All I can say is WOW!!! Best prime rib we have had!!! My baked potato was huge and just delicious!! The bartender was so helpful when we told him we had never been there before. He put our appetizer order in so it was at our table shortly after being seated. Our waitresses were absolutely amazing. We will be going back. Thank you for a great experience and for your friendliness ♡

We had a wonderful meal and time once again at the Woodfire Grille. It is a perfect place to go for a special occasion or just a get-together with family or friends. I have tried several different entree’s and all were delicious. We have recommended Woodfire Grille to friends and family

Had a wonderful night, Kelsey was a fantastic waitress, she anticipated what we needed. Food was great and was given a red rose when we were finished. Nice ending to our meal!

The food was great! Service was very prompt. Clean facility and restrooms, good lighting, would go more often if it wasn't so pricey, otherwise very happy!

Avocado appetizers were excellent. I had lobster bisque soup and my husband had French onion - both were very good. I had a filet he had pork tenderloins. Both were cooked to perfection. The individual fireplaces for the booths are so nice. Our server Lisa was so wonderful - she really made our 20-year anniversary very special.

This is an upscale dining establishment that is true to it's character. Have you ever found yourself at a recommended, expensive restaurant that is missing some key element that just makes the experience not worth the price? Not the case at Woodfire Grille where they have managed to perfect it all. The ambiance is beautiful but not over the top and is comfortable for single couples and large groups alike. The wine list is extensive and impressive, the menu is both comforting and eclectic and the food was just down right delicious.
Our server was Lisa, what a gem. Jessica was on hand to recommend a bottle of wine to compliment our meal and her choice was spot on. These two ladies were friendly, happy to be there and very knowledgeable. Their enthusiasm was certainly a huge factor in our extremely positive dining experience.

We typically really enjoy our dining experience here. But this time the food was off. My beef tenderloin was medium well when I asked for medium. My wife's pasta dish was lacking any taste compared to other times she has ordered the same dish.

Too expensive for the amount of food. Too limited of a menu. Won’t go again

Wine list has changed. Few French wines, which is a disappointment. Woodfire was virtually the only local restaurant that offered fine French wines. Otherwise, the food, ambience, and service are top rate.

We love Woodfire Grill and it is one of our favorite special occasion spots in Dubuque. We were a bit disappointed that there was no recognition/complimentary dessert, as we had stated on our reservation this was a birthday celebration. Other guests at nearby tables appeared to also be celebrating, and received candlelit dessert. That is the only complaint.

Really nice ambiance for a casino restaurant. The food was really good, just pricy. If you order a steak, you're going to have to order your salad or soup separately. It does come with a small amount of vegetable. Good cocktail selection.
