Always a good choice!
Love Woodys - food is consistently good. Guacamole is delicious
We got there at 8 on a Monday night and were the only people outside. It was just right.
Our waiter was very nice..
I ordered a baby kale salad.. honestly I did not realize there was a significant difference between kale and baby kale.. not my best but
To their credit it was tasty..
my friends burger was perfect, french fries crisp and fresh. Drinks good.
They have a really nice early bird menu 3-6, Monday-Friday
We ordered two grouper entrees and simply disappointed
Great place. It’s definitely gonna be our new good to restaurant
very good restaurant with multiple menu items . Not very busy and very accommodating. Server was attentive but not disruptive. overall a good place for a quiet and casual meal
Dinner on a Sunday night at Woody's was delicious. I really enjoyed the Hudson Canyon salad and highly recommend the drunken clams.
Good tasty food. Healthy options too. They should have jumbo stuffed olives if they claim to make good cocktails such as martini's.
Woody's in Tinton Falls is one of our favorite places. Great Food,, from American to mexican, all great choices and they are very accommodating for substitutions. The Grouper was outstanding and the others in our group had salmon and halibut. Highly recomend!
Food was delicious and the wait staff was exceptional! Thank you for another great meal.
In town for a Sunday wedding. This was a nice Saturday evening find. Very happy with the food choices. Server experienced, helpful and efficient.
We love coming here! Sat outside on a beautiful night!
Good very good. Will definitely be back...
Nice place. Food was decent, and pricing good. Some interesting menu items and the drinks sounded great, although I just had wine.
A bit noisy, so I wouldn’t recommend for a romantic date, but a nice experience overall.
The food is great and the service is great. Kind of loud, so if you're looking for more of a quiet, "date night" atmosphere, the noise level kind of detracts from that. Seen several families dining there, so relaxed enough to provide a great family-friendly atmosphere.
Great food and great service! Was pleasantly surprised with food choices. Scallops were amazing and the burritos were not your run of the mill food. Bar was great meeting place and outdoor dining was comfortable. Would definitely eat there again.
Goombay Crush must have beverage. Baja tacos and Cuban Pork rolls very good.
Really enjoyed dinner at Woody’s in Tinton Falls on Saturday night. The food was great and the service was attentive and polite. Great place for a night out!
Place was very cool, staff was very nice, food was just very bard. The orange shrimp was honestly one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten. The chips and guacamole were good, but everything else we had (shrimp tacos and calamari) were well below par.
Pleasant experience, but we would love for the owner to visit our table.
Unfortunately our meal stopped after the chips and guacamole appy—townwide power failure stopped our experience so we can not review the food but beautiful welcoming place with great service— hope to try the food the next time we are in the area
Great as always!
We found Woody's on-line and, even though there were some mixed reviews, it seemed worth trying. We weren't disappointed. The appetizers and entrees were all made perfectly and were quite tasty. Portions are generous, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Made a reservation with open table. Received confirmation call saying we'd be asked to leave if we stayed longer than two hours (really?). Seated at table just inside front door and swatted flying insects while we ate. Just a crappy experience overall. Food was good, so that's nice. Will not be planning another visit in the foreseeable future.
The food came out barley warm, it had a little flavor and although the restaurant was basically empty, the service wasn’t great. Very disappointing Mother’s Day lunch.
Food was much too spicy. Some items on the menu come without a warning. Salsa was far too spicy. There should be an alternative.
I haven't been in the restaurant since Charlie Brown's was there and the renovation looks fantastic! The menu offered a variety and it was really good! The service was on point.
We love the menu as we are seafood people, but also like Mexican food a great deal. What a terrific combination. We sat at the bar - really good bartenders. Again, menu is outstanding in
range and reach. My wife is strict and picky and i am all over the place. We were both happy.
good parking. Highly recommend.
scallops fajitas !!! Excellente !!!
Our dinner at Woody's was a bit disappointing. I had the grilled cod tacos- usually a favorite of mine. They were just average, bland and missing shredded cabbage. I won't be in a hurry to order them again. My husband had the Outerbanks Salad. He said the lettuce was wilted and fish on top was cool. Our appetizer was a shrimp and black bean dish- delicious - but missing the coconut rice. I'm glad we sat outside because inside was very noisy. The outside tables are wonderful. I will think again when suggesting this restaurant to others.
I like Woodys. However, I felt that the server was pushing extras charges like apps, sides, coffee, dessert, etc. I said yes to a side without realizing that it was an extra cost because of the way she presented it, as an option that came with my meal.
Went to Woody's before going to a show in Deal this past Saturday night. As always the food was very good. I had the wedge salad which is probably the best I've ever eaten. My husband ordered a spicy pasta dish that he also enjoyed. We have been there on several occasions and never had a bad meal. We were put in the bar area to eat, and that was not our scene, however, it was okay. Much prefer eating out in the front room or upstairs.
Not a great experience unfortunately. Just moved to the area and wanted to try something new. Waitress was very slow and forgot to bring requested items multiple times. Food came out cold and taco meat fell thru the tortilla. Pork tacos were cut up pork chops. Had to use a fork and spoon to eat the tacos becuase you couldnt pick them up and eat them as normal. At the end, the lady came to the table to tell us that she hadnt brought a drink out because the soda machine was down. She told us this with food in her mouth, still chewing. Only a 10% tip was left.
My mother-in-law and I had a wonderful evening. We were accommodated beautifully with a fireside table close to entrance, so she did not have to walk too far. Service was prompt and courteous.
Thanks for a great evening!
Always fresh! Great staff and always love table # 23
Loved it! Made a reservation and were sat right away upon arrival. We ordered the honey glazed salmon and lobster tagitelle and both were fantastic. Highly recommend checking this place out- can’t wait to come back!
Food was better than typical bar menu. Tap craft beer disappointing. Service very good.
WOODY"S -Tried and True - Where should we go? I don't have time to cook. I worked really late. Well,it's time to go to Woody's. The drinks are great. The ambiance is relaxing - sit near the fireplace, maybe at the bar, try a hightop, or just enjoy being at a table. Every server is attentive and helpful! If Dawn's at the bar, you're in luck!
There's a nice cross section of items The burgers are great. The fish tacos are my favorite. You can't go wrong if you come on a Wednesday night for the lobster dinner.
I do have one complaint! The chips are TOO GOOD and I eat too many! OK, I guess a little self-control is in order!
I've been to Woodys a few times and have never had a bad meal. The Baja tacos and kale salad are my go it's almost every time. This last visit I had the shrimp appetizer special and it was the first time I was a bit disappointed. For $18.00 I would've expected better. They were good but not exceptional. Otherwise, everything was wonderful including our waitress!
