We were there for Easter brunch. We were one of the first tables seated and we placed out order quickly. We were given our first course of cold coffee cake and unripe fruit. Almost an hour later, our main course arrived. The orange cinnamon French toast had no orange and was overcooked on one side. Eggs were overcooked. Hollandaise tasted like mayonnaise.

I have since found out that they only do brunch twice a year. I would not recommend them for it.

Warm & friendly, from the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by friendly staff. At the table our waiter was jovial & took care of all our requests in a timely manner. Food was delivered on time. A very enjoyable experience!

While a bit spendy for a weekly spot for dinner, I highly recommend Woodman for a special celebration!

Fantastic place where you feel a bit like stepping back in time or into a 'westworldish' vibe. The authentic spatoon, player piano and gorgeous crystal chandelier must be experienced rather than described. The steaks are amazing...chef Rob knows what he is doing to a piece of meat whether it's bison, elk or beef. Oh and the baked beans! Don't forget to pair it with the dehorn manhattan. Divine. Go.

For the price, the meat was not good enough. Taste wad good, but it was tough. At $58 I expect a perfect steak, it was not.

We have been to the Woodman several times, but this was the first time we brought a larger party (6). 4 people had never been there before and will probably not come back because of issues with our table. We were initially seated in the middle of a large party up stairs, people were standing and having drinks, making it incredibly awkward. When we asked to be reseated the hostess basically said take the seat or leave.

We involved the manager who corrected the problem. We were reseated it took at least 30 minutes to order drinks and 45 minutes before drinks arrived.

Once our food was ordered and arrived things were fine, but as someone who invited two other couples to join us, one person is a chef, it was a bit embarrassing.

We'll go back, but not sure how soon.

This was my second visit to Woodman lodge and I was disappointed in the quality of the food. Prime Rib lacked flavor and was served warm (and not because of the requested meat temperature) and was not very flavorful. The sides were a bit lackluster as well. I tasted my wife's 8oz filet and overall the preparation was "average". When considering the price, I Woodman lodge did not provide the quality I was expecting.
