from being seated to getting our drink order, and by 30min, we didn’t even have bread or an appetizer, so we left to find a different place to eat. The server, who seemed very new said that the owners were on vacation.

                                                                            The food was amazing!! I was told by someone that lives in the area to "Wallace" my steak. So glad I did. Amazing. I had a center cut filet, 7oz with crispy maple salted brussels sprouts, and a loaded baked potato. I could not eat all of it. the portions were more than generous. Plus I wanted to save room for dessert!! I heard about this Bananas Foster with blackberries flambeed tableside.....so I had to try it!! Oh my goodness, every single calorie was worth it!!! Fresh bananas, fresh blackberries flambeed and served over ice cream. One of the best desserts I've had the pleasure of tasting!! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely treat myself to Woody's!! The Southern Charm and hospitality was an added bonus. The ambiance was great. The lighting was good. Not too bright to overwhelm you, not too dim. The server was very pleasant.

                                                                            $105 meal that was not even mediocre. My first time here and was looking forward to a great meal. The smoked Gouda chips would have been great if they had more than a tiny sprinkle of cheese on them. I also ordered the roasted corn as one of my sides and it was literally a can of green giant mexicorn that wasn’t even roasted at all. It was literally warmed in a microwave. Trust me….I’ve pan roasted canned corn that was actually seared like it’s supposed to be. The steak was good. I will say that. I just hate that I paid so much money for an overall less than average meal. I was really hoping for a good meal.

                                                                            Food and service far exceeded our expectations. Our server, John.....went over and above to make sure we were satisfied. Steak melted in my mouth. Definitely the best I've ever had.

                                                                            Woodys is our go to place for any occasion. We made a snap decision to visit last night. Expensive… yes, but the filet was cooked perfectly.

                                                                            The food was good. My only complaint was the food temperatures. My sautéed mushrooms were pipping hot but my shrimp and grits were just warm when they came out but everything tasted delicious. I like my food really hot. The house made butter was superb! Bought some to take home. Husbands Aloha ribeye was cooked perfectly. It was not as sweet as we were expecting (think Houston’s Restaurant in Memphis) and was more spicy but was really good too! Our waitress, Keri C. was really nice and attentive all night! Good beer and wine menu and yummy deserts too.

                                                                            We like Houston's too! The decision not to marinate quite as sweet was so we had our own distinctive taste. We'll work on the getting the Shrimp and Grits up to temperature, but good news that you enjoyed everything,

                                                                            The meal was excellent as usual. Our server, Keri Cosner was very good. We never had to wait and the meal was served at a fitting pace for a fine dining experience. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the flavor was excellent. Sides were good as well. We will definitely dine at Woody’s again.
