   This is by far my favorite place to go for brisket in Fort Worth. A nice moist cut with a salty bark can't get any better. Also happens to be the best restaurant patio in DFW as well.

   Food was good - great location and just a fun evening. Music was great and the tables just to hang out were nice.

   The Woodshed is always fun whether you are stopping by for a quick drink after running on the trail to dinner with a group of friends. It never disappoints!

   The restaurant, sited on the Trinity River bank/footpath, makes for a pleasant patio experience. We had the beef ribs and the ramen. Ribs were cooked well--with a great smokehouse exterior crust. Ramen was interesting--too much garlic and the soup was oversalted. Also this dish is not big enough--very little soup and noodles for a meal portion. The peppers and onions made for a nice snap. The pork in the ramen dish seemed leftover... A complaint I also would have is that the menu seems very 'a la carte'. More thought needs to go into crafting each menu item into a full meal. Also had desert--LOVED the chocolate pie (especially the marshmallow/meringue topping), really disliked the fried apple pies--jalapenos just ruined it for us.

   It's a nice restaurant. The atmosphere is great. It's a fun place to bring people from out of town.

   Boy, am I glad I finally made it to Woodshed (its been on my list for a while)! Prices were very reasonable and the food was outstanding. Really fun atmosphere with live music - at least on Saturday night when we went. Atmosphere was very casual and lively. Location right on the Trinity river is gorgeous - take a walk before or after dinner! My only concern is what it is like in summer - I'm not sure what the indoor/outdoor experience would be like in 90 degrees-plus weather, with no central air conditioning!

   The restaurant is right on the trinity river. We enjoyed the setting very much. But, when we got our food we were very surprised to see the serving sizes. We felt they were small for the prices on the menu. We did notice tables ordering the family style meals. This may be a reason to come back. But for now, we are still trying to get over the sticker shock! All in all, we left satisfied and enjoyed the food. But with the prices we paid we should have left with a very full stomach or maybe some food to take home! Also,they charge for Valet Parking(no choice unless you find an open parking spot on the street). We felt that was a racket considering they had an empty parking lot they were not using!

    Always good food. Service struggled, waited far too long for drinks. They only had one bartender that night when they were hosting a 5K race with an extra 200 or so people.
