Was surprised that when my husband and I wanted to split a meal that we were told to do so would cost us extra because the kitchen would have to use an additional plate. As people get older they can not consume as much food and with the cost of your meals I find that not acceptable.
The bread on the onion soup was burnt. The mushrooms came out after the meal and were raw. The server was nice and on top of things as well as the manager who pulled these items from our bill. The lobster soup was great as always. Just seemed like things were out of sorts compared to our normal visits. Thanks David
Had the 12oz prime rib cooked to medium. It was perfect. Very tender and tasty. Would order again. We also had spaghetti with smoky meatballs they were excellent too
Great Prime Rib. Drinks and sides also excellent. Highly recommend.
Was there 30 minutes before we got bread. Filet Mignon was tough.
We love to eat at Woodfire Grill the Prime Rib is amazing! The Manager is right on top of things Mr. Epperson and always making sure we have an awesome experience. Shout out to our hostess Kayla as well for making sure our dining experience was above and beyond. Thank you so much to all of you!!!
Woodfire grill is one of our favorite places to celebrate special occasions. Good food and special treatment are what they do!
I had the scallops and they were fantastic. My fiance had the prim rib and it was good. Would have liked a spot not in the middle of the room. I'll request that next time. The service was good. Only forgot a refill once. I do wish there was a bit more food for the money. Didn't think that loaded hash-browns were worth the $12, it was just hash-browns with sour cream and part of it was burnt. The fresh bread was good though.
Good food, great service! Enjoyed a steak and bottle of wine.
Overall gd place to eat food was good service was great. Value for food is a little high an portions small
Our dinner with the woodfire grill was excellent! We will be back. The food and service was wonderful!
We had a great meal, 2 for 1 prime rib on Wednesday. Our waiter, David, made it a wonderful evening and made us feel at home. The food and service was excellent. The prime ribs were huge and just perfect, everything was awesome. Thanks Woodfire Grill!
Loved the easy online reservation. Great steak! Service was a little slow.
Our food was odd and the chicken was a bit slimy. Our bill was close to $95 for two people and no alcohol so it was a bit pricy. The waitress was nice but left us unattended quite a bit. The hostess was horrible. Very cold and rude. This dining establishment definitely needs a friendlier person to greet them. Especially if your gonna drop the amount of money you do.
Good selection of food and drinks. 3 of the 4 in our party would order what we got again. Main complaints were that the front desk wasn’t the friendliest, the water glasses weren’t kept full, and they sat 4 of us at a table meant for 6-8 so it seemed like we were so far away from each other!
The waitress was great but had too many tables and therefore could not keep up-Steak was one of the worst I have had in a long time. Chewy at Med and no flavor-for the price was not happy. Bread excellent, Lobster Bisque Excellent, Baked Potatoes big as Dallas!
Fantastic food and service. Worth the money without question. My wife and I have tried the higher end steak houses in Wichita KS and have been disappointed every time. This was such a better experience, and the food was amazing! Thanks for a great evening for my wife and I. We will be back very soon.
Basically a very good experience. We weren’t crazy about the appetizer offerings. Ordered calamari and the cheese board. Calamari was good but the cheese board was a “nothing”. Four pieces of each of the 2 cheeses and 2 extremely thin pieces of bread, a few of what I’d describe as round soup crackers, a few dried cherries and some sort of jam. Aside from the 2 thin pieces of bread really nothing to put the jam on so it was really useless. Ordered my sirloin medium and it was more rare so I assume next time I should order it well done to get it medium. Garlic mashed potatoes had big lumps which is okay but should be mentioned on the menu. Disappointed that asparagus is no longer with the meal & has to be ordered as a side. The bread didn’t seem as fresh as it has been in previous times. Service was excellent.
We thought the steak was over seasoned but excellent on tender. Mac & cheese was great
I ate the 16oz strip steak, which was excellent. I recommend it.
Very good food. Really enjoyed the BOGO prime rib dinners we had on Wednesday. Also, salad was very good.
Nice environment, but for the price we've had better food at other steakhouses. Our steak was slighty underdone near the bone, and the seasoning on the sauteed mushrooms was off. The presentation of the spaghetti & meatballs isn't very appealing - the meatballs are way too big. The salads and bread were great though, and our waitress, though busy, kept us supplied with what we needed. Overall, were we underwhelmed given the cost.
We go pheasant hunting every year at this time and part of the experience is staying at the Hampton and having a dinner at the Woodfire Grill. Amazing prime rib with a great selection of wine at reasonable prices.
Would highly recommend it.
We were very disappointed in our meal. We ordered a lobster dinner and had the lobster come out mushy. Which was taken back and came back out extremely salty, to which we were told lobster is from the ocean so it may be salty. Unreal. This was brought back out after everyone was basically already done eating. The manager acted like he was doing us a favor to take that meal off of our bill. Another one of us had crab on top of our steak. Very dry and salty as well. The salads and prime rib were not bad. The server was very nice and apologetic. But the manager was borderline rude. For the money you spend, the food and service should be excellent. Very disappointed.
In our Open Table reservation we requested '"no half booth please", guess where they tried to sit us....yep, took us right to a half booth which we declined until something else was available; which of course then delayed our dinner from the original reservation time. Then it took 55 minutes from the time we ordered until the food arrived at our table. Our steak that was ordered medium well came out medium rare but there was no way were sending it back for a longer wait. The waitress was friendly and nice and we understood she had no control over the issues that had not gone well. The one bright spot in the night was that the adult beverages were exceptional which helped take the edge off of the evening!
Great place for a nice romantic dinner or just going to dinner where you get treated like a king. Food is great so is the atmosphere. Can be a little pricey but well worth it
I had a 12 oz. prime rib with a loaded baked potato and mushrooms after a shrimp cocktail. My wife had a filet with special cheese sauce and a vegetable after a shrimp cocktail. The food was prepared perfectly and the meat in both cases was prepared tender and tasty as we requested. We also shared a bottle of red wine together. The meals and total experience was remember-able and an excellent time for Valentines Day.
Everything was just really amazing food was good so waitresses excellent
We each had the 7 ounce filet, which is always perfect. Chop salad is great. Food was all delicious. We were seated by a woman who was talking loudly about her abusive childhood and her family members who had various illnesses. Not what we wanted to hear on Valentine's Day.
I was shocked in how much of a decline in the quality of food. The meat tasted like it was boiled before grilled and the flavor was not there. The asparagus was woody and thick with little flavor. I ate at the restaurant last year and it was so much better than now. I apologize for the bad review but it was so very disappointing compared to before.
The food was just OK. The steak was hot but a little tough I do get my steak Med Well but have never had it that tough before. The Waitress was nice but did not see her that often.
It was nice to try once, probably wouldn’t go back.
Everything was amazing! We will definitely be coming back real soon!
Poor service from waitress. Never refilled drinks. Could have sold two more glasses of wine and beer. She even told us when she came to the table “they probably should not have seated you in my section”.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We were greeted and seated with happy and polite staff. One of our best visits to Woodfire.
For starters, the service has always been outstanding. But there has been some changes as far as the prime rib meal is concerned. Seasoning on the outside crust of the meat isn’t was it used to be. Same for the mashed potatoes. Both were rather bland. Small points but very noticeable. Perfection is hard to maintain.
Meat was very tender. Great price, but the dining experience isn’t as enjoyable.
Spent over an hour waiting on food to come ,90 min is wasted when I could be out gambling . Waiter said manager would probably throw in dessert and never did , manager showed up at the 30 min. Mark and said we were next .. shortly after that our waiter said our order was lost ......food was great , service prolly better in the buffet area
The steaks were very good, the lobster was a little under cooked, potato and bread were perfect and the vegetable was absolutely gross!
We have eaten several times at Woodfire Grill. The food is delicious, and the service is very good. We love the quiet ambiance. It makes for a relaxing evening.
Everything was wonderful! Surf and turf was excellent, steaks cooked perfectly. Thank you for a great Bday dinner.
